First time having Flying Biscuit fresh and I'm officially a fan -- especially of this location! I've had Flying Biscuit before, but only as leftovers from other locations. This was my first time dining in and let me just say... there's a huge difference when it's hot and fresh. I chose this location specifically after peeking at reviews and health scores from others -- glad I trusted my gut! I walked in completely drained and asked the server what would get me back on my feet. Without hesitation: "The Sledgehammer." Four shots of espresso with steamed half & half for $7. Yeah, the name is no joke -- it hit hard and hit right. We came for the High Flyer $10 special (normally $16.49): Two eggs Choice of sage sausage patties or bacon Creamy dreamy grits Pancake or Belgian waffle And of course, the flying biscuit Honestly, for $10, I was more than satisfied. If I had paid full price, I might have chosen something more adventurous -- but that waffle was wafflin'! Shoutout to our server -- cool, attentive, and knew the menu. The food came out hot, fresh, and fast. The vibe of this location is super artsy too -- even the ceiling tiles from the entrance to the bathroom are hand-painted. That's some next-level dedication. Now about the namesake: the biscuit? Ehh, it was okay. If we're being real, they should consider rebranding to Flying Grits because those grits? Absolute perfection. Already planning to come back for the Shrimp and Grits ($18.49) -- saw someone at the next table with it and nearly asked for a bite. All in all, this location deserves ALL the stars. Friendly service, solid coffee, quick turnaround, and flavorful comfort food. Can't wait for round two!

I love this simple little brunch spot. The service is always friendly and the ambiance is casual diner style with a kitschy, fun flair. My typical go to is the Hollywood Omelette. It comes with moon dusted potatoes and a biscuit with apple butter. It feels like the perfect balance between healthy and a little splurge. That giant biscuit is to die for (obviously, it's their namesake item). I smother it with that delicious apple butter! I've also had The Garden Fresh Veggie Scramble which is yummy too, as well as Chorizo Hash (not pictured). Another great side item is the creamy dreamy grits (also not pictured, sorry)! The Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast is visually pleasing, as you can see by my photo, and so yummy. A great shareable item! Everything I've had, I've enjoyed!

My first time at Flying Biscuit and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Cute, casual, place. Came in on a weekday around lunch/brunch time and got seated immediately. Service was really good and servers did not have any problem explaining the menu. One of my favorites was definetly the hot honey butter chicken and waffles. The tenders on here were soooo good! They also have mimosa flights with various flavors that are super tasty! They have lunch items like burgers a d different sandwiches, but I think their breakfast tastes better. I would definitely return.

I had to check out Flying Biscuit in Toco Hill, and I'm so glad I did! First up, the Bistro Chicken--crispy, parmesan-herb encrusted chicken smothered in hollandaise, capers, parmesan, and diced tomatoes, all served with truffle parmesan fries. Trust me, it's a must-try! My server was certainly helpful and guided me through the menu with ease But why stop there? I mixed and matched with a few other classics: * Joey Bag of Donuts - These bite-sized beignets dusted with powdered sugar and served with creamy crème anglaise were pure indulgence. * Hot Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit - Sweet, spicy, and SO good. It was the perfect combo of flavors. * Flying Biscuit Breakfast - Eggs, creamy dreamy grits, chicken sage sausage (or bacon), and that iconic fluffy biscuit with cranberry apple butter. Seriously, the biscuit alone is worth it. * Stuffed French Toast Breakfast - Thick slices of French toast stuffed with sweet cream cheese, topped with raspberry sauce, crème anglaise, fresh strawberries, and powdered sugar. If you've got a sweet tooth, this is your dream dish! And let's talk about their Flying Cocktails--they really bring the vibes: * Mimosa Flight - Champagne with your choice of 3 juice options. Perfect for sipping and chatting. * Stage 5 Clinger - A Bloody Mary with bacon-wrapped shrimp. So good, I didn't want it to end! * RURU Spicy Margarita - Jalapeño simple syrup, pineapple, and a tajín rim. A perfect mix of heat and sweet. * Espresso Martini - The perfect boozy pick-me-up. I definitely needed that energy boost. Flying Biscuit has become one of my favorite spots for delicious food, amazing cocktails, and great vibes. I can't recommend it enough!

