Had them install a wood floor. First they installed the wrong shade. Didn't complain about that and just refinished the older section to match the new one. The job didn't get done in one day because they didn't order enough material plus forgot the separator. So they left my unfinished floor with full adhesive. Of course it dried up. They came back a week later after I called them several times. The dried up adhesive was not scraped off before installing the remainder planks so now some parts of the floor sounds hollow! Some are squeaking. I emailed but all I got was "yes sir" and "I am requesting a work order". All these time without any update. It is now a month since they installed the floor and still have not heard from them. I am having the floor repaired by professionals and sue this company. I don't know how business can get away with things like this. read more

Had Greg come over to give us an estimate. He was one of several who we had come over and he was *by far* the most thorough. We purchased our flooring and T bars through Lumber Liquidators and The Flooring Pros got it all installed in one day! They are certainly not the cheapest, but the quality of work was worth it. I chose Flooring Pros as I liked their Luxury Vinyl Tile samples in Matthews. They referred a sales associate in Pineville-Matt-who came to measure my kitchen, hall and bath and was very pleasant to work with. The installer, Byron, did an excellent job installing the tiles diagonally in the kitchen and hall-and in a "brick" pattern in the bath. The trim was late in coming, and installer Alex, came to put in the thresholds-again-did an excellent job. I had 3 boxes left over from the kitchen installation-which I would have preferred not to have that much extra, but someday I may need it. read more

Loved the sales experience but everything else has been horrible. The flooring has been fine, but the crew doing the tile install has been a nightmare for us. They were careless with their electrical cords (we had a construction meter outside) and ran them out the windows without protecting the trim so we had damage to the new trim that was installed and painted. They just laid their tools on top of fixtures without placing a piece of cardboard or other protection so the new toilet lid was scratched. They laid sheets of heavy cement board to rest on our new siding (luckily no damage from that). They dumped dirty grout water in my neighbors front yard which was terribly upsetting especially since we had not even moved in yet and we had to apologize profusely. The neighbors thought it was paint because is was that think. The crew did this before they came into my house, so that was dirty water from another job. Regardless, they should not be dumping like that. The supervisor was never here and at times, there was no one that spoke English in the crew. When someone from the company came around to see the damage, he could not communicate with anyone on the crew. Not even a month after install, we began to notice grout coming loose and begin falling out in the kitchen, followed by large gaps forming in the bathrooms. This is due to the fact that they did not caulk the corners or the edges of the floor. The supervisor was never able to do a final walk through so that was missed. I have been trying to have this fixed since the work is supposed to be warrantied. After much trouble getting called back I was able to schedule repair but they were a no show and without a phone call. I left a message regarding this and was never called back. Again, after much trouble getting a hold of the scheduler, we get another date. Again, no show and no call. This time, the excuse is that the caulk did not come in so there was no material. I tried to reschedule last week and she said she would call me back by end of day when she found out when the caulk (just simple white caulk, nothing special) would be in. Never got called. I had to leave nasty messages. Thank goodness for Debra, my sales contact because she has been the only one that calls me back and gets these other people to call me back and get the right people involved. Hoping this will all be fixed soon but unfortunately, I cannot recommend the install. read more

The Flooring Pros of Pineville NC - Extremely unprofessional. I give them a ZERO. Our experience has been a complete disaster. From the day of installation we have had nothing but trouble. We paid for an "upgraded memory foam padding." On the day of installation - Arlo the store manager informed us that he was not able to get "the special memory foam pad" we initially ordered. He wanted to give us another "very nice pad", for the same pricing. I told Arlo that we would prefer to have the memory foam padding that we purchased. Now keep in mind the installers are sitting in our driveway and we have moved things out of our house for the install. Somehow, Arlo magically produced the memory foam padding that morning...hmmmm Making a very long and sad customer service experience shorter.... We have had nothing but issues with our carpet and padding, not to mention the repairs that are still unresolved. After 3 months the carpet has matted down so badly that it looks 20 years old, honestly the carpet that we removed looked better than what was newly installed by The Flooring Pros. Arlo was and is very rude.....on the one and only phone conversation my husband had with him (when were were finally able to get him on the phone). Arlo has NOT sent anyone out to inspect our defective carpet and padding, as promised. We actually have a balance due with this company, and you would think that would motivate them to take care of this issue. We had 4 bedrooms, a small loft area, and bonus room carpeted for around 6.5K which is quite high in price...but the "magic memory foam padding" was well worth it...right? But they do have over 3k of our money, and we have defective carpet... perhaps its not worth it to Arlo, the store manager. We have made several attempts to reach out to this company over the last 10 months for a resolution, with no success. I made another attempt today to reach out to The Flooring Pros, and the gal (Lisa) that answered the phone, ask me to update her, again, and stated that she was kind of familiar with our situation, and would have Arlo call us.... I mentioned that if we did not get a call back asap we would be forced to let the BBB handle this matter and that I would post a review. She told me not to threaten her with the BBB......? UNBELIEVEABLE....SIMPLY UNBELIEVEABLE Regretting that we chose this company! read more

Disappointed from beginning to end: 1. Initial sales person seemed knowledgeable and courteous, but she left the company prior to our installation so the company required a second visit, and an additional two weeks, to re-measure. 2. Day of installation, the crew arrived without appropriate tool (stapler). Said they would return whenever a truck became available, but couldn't say when that would be. 3. Later that day, noticed a single plank on the floor in the work area which was the wrong color. Checked the boxes - labeled with the color we chose, but product was different. 4. Company would not acknowledge color difference from photos, but required a visit by their representative. Their representative acknowledged the color name was the same but a four digit numeric code differed between our sample and theirs. This occurred within six weeks of our order. 5. Multiple unreturned or unanswered phone calls were required to schedule delivery of correct product and soonest possible installation was two weeks after the original installation date. 6. Day of promised delivery for new product, received no call. When I called, the job manager was out for the week and no one knew anything about our order - no record of it anywhere! I cancelled the order! This company deserves to go out of business. read more

The sales team was great to work with. I worked with Gregg. He did a very thorough measurement of the house. The showroom had lots of selection too. Much more than most. Installation took longer than expected. Seemed to be communication issues between the sales team and install team. This also lead to some scheduling problems on their end and the waste calculation caused a product order issue too. The installers were very professional and did a great job. I just wish the two groups had worked a little better internally. read more

Worst experience I have ever encountered. Salesperson Rick seemed to be a nice person to work with but after I placed my order he could care less about anything. They aren't professional or courteous enough to keep you informed, even if there are issues arising. My carpet wasn't installed on the day that was promised and I was never even told it wasn't coming. Other flooring I had being installed was cut too short and wouldn't fit the room. Was promised it would be corrected and installed the following week and that doesn't appear to be happening either. The customer service is horrible. If I could cancel, have them tear out everything, and refund my money, I would do it in a heartbeat. I will never deal with this company again, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. I've never went online and posted a negative review until now. I'll be sure to post this same message on every site possible. read more
