My car was sideswiped on April 2nd in the parking lot. I spoke to the owner, Mr. Pat Furman, in person on April 3rd in order to review the surveillance tapes but he was too busy. OK. I spoke with Pat on April 4th by phone, but he had not looked at the tapes yet. OK. I left a voicemail on Pat's cell phone on April 7th and have yet to hear back. Not OK. Awful place crowded with a very "special type" that day - no one approached us for seating. A fly by waitress told us "anywheres fine" - on other days I noticed when driving by to work they had customers boozing very early in the day and that concerned me - but either way that evening we decided to drop in. This is a great little tavern with good tavern food. The service was friendly and attentive. We all got the float burger. It sounded good and it was on special...so even better. :) We nearly cleaned up our fries before digging into our burgers since they were tasty crispy fries. It's a very good standard cheeseburger with the usual fixings but the relish spread was of the sweet variety which I'm not a fan of. Cold beer, crispy fries, and a realy good tavern burger that hit the spot so definitely worth the visit. read more

A classic American country bar. Great place to have a few beers, good, solid bar food, and excellent weekend breakfasts, open early for folks who want to get started outdoors. The weekend breakfasts are excellent in my book, with large portions, and fresh ingredients. Coffee was hot and tasty. Service in my case was good, I can see where when this place gets slammed (as it's has the times I've been there) things might get a bit backed up in the kitchen. read more

We just moved here from IN. Met the owner at Home Depot. He was so nice! Told us to come by & check it out. We LOVED it! We went for breakfast. Hubby had the Bigfoot chicken fried steak & eggs. I had the shrimp omelette. Both came with either home fries or hashbrowns. We got the hash browns. Choice of toast or biscuit. Hubby got sourdough & I got rye. It was great, but we saw the biscuits & they looked delicious & were huge! Going to get them next time! Everything was FABULOUS & the portions were huge!! I could only eat half. This was my first time visiting the floatation device they played country music and had sports playing , everyone's nice. Overall I would say this is a top place to visit in Port Orchard. If you want to have fun and be merry this is the best place to be in PO. read more

Nothing super special about the place but they have always had good service, a cozy homey feel & offer family seating so that's always a plus with the kiddos when we're all wanting a bite to eat. The bad servers/bartenders are gone now, YEAH! Somehow they've found a way to speed up breakfast with they're little kitchen (although you'll still have a little wait between 8:30 -10, it's the busiest time). I'm increasing my rating from 3 to 4 in the neighborhood pub category. read more

Very disappointing. I have been here multiple times and have had to send my meal back multiple times. I only ask that it please be hot...or warm...cold eggs, cold hashbrowns, cold toast (and tnis was after it was sent back) sorry the worse. However, the mimosa was awesome! read more

This place used to be a favorite of my wife and I, and we could be described as "regulars". Good food, excellent beer selection, and good service was the rule. Unfortunately, our experiences there the last two months have soured us completely as the service has fallen off drastically. A little dive bar that I have come to LOVE! This is my friends go-to place so she had to bring me here. Tavern setting-pull tabs-pool, roomy. I've only stopped in after 730 and left before 10, fast and great customer service. Good, strong drinks. I've tried the chili cheese tator tots, potato skins, float burger, mozz sticks - all so yummy and hits the spot! I saw they had pizza and salads too. Outdoor seating. This place used to be tweeker central. Very uncomfortable. But now that it has changed ownership it is so much better. It is a very fun place to go and people watch. The staff is funny and down to earth and they seem to have a lot of fun there. It's a good laid back, casual kind of place you don't go in and not smile or laugh. read more

Portions are huge and good...but avoid this place for breakfast if you want to eat before lunch. We just waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for breakfast, and when we asked if our meal was even cooking.. we were told we were the next ticket up. We left. Another table left just before us as well...for the same reason. It's not like they were swamped either, 6 waitress' were working..they had about 3 tables a piece (being a former Waitress, I notice these kind of things). Im not sure what the hold up was...maybe they only have a toaster oven & a 1'x1' grill. I have had lunch and dinner there as well. The food was good, lunch came at a reasonable time...dinner took a little longer than it should have but wasnt so long of a wait i walked out! This is a classic tavern-bar...pull tabs and all. Great collection of old outboard motors on the wall by the pool table. Several big screen tv's on the walls. I have been there maybe 6 times in the past 2 years. Always I have found the people working there very friendly and easy going. The bar food I would rate "above average". We stopped in the other Sunday and watched the end of the Mariners/49'ers game and had a pitcher of beer and an order of exceptional deep fried mushrooms that was more than enough for 3 of us. I have had breakfast once on a Sunday morning....again, I would say above average. Prices are very reasonable. I have only been there during morning/daytime hours. Not sure what it looks like on a Saturday night but I saw that they have live music occassionally. Wished I lived closer. read more

This is a great spot! When you walk in the walls are covered in old boat motors hanging from all over the place. The staff is great and the people are also. The owner Pat, is a great guy, who really cares about the customers. The food is awesome, and the karaoke is even better. This was the best bar I found while living on the remote KPS. We would go in on Fridays typically in the evening. The pizza is solid. They also give a lot of stuff away during football season. read more

I've been to the Float three times now. I've always heard good things so when I was getting my car serviced next door, I decided to stop in. The prices are good, the portions are enormous and the staff has been very friendly each time and I never have to ask for my coffee cup to be refilled. The employees seem to be on a first name basis with half of their customers which says a lot about them, letting you know they have a loyal bunch of regulars. read more

Ridiculous wait time for breakfast. By the time we got our food it was lunch time we went in at 9 am the place was not that crowded got our food at 1130. Great place for what it is. Good beer selection, ok spirits selection. Had breakfast, omelette was on point, hash browns were tasty but the biscuit left a little to be desired.