My dad was back in town for a few days and had to take care of a couple of things on this side of town one morning, so we decided to stop for breakfast first. It was a Tuesday, so we were able to find parking right outside, and the restaurant wasn't busy so we were seated right away. Dad ordered the hot chicken and waffle. He said he enjoyed it but the chicken needed a little something, so he probably would have enjoyed the hot honey butter chicken waffle more. I ordered the southern scramble, which has bacon, spicy vegan collard greens, onions, and cheddar cheese. It also comes with a side of the creamy dreamy grits and a biscuit. We also wanted some of the chicken sausage, and I had an offer for a free order of fried green tomatoes. They weren't sure if they would be able to honor it initially, but it worked out. Like I said, the restaurant wasn't busy at the time so it was nice and quiet and we were able to chat. Our food came out fairly quickly and was hot and fresh. The portions were large, so we ended up not being able to finish everything and left with a couple of small to-go boxes. The waitress was attentive and kind throughout our meal. All in all, a great morning spent with my dad. Thanks!

The chain itself is ehh anyways. Had to eat here because some guys didn't wanna go into the city for breakfast which was fine. Flying cafe dining rooms are usually pretty tacky which is their thing but I personally don't enjoy. Waitresses are always nice and lovely but food has never been something I'd brag about. Just plain old breakfast. They're hot chicken and waffles get me everytime as they just taste like waffles drenched in siracha. Overall okay.

Flying Biscuit is locally owned but a chain restaurant that serves breakfast fares - from biscuit sandwiches to waffles to some healthier options. We arrived on Saturday around 10:30 am and the place was maybe 3/4 full. They have a small receiving area and people were piling in at the same time that we walked in. I was afraid there would be a wait but we were seated right away. We perused the menu and our server asked us for drink orders. We both got coffee and water. After dropping off our drinks, he asked if we were ready and we went ahead and ordered. I was initially going to order something off the menu but made a last minute decision to order their organic oatmeal pancake with peach compote, which supposedly was served limited time only. I had no idea how much this would be as the display didn't show the price but I only opted for one since I didn't want anything too heavy that time. After a 15 min wait, our food arrived. The pancake was actually a good size and glad only ordered one. I was asked if I wanted syrup with my pancake but decided not to get it since it was served with a peach compote. The oatmeal was nice and thick and warm. The compote was okay, it just seemed like they opened a can of sliced peaches and transferred it to a bowl and called it "compote". Aside from that, service was great. Food was good but not the best.

I LOVE flying biscuit! I've been coming here for 20 years since I was in college at Emory. I love that almost all the locations hold up the standard, and this one which is closest to me was fantastic. My server was training someone but was very attentive. My food took a while; I think they made a new batch of grits bc I've never had them come out so so hot, but it made the wait worthwhile. I've never had the stuffed French toast before and it was delicious! Of course the grits were dreamy and the biscuit with the cran-apple jam is heavenly. I take biscuits when I visit friends and will have them when people come to my house. So glad this location is around the corner!

I had a great experience with Sam and Lyndsey. I came in around 45 minutes before closing on a Thursday and the food was still amazing! Sam helped me decide what I wanted to eat and also informed me on the seasonal menu items which I appreciated! I ended up with the Egg-stravaganza based off her recommendation and it was delicious!! Lyndsey was also accommodating, I asked if they had peach sweet tea and she made me a mango one with the syrup they had and it tasted really good. 5 stars, I will definitely be going back.

