5 Stars Plus Outstanding service in helping pick out some flooring. Very informative. Our installer Jeff Clark was terrific. The one reason I went with them is because Jeff came out to measure and he made me feel comfortable to have him in my house. He was very honest and when he was done gave me an estimate on my tile floors I want done in the futuure read more

We needed to have a small repair on our bedroom carpet. I called Floor Traders and they had me connect with Robert who does a lot of their carpet installing. Not only was Robert able to come out the same day (we were lucky), but the repair was absolutely perfect! Can't even tell where the original problem was. When we are ready to have new carpet installed, we already know who we'll be calling. ;) read more

My husband and I were very cautious when it came to selecting someone to intrust with our home. Wayne Taylor from Floor Traders is one of the gentlemen that came out to measure our floors...you could tell with even the measurements he was going to be very meticulous when it came time to install our new floors. We decided that Wayne and his team was going to install our new floor. Wayne made everything go smoothly. Wayne always listened to any special requests I had and was eager to make sure it was done the way that I wanted. Leaving me a happy and satisfied customer. Believe me I'm very picky. I highly recommend Wayne he's an A+ in my book. Everything was done over and above anything I could have wanted. I will difinitely will request Wayne in any future projects... I highly recommend Wayne and his team. Wayne and his team are is as good as it gets. You could not do any better. I promise. read more

They gave me a great price on the carpet which I wanted they helped me match the color of the old carpet and went out to the house right away and did the measurements. The only thing was they didn't tell me that I had to pay a separate fee to the contractor and only one person was sent to do the installation of the carpets took 2 days to do the entire house. Other then that they did took good care of me and the contractor did a good job installing the carpets. They tried to send in another person to help with the installation but didn't but they did the job good though. read more

So I was tired of my old floors and I wanted new carpet and new laminate put throughout my house. I checked Costco, Lowe's, Home Depot, and another place. All of them quoted me over $10,000 for this job. One of my friends referred me to The Floor Trader. I went there and spoke with James. He was very nice, professional, and very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for. Their price beat the other prices by hundreds of dollars. After selecting the items, we made an appointment for the install to begin. Wayne works for this company and he is the installer. The appointment was for 7 AM and at 6:45 AM, Wayne was waiting outside to get started. The finished product is amazing. I love how everything looks and I have zero complaints. Everything was done right and it was done on time as promised. I even wanted to change something at the beginning of the job and my request was accommodated with no problems at all. I would definitely recommend this company. Very friendly, helpful and just great people. Thanks! read more

These guys are awesome! Prices are very great compared to all the "Big" company flooring companies. (Lumber liquidators, flooring liquidators, etc..) The owner is super nice. He even remembered my name after a week of me coming in and asking a quick question about flooring. Check these guys out if you need flooring or carpet!!! read more

Was out looking for vinyl flooring for a bathroom. When my wife and I walked into The Floor Trader showroom we were totally ignored. Had to literally coax a woman to help us; told her that we needed vinyl for a bathroom and she turned her nose up at us and said, "The vinyl is way in the back." She obviously did not want to help us, and you would have to be an idiot not to sense that, so we told her thank you, and she gleefully went away and we walked out the door. Went instead to Big Foot Carpet in Salida where Jess was friendly, helpful and knew what he was talking about. Will NEVER go back to The Floor Trader. I highly recommend Big Foot Carpet in Salida instead!! read more

In 2012 we bought a 3824 sq ft home. It needed all the carpet upstairs and on the stairs replaced. We shopped around alot and the Floor Traders had by far the best prices. I would have given it a 5 because the service, pricing and value was great but the installers marked scraped side of the wall on each side of each step when they did the stairs. The 2 kids bedrooms we got the same carpet except in different colors. one looked great and niocely padded and the other looked like a much cheaper and padded carpet but it was suppose to be the same. Still we would use them again and very soon read more

I had an almost good experience with floor traders up until it came to our payment. James told me when we were ready to pay for the carpet that I could place the payment over the phone. My hubby called and spoke to James and gave our payment over the phone, I had called about 5 minutes later to give the payment and James said the payment was paid by my husband. Since we are dealing with an insurance claim we have a ton of money going out with baseboards and paint and ect.. We made the appointment to have our carpets installed they came last week. We were waiting for a few things to come in and when they did my husband went to pick them up to be told we never paid for our carpet. The women who helped him said we need to do better book keeping and made the statement she could go on an $800 shopping spree. I don't find money to be a joke. When I made the payment I was told the payment was made and I crossed them off my list of things to be paid. I was not told the payment would be ran later! I was told payment was made, my book keeping wasn't the issue, me taking him at his word was. read more

I purchased flooring for my entire house through Floor Trader, and went with one of their recommended contractors as well. I can't tell you how pleased I am. James at Floor Trader was incredibly thorough and responsive to my every need. He answered all my questions and was on top of every detail. The contractor Wayne was excellent as well. He and his team Rich, Mike and James were professional, installation was quick and painless and they went above and beyond for us. They even helped with installing new toilets and unloading furniture into our new house. I can't thank the entire team enough for such a wonderful experience and I will certainly use them in the future!! read more

Recently had these guys, with Jeff Clark, doing the installation of 1000 sq. ft. of laminated flooring in a mobile home that presents its own problems. The Floor Trader people with Warren, the owner, I believe answering all questions and with absolutely no pressure. Very pleasant to work with. Jeff Clark go's above and beyond expectations with what he does! Excellent and efficient in his work and the men that helped him were also very very good. Pricing for the flooring as well as the installation labor far better than any where else we checked. Thanks for a great job well done! read more
