We enjoyed ourselves at the Flint.

We had a blast. Was our first time at the Flint. We will be back!! Food and service were great.

Visited here on our first trip to Albany for a wedding. It was within walking distance from our hotel and we were really hungry after a 3 hour drive from Atlanta. The staff was very nice and our waiter was very friendly, nice and accommodating. Seemed to be a pretty popular place to have some food or also celebrate. The food was delicious and as this would be the only time we would be here we tried as much as we could: the ribeye, oxtails, cornbread, and mac n cheese. All very tasty and well seasoned. Also, they had Sir Davis whiskey that has been pretty hard to find in our state of Arizona. Overall great place and would come back again!

Fried Catfish, Fries

What an amazing find! Out on a date night in Albany and tried The Flint out and we were blown away! I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye medium rare which truly rivaled a lot of great high dollar steaks I have ever had. I had a salad with ranch and baked Mac n cheese as sides and they were both excellent. The lady ordered Fried Catfish which she also loved. The sweet tea was fantastic and was plenty sweet for the true sweet tea lovers of the world! Service was excellent! I truly don't know how this place isn't packed nightly. Best restaurant by far in Albany and one of if not the best restaurant I have had in the state of Georgia!

Fried Catfish

The food was fresh and delicious. The fried catfish was fried to perfection. The band was amazing. Overall awesome time celebrating my 40th Deltaversary at The Flint!! We will be back.!!!

OMG! This place is amazing! They won the restaurant of the year! The fried green tomatoes, shrimp stir fry, creamed spinach was amazing!!!!

Side salad with house vinaigrette

Great food!!! Not big on entrees at restaurants usually, so I got the appetizer "E" wings and a side salad with their house vinaigrette. Both super yummy!!! The dressing for the salad had a very bright flavor albeit just a little salty. I wasn't super hungry, so this well portioned salad honestly would've been enough, but I also ordered the "E" wings which were delicious. I don't know what the E sauce is but it was good - no spice at all, more of a sweeter taste if you're into that. We did wait a very long time between ordering our drinks and receiving them, same for the food, but I understand things happen. The music was the right volume and the waitresses all had cheerful attitudes which was appreciated amongst our large group. Others in the group ordered burgers, oxtails, and the roasted chicken, and everything looked fantastic. If I'm in town again, I will definitely revisit and try something else on the menu!

I had been looking forward to going here for awhile but when I come to town we always end up elsewhere. The service was good everyone was friendly...but the food was not good. I had the chicken and dressing with greens...the dressing was salty and had no other flavor and the chicken was hard...the greens were okish. Presentation was great...taste...not so much...but definitely try it for yourself

Beautiful atmosphere with old charm meets new decor. Service was quick and attentive. The food was pretty good. A little under seasoned but still good. My husband got the grilled peach glazed pork chop with baked potato and salad. You could definitely taste the grilled flavor, could use more seasoning though. The peaches were a nice complement. I got the chicken Alfredo. I do not prefer penne pasta, however the sauce was a good consistency but could use more flavor. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the toast points were a nice touch. We shared the pecan tart. It was just a piece of pecan pie with a tiny scoop of ice cream on the side with a caramel drizzle. Call it what it is.... Pie.

We're from out of town and discovered this gem while looking around the area we were visiting. Been there a few times since for dinner, which is always delicious. We happened to be in town for their first Saturday of the month brunch, and let me tell you, it is not to be missed. Everything is outstanding! Cooked to perfection. The djay is fabulous and the vibe is wonderful. Highly recommend a visit. Wish they had the djay on Friday and Saturday nights. Would be a hit for sure!

Ribeye (med-rare), Caesar salad (not pictured), Gouda cheese grits and a bottle of Caymus.

Ribeye (med-rare), Gouda cheese grits and a bottle of Caymus. Great dining experience, the food, waitstaff and owners were top-notch. Highly recommend if you're passing through Albany.

Spacious and delicious!

The Flint is Albany's newest restaurant downtown. The oxtails, lamb chops, and peach cheesecake were all my favorite! Great fine dining!

Anything Vegan in this restaurant?

Yes! Me and my husband actually spoke to the chef and he had a beyond burger patty that he put together for us. If it's not on the menu I think you just ask for it and he'll have it ready for you. He was super nice about it and ready to attend to… Read more

We were passing through Albany for the night and remembered we enjoyed a Cheddar's in another city,…read moreso we decided to stop by. Service was fast and kind. We started with the Wisconsin Cheese Bites which were SO good. Basically like normal Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, except bite sized. Probably my favorite thing about the visit! I got the New Orleans Pasta and my husband ordered the Country Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and red beans and rice. My pasta was really good, but the sausage kinda got to me after a few bites. You ever try something and it's fine at first, but the more you eat it, you're like, "ummm, maybe not..."? My husband loved the chicken, but was disappointed to see the red beans and rice had bell peppers and onions in it. I tried them myself and ehh, they weren't the best. Maybe we had Popeye's red beans and rice as the expectation. Still, overall a good experience and we'd definitely go back.

Had lunch at Cheddars while in town. Our server was very pleasant. At times, it took a while for…read moreher to get items to us, but she had a big party to attend to as well, so we were patient and didn't mind the wait too much. We started the meal with the Spinach Dip (and chips), along with mouth-watering honey butter croissants (YUM!!!). The three stars represent issues with our order. Me and one of my sisters had the Salmon entree, with two veggies. The portions for the veggies seemed to be more fit for a kid's meal than an adult meal. I said as much to the server. She apologized for the meager helping of green beans and provided a decent portion. My other sister had the New Orleans pasta. My father ordered a steak - medium rare. However, the steak he received was very rare! We tried to get him to return it, but he didn't want to cause any problems and decided to just eat the steak as is. Really, the food should be cooked/served as ordered and expected. Aside from these issues, the pasta dish was good, the Salmon was good, and the veggies were tasty as well. I will probably return at another time and hopefully, we will have a better experience in terms of receiving adult veggie portions and our food exactly as ordered.