Granted, that conversation is usually premised on fried chicken vs. rotisserie, but they can definitely hold their own for tender, juicy chicken. You can choose 1/2 or 1/4 chicken options with dark or white meat, but I my go-to is the pulled white meat plate for an easy-to-eat meal. Their house barbecue sauce is great, with just a little sweetness. I'll get the good things out of the way first: the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and they filled my mobile order quickly. But the food I received made me not want to return. I ordered the soup and salad combo. Chicken and rice soup and a house salad with blue cheese dressing. The soup was ok. It did not taste fresh but more like the end of the pot. The broth was oily, the potatoes (unexpected in chicken soup) were all broken up and mushy, the chicken was dry and the ends were rubbery/crispy. I took a couple of bites and just couldn't finish it. It just tasted...old. The salad, the item I was REALLY looking forward to, had wilted lettuce and dirt was still present on most of it. I thought maybe it was just one or two pieces but nope, it was wilted all the way through. And the blue cheese dressing provided, in a pod similar to coffee creamer, had separated and was white cream on the bottom and a layer of oil on the top. Shaking it up didn't even make it better. I thought a bun or roll would have been provided with the meal as the pick-up window attendant asked me if I wanted butter. I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part but it would have been nice. Although my lunch was reasonable priced for the Buckhead area at around $13...I couldn't eat it. I may return in the future and try something they specialize in like rotisserie or chicken tenders but if you can't provide a basic soup/salad combo you should probably just remove it from the menu.

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. Reviews I'd seen online mentioned parking is a bit limited and that the restaurant is frequently busy. However we got very lucky with parking and happened to come in right as someone was leaving. I was sure we would have a wait for a table, which of course would have been fine, but actually we were seated immediately! Which was super nice and unexpected. The atmosphere is bustling but not in a bad way. The restaurant itself is adorable and has a lot of character. It feels like you're having breakfast at an old friend's house. The service was great and our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered a specialty coffee, I believe it was the almond joy cold brew, and it was delicious. I also tried the Hash Bowl, which was a bit underwhelming. It was a *lot* of potatoes compared to the eggs and bacon bits, and there wasn't a lot of seasoning other than the bacon. Would rather recommend one of the other options if you end up visiting. The drinks are good as well, would recommend the matcha latte (not too sweet!) and the French Press coffee.

Our waitress was super friendly, and since it was our first time, she took her time explaining the menu and answering our questions, which we really appreciated. The food was excellent across the board. Everything we ordered was flavorful, and even the sides stood out. I highly recommend the yams and the mac and cheese, both were good. We started with the gumbo, which was tasty and for our mains we had the oxtail and fish. Both were cooked well and full of flavor. The ambiance was another highlight. The vibe was relaxed and cool, with good R&B music playing in the background. This made the whole experience feel enjoyable and laid-back. One thing to note: parking is mandatory valet, but it's tip-based only. Overall, Roc South Cuisine is a great spot with great food, great service, and a solid vibe. Definitely worth checking out.

This was a bit disheartening due to the fact that several of them made complaints during the duration of our wait about how long they were waiting for their food. We were seated after about two minutes of waiting. The hostess + our waitress were both very kind and accommodating being that we had a toddler in our party. The restaurant was mostly empty, but it took more than a while for food and drinks to come out. However when the food did arrive at the table, it was well seasoned, very fresh and the portions were a decent size. I can see this Restaurant being a good pie for girls night out, we didn't order any alcoholic drinks so I can't speak to that but it's the same aesthetic as most Atlanta restaurants. Blue velvet, grass wall and chandelier vibes. Since we went on a weekday at an early time, we didn't have to pay for parking but be mindful that I'm busier day/night there might be a parking fee

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing. The hot sauce was a nice pairing but some spice in the breading/meat would have taken it over the top but this chicken was delicious. No notes.

It made us stop and ask, "what is this place and this absolutely delicious-looking sandwich?!" The rest is history. We ordered yummy fried chicken pieces and a bbq chicken sandwich. It cured our souls. We asked the generous, wonderful lady at the counter about the story of Delilah's: was she a real person, who is she, etc. her answers made us fall in love even more... this is a genuine, family-owned and operated enterprise! We love, love, loved our food and I can't wait to go back and soport again!!! You gotta try it.
