We were staying at Sleep Inn and they recommended The Forum for dinner. They were very busy but the service was still good and so was our food. I had fried shrimp with sweet potato fries and my husband had the seafood alfrado. Way more than we could eat. For the appetizer we had the saganaki which was delicious. My father and I stopped by The Forum in September 2012 for a weekday lunch while travelling through the area. We left very happy that we stopped in. The gyro I ordered was good. My father had soup and an entree that he really enjoyed. The service was good and the food did not take long to arrive. Price wise, our very filling and quality meal cpst is about $10-$11 each (including tip). The restaurant interior was clean. It seemed just slightly dark. There were lots of retired people eating-- something that I think indicates good food at reasonable prices. We will be back. read more

Everything here is great! We started with the chicken fingers. They are lightly battered and we requested their inferno sauce. We also got the artichoke dip. It was cheesy wonderfulness! I got the Greek salad and split the lasagna with my mother. My father got the NY strip and really enjoyed it. We ended up splitting the baklava and it was exactly how I imagined it should be! My husband and I had the Ribeye steak. His was cooked perfectly. Mine was slightly over cooked but not enough to complain. The rest of the food was nicely cooked but plain. The bar side was the busy part. But the main dinning area was nice and quiet. The restrooms were also clean. That is a pet peeve of mine. We were driving across the country and pulled off the interstate and found this gem. Hungry for a gyro my husband and I ordered one and split the Greek salad. The salad was so large we at first thought the waitress had brought us two. Besides large portions of feta cheese on the fresh lettuce there was a warm stuffed grape leaf and two other warm Greek specialities. Friendly service. Many locals dining there. Seems that they either have a mix of really good and really bad cooks (and I caught a couple bad ones) or people giving this place 5 stars have never had quality food. Everything about the place says "quality food", to include the prices, except for the food. The service was average at best. Nothing to complain about, but nothing to brag about either. I ordered a steak and it was terrible. I ordered it medium rare and it was almost well done. Barely any pink in the middle. It was advertised as "seasoned" with their own blend of spices or something along those lines. Their spices must consist of air and heat, because I couldn't taste anything but overcooked meat. The complimentary bread sticks weren't bad, so I decided to come back and try an Italian dish. It tasted like it came out of the frozen food section at Walmart. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'd rather eat Stouffer's frozen food than The Forum's "fresh" food. At least Stouffer's has a little flavor to their food. You'd think for the price they charge, they could afford to hire a decent cook. read more

Stayed in Days Inn across the street. I and my wife decided to go for a decent meal, so we thought Forum is an interesting place. I ordered a strip steak. The place is very clean and staff is friendly. We had 4 different people serving us food! It was around 8pm. My wife ordered a Greek salad and a French onion soup. She enjoyed her meal. I don't know if I should be picky when it comes to steaks, but my steak was far from perfect. I don't expect them to be like those in the steak houses, but c'mon! I like my steak medium and this one was dry, not like it was well done dry, just dry. Everything else was good. read more

We recently ordered an Italian dinner from the Forum for our team of 80 rowers. The food was fantastic! Portions were huge! Everyone loved the fettuccine alfredo, lasagna (meat and veggie), spaghetti, meatballs, baked chicken, salad, and bread sticks. Alex and Jesse were wonderful to work with -- helped us have great options for all of our team members with special dietary needs. Price for this feast was exceedingly reasonable. I started with the Flaming Cheese Saganaki. It was really good. They give you so many chips with it that you could make a meal from this alone. For the main course I had the 10-ounce rib eye, medium (it was cooked perfectly). For sides I had the house salad and the mixed vegetables. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be back next time my travels bring me to the area. It feels good spending your money at a family owned business and supporting the local economy. The service was very good also. I ordered a small pizza with sausage and veggies. When it arrived, it appeared that the crust, sauce and cheese had been precooked, then the toppings tossed on when they reheated it to bring to the table. What a disappointment. The salads were predished and stored in cooler so lettuce was limp. The 1000 Island dressing was good. My pork chops and my husband's chicken were cooked in advance then reheated making them very dry and chewy. Made for fast service but I would have preferred to wait longer for my food. read more

A joke. A horrible joke. It is sad that The Forum was crowded on a Friday night and considered the place to be by locals because Robert Irvine would have a field day at this place. First off, this is not a Greek restaurant. Everything you order has been frozen and then heated in a microwave. The "food" arrived cold, greasy, and just inedible. If you find yourself in the area and have to eat on Southgate Pkwy, I advise that you get a bucket of chicken from Norm, err, I mean Colonel Sanders or a Big Mac and fries. read more

Thought this place was very mediocre this evening. Had one of the specials which was a Cajun chicken stir fry served with white rice. There was nothing "Cajun" about it and there was hardly any chicken in it; mostly onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Very lame. It came with two bread sticks and a salad which I appreciated. The bar server asked me when I ordered whether I wanted cheese (cheddar and mozzarella) in my salad. Of course, I said "Yes" since one should never say "No" to cheese. When I got my bill, however, I realized that the server had added 60 cents for the cheese, which I thought was nickel-and-diming me especially since she never mentioned there would be an additional charge for freakin' shredded cheese in my salad! Shouldn't a salad come standard with cheese?! Finally, they had a good, Ohio-brewed IPA on tap which I enjoyed. Total out the door with tip was $26.61. We ate dinner here late fri night when driving to Columbus. It was very good and much better than the chain restaurants. The service was excellent. The Greek sampler, blue cheese dressing for the salad, bread sticks, and salmon entree were excellent. The kids weren't terribly impressed with the chicken fingers or bland fettuccini Alfredo. Been going to Cambridge Family Eye Care for 4 or 5 years now. I recently got glasses there,when they called me to come pick them up,I paid with cash. When I got them home and wore them for the day,knew they wasn't going to work for me on the inside of them it was distracting I could see the Michael Kors logo.I didn't want to keep them long fear of them saying I had to keep them,so I took them back the very next day,and I told them ( the receptionist)that I didn't want my $500 back because I had to pick out another pair,and did so the following week.When the second pair come in they was $14 more I went to pay my $14 and they(a man I had NEVER seen before and the same receptionist) They was very adamant that I DID NOT PAY FOR MY FIRST PAIR!! Which they wouldn't have even let a person leave with glasses they didn't pay for! So I was accused of being a thief. Which I don't take lightly! I've never stole anything in my life! When I got home the Dr. himself called me and told me that I didn't pay for them either,they just couldn't find any record of where I paid and they were going to have to eat it,but I wasn't aloud to come back there. Why I threw my receipt away was beyond me,but I knew in my heart I'd paid cash for them.Which never again will I pay with cash! The very next morning I got a phone call from Dr.Doudna saying he owned me an apologize,they had found my receipt the receptionist found it! I have 2 last names and it was filed wrong! Maybe they need glasses! And new receptionists! They were all rude. Not everyone that goes there is on Public Assistance. They lost a good and honest person who is blessed to pay cash for my glasses....Now it's in my attorney's hands. Sure hope they learn a lesson to check into the facts before they accuse someone of being a thief! Maybe getting better and nicer help would be a good idea too.
