We have had mixed success when it comes to finding people to do things around our house - repairs, painting, etc., so while you can find great reviews about a company, that doesn't mean you will always get great success. I searched reviews, got a couple quotes, and ultimately went with CarpetsPlus for a cleaning of our carpets. Alex was very responsive, and it was easy to schedule the appointment. Alex arrived on time and we did a walk through of the area. He set our expectations that he would get our carpets looking better, but not 100% clean with the pet stains we had, and the fact that we had not had our carpets professionally cleaned. While we know we need to replace our carpets, we could only have them cleaned at this time. After 2.5 hours later, Alex was done, and we did another walk through. I was highly impressed with the way things looked. After things dried, the stains were still there (as we expected), but they do not stand out and scream at you like before. Instead, you have to be looking for them. The other areas of the carpet look very clean and I am very impressed with how they look right now. We will definitely do this more regularly as suggested and will not hesitate to book Alex next time. Thanks for the great job and making our carpets look nice as they can be for what they are. We needed our son's carpet cleaned right away, after our dog spent the night with him and had diarrhea all over two rooms - Our son had company coming over the weekend, and needed the smell and stains removed pronto. Carpets Plus was able to come at 4:00 that same day. They were finished by 6 pm. Our son told us that Alex was great to work with and he was thrilled with the results. Since our dog was the one who had made the mess, we paid for the service. But I'll have to say that, at first, I didn't want to hire CarpetsPlus because I thought their price was too high. But once they were able to offer us a senior discount, the price seemed more reasonable, and we gladly hired them. After fostering a pup. I need to get my carpet clean. She did a number to my carpet all around the house.. At first, I used a "gifted" carpet cleaner thru Groupon. But I hated it. Sooo I went on yelp. I requested a quote with Carpets Plus. And he promptly reply. The conversation was easy.. and the time requested was available. He arrived on time. Made a couple of suggestion to help fix what the previous cleaner failed to do.. Pre treated some of the spots that needed a lot of TLC.. He came with his own truck. So I didn't see him dumping the dirty water in the parking lot like the previous cleaner did. Cleaned up after himself and left out quietly. Carpet look great and dry quickly.
