5/5. Dockside fish sandwich no bacon. Excellent.
    Ahmad G.

The fish sandwich was incredible here!. I would come back for that only! The Dockside sandwich or something. The service was good but took too long to come. The ambiance is the killer here! Love the scene of the boats, the water, the sky, yes you actually you see the whole sky and you smell the Atlantic. Would come back for sure.

I stopped in here after the cape cod half marathon and thought it would be packed but it was one of the only restaurants in town that wasn't and I don't know why! The view of the marina it was next to was gorgeous, we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the ocean. The service was great very quick and good at catering to our party's seafood allergy. We got onion rings as an appetizer and the portion was HUGE our table of 7 had a hard time finishing it and they were good, heavily battered in a good way and nice and crunchy without the breading flaking off. I also got the kitchen sink sushi roll and it was jam packed with flavors and toppings. I really liked the roe and charred salmon ontop it was full of texture and you definitely got your fill on every fish option available on the cape. Would probably be my go to order when I go again-but definitely not the light meal sushi normally is!

This place has a great view of the marina and with it being so large you're almost always guaranteed a prime spot! We went on a Saturday afternoon and were seated on one of the decks immediately. We ordered clam chowder, bang bang shrimp, hot lobster roll, BLT, grilled salmon, and Mariner salad. Everything was really tasty and well portioned, the bacon in the BLT was just a bit tough.

Nice place to by the water to stop by for some fresh seafood. They have an indoor and outdoor seating with a bar in each area. We started off with the calamari which was nicely fried and tasted like fresh unfrozen calamari. Then we had the seafood platter. The scallops were juicy and sweets. The cod was a nice thick piece. Clams were fresh and well fried. The French fries were also really crispy. Service was quick. Overall a nice place for some fried seafood.

Shrimp cocktail was so fresh and tastey!

Can't beat the view, food and service at this gem! Loved the steamers, chowder and salad with watermelon and pistachios. Sushi pizza was interesting but not our favorite. Highly recommend!! Will return there for sure!

Never a dull moment here at the flying bridge. Food was spot on, the service was great the whole time. Love what they did with the outdoor bar. Gives you a place to get out of the way while you wait for your table. Always a stuffed belly and smile when I leave.

One of our favorite places! Always great food, service, and views! Can't wait for the Long Bar to open for the season.

It was a little surprising that a room with such a large common space would have two queen beds instead of a king bed, though. The staff, including housekeeping, did a great job making us feel like guests of honor all weekend long, with a bride and groom welcome setup and several refreshes of the room while we were away. We were also able to book one of the dog-friendly rooms at the last minute, in which my mom stayed with our dog. There was lots of green space on and off the property for our dog to explore on walks. The Coonamessett also hosted our morning-after-the-wedding buffet breakfast, which we coordinated through their special events team five months before the wedding. The food was pretty good, nothing special, but was a little on the pricier side (to be expected for a wedding-related event). Since they weren't hosting a wedding on-site that weekend, we were able to use the entire ballroom space. A couple hotel guests wandered in and grabbed a plate before we informed them it was a private event. The Coonamessett even opened the bar for our guests (my niece and nephew said the espresso martinis were good!).

We are in a 55 ft Fleming and struggling. The closest dock was the Falmouth Yacht Club dock. To avoid hitting moored boats and for our safety we blew to the dock and tied ONE line to hold us. We needed a few minutes(10 at the dock) to regroup, let our thrusters regenerate, and get some help before proceeding to our assigned slip in the harbor. The "managers" immediately approached us and were very concerned about their dock, NOT our safety or the other boats in the harbor! My husband was up on the bridge captaining and I jumped off the boat to the dock to tie us up-with ZERO help from the "managers"! I was in tears and am a 69 year old woman. These men had ONE concern ONLY and it was their dock, NOT OUR SAFETY! They said our boat was too heavy for their dock and we couldn't stay. We had no intention of staying and my husband said many times that we needed a few minutes to let our thrusters regenerate. If your dock is more important than human life, then great! The open layout creates great communal spaces for gathering and dining, while still allowing for privacy -- and the view of Buzzards Bay makes it even more special. Everything was spotless and well cared for. You can tell they take pride in maintaining the grounds and units. What really stood out was the staff -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in creating a great guest experience. They represent hospitality at its best. If you're looking for a venue for a wedding, retreat, or corporate event, this place -- especially with those bay views -- would be ideal. We got both fresh offerings of oysters to start.- so good. For beverages, I had a Maine IPA & Kate had a pear pressure. We really enjoyed them both. Kate got the Seafood Pot Pie. The good news is we try each others meals. An absolute home run! The scrod, lobster, scallops and shrimp were perfect. Add in Newburg sauce asparagus and spinach, top it with a puff pastry to soak up the sauce-10 out of 10. There is a reason it's a house favorite. I had the baked seafood trio. Shrimp, scrod and scallops, with baked potato and asparagus. 2 u-15 shrimp, 3oz of fresh Chatham scrod and 3 local scallops, done in a lemon beurre blac. A small portion of each but delicious. The baked potato was just like you would hope. Asparagus was underdone, by our tastes, but not knocking the rating over that. Overall 8/10. Will try the blackened mahi mahi next visit. In my experience one can tell a lot from a restaurant's name. With cliche names like "Quarterdeck," "Fisherman's Catch," etc. it's almost guaranteed to be average at best. I don't know why but it's usually true. I got a clam roll which turned out to be a mistake. I got it because I wanted a smaller portion than the platter. But the clams were oversized for a roll and too few in number so it was hard to eat. Good for a platter but for a roll, smaller clams and more of them would be better. But the clams though were fresh, cooked correctly, and the batter was decent, not outstanding. The roll was toasted and buttered, and a small lettuce leaf completed the sandwich. My biggest complaint was the tartar sauce, homemade, which was a disaster. Tasted of little more than plain mayonnaise. Unfortunately the fries were almost room temperature. I wasn't going to say anything but when the waitress came by and asked I told her. She apologized, took them away, and returned with a new platter of fries, a very large portion, and scaldingly hot. I was no longer so hungry but ate a good fraction of them, as leaving them after she brought a replacement just seemed rude. They weren't very good though; greasy and the oil didn't taste fresh. To drink I had a "mocktail" version of a Moscow Mule. It was way too sweet. Without the bite of alcohol it needed something else to tone down the sweetness. It wasn't cheap either. I should have just had a plain ginger ale. I would recommend trying someplace else instead. Lots of choices in the area.
