Coleslaw

Grabbed some food from here for takeout after work and I am so thankful I ordered from here! I kept going back and forth on the menu but ended up getting the fried fish with shrimp combo. It came with three sides and a corn muffin, which was incredible! I got the mac salad, coleslaw, and french fries to make it close to that traditional fish fry meal. I got the Flaming Fish style breading on the fish and the shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. Better than any other fish fry I have had in Buffalo. The mac salad was good and had some good spices in it. The coleslaw stole the show with how good it was. And let's not forget about the jalapeno cornmeal muffin, that was so good! The service here is quick and friendly. Everyone was super happy to help me with my order. The vibe is so nice in here. It has the downtown, upscale vibe, but also feels cozy and friendly. I will definitely be coming back for more or finding their food truck soon!

Located on Main Street, right across from the Hyatt, this long narrow restaurant did not disappoint. They originally were a food truck so, they obviously are doing something right to graduate to a brick and mortar location. The hours were a little different than what was posted and they don't seem to be open for lunches anymore. We were there early and were welcomed and seated promptly. They offer beer and wine only, which is fine. We decided to split the fried green tomatoes which were crisp and served with a spicy remoulade that complimented them nicely. My sister had the pasta Magnolia which was shrimp, lobster, crawfish , mussels and crab tossed in a creamy scampi sauce over fettuccine. I opted for the Lexington. Cajun baked haddock with shrimp over rice with broccoli and a spinach Parmesan sauce. Both entrees were very tasty and certainly a generous portion. Our server was great. Very personable and knew we were out having fun. He joked and bantered with us making the experience even more memorable. I wish the establishment good luck but, if they continue with good food and service, everything else will fall into place.

With fast and friendly service I received the fish fry.It was a hot, huge piece of haddock beer battered and crispy. For my two sides i choose the hush puppies and the mac and cheese both were delish.Lots of seafood dishes on the menu.Excellent service but not many tables, so get here early especially on a sports game night. Can't wait to return, hopefully not so stuffed so I can try some of the amazing desserts.

Give yourself some extra time if dinning on a sabres/bandits game night. As there are not a lot of tables, but it's definitely worth the wait. With speedy service and a smile I received my fish fry.An enormous piece of haddock with yams and garlic mashed potatoes as my sides.Everything was hot and delicious. Our server was amazing and I hope I won't be so stuffed when I return so I can try some of the scrumptious desserts on the menu.

The establishment boasts an exceptional location and an inviting and comfortable interior. The food was exceptional, and our waiter exhibited remarkable energy and attentiveness. The portions are generously sized, allowing for leftovers to be enjoyed the following evening at home. It was our first visit. I was thoroughly impressed and intend to return. I am eager to share my positive experience. Visit, Buffalo be our guest website for discount certificates

Great location for when you going to the theater district , we went to sheas and walked to flaming fish! Nice comfy place with amazing food! We started with the best I've ever had gumbo, rich, very flavorful with two full shrimps, pieces of sausage, amazing! Then we shared the seafood dip, WOW never had such an amazing, unique , delicious dip with large chunks of seafood and a very cheesy dip, it was out of this world!!! I had a perfectly cooked, good portion of a butterflied trout! The wife had the fish and shrimp combo which she loved. Very cheerful, friendly service!!! Absolutely will return especially for the gumbo and dip!

This place is awesome !!! I was so impressed with everything from start to finish. The service was great the owner came over to talk to us and the server was great too. The server had some great recommendations with an awesome service very knowledgeable and excited about the food. The food was soooo delicious and everything on the menu sounded great. I can't wait to come back to try more. I ordered the seafood fries and tacos with mango salsa. Which was all very delicious. The ambiance was very relaxing and inviting. Wonderful relaxing music with high backed booth chairs to insure privacy and relaxation while eating.

WOW...The only word I could say trying this new brick and mortar restaurant that started as a food truck apparently. I have done countless reviews and I am struggling to put into words how amazing our experience was. Fresh, clean, comfortable dining area. Parking in the city is a little difficult but well worth it for this place. Service was great, Dee was our server. Food was AMAZING, portions were huge, prices were very reasonable. I got the Haddock fish fry with Buffalo Lemon Pepper sauce, fries, Cole slaw, and Baked mac and cheese. Fish was great, fries were seasoned perfectly, Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were out of this world. Wife had the Bahama Mama tacos. She loved them. She said best cole slaw she's ever had and I can't disagree. You absolutely need to give this place a try...

We were at the Yelp event last night. It was very well attended. Such a nice variety of food. Fish and fish tacos and very tasty quesadillas. I was unable to try everything but everyone appeared to enjoy all of it. We stayed for the full night. A server brought out a few platters of quesadillas and dished them out around the room. The room looked great with tabletops having an interesting wet look. Thanks to everybody that helped to make this event possible.

This is the amazing food y'all, and this was my dates order,y'all see dem red beans/ rice in the back, yep that was part of his meal as well

The food is on point, the waiter D is absolutely hands down the best server,so tip him accordingly,he's gonna make sure you are well taken care of,from my first visit there,on a quiet Saturday afternoon,I was the only patron there for at least 2 hrs,and D made me feel like I was on vacay somewhere, and he was my personal server, the ambiance, the music blaring softly( Frankie Beverly), the food, reasonably priced, and the portions were very substantial. I returned again for the Katt Williams show, this time with a friend, because I had bragged about this place,my date enjoyed it as well,we had a slight disagreement with personnel, but the grace of God knew I didn't want to write them off,so for about 2 wks,I made contact with the owner,Shonell Johnson, and he did what a great business person would do,he immediately resolved the issue. So needless to say,I have been back ,and plan on returning very soon, who wants to join me.

The bar/restaurant sits in a decent part of the East Side, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The place has that classic, old-school Polish Buffalo vibe -- salty, worn-in, and full of character. We ordered the breaded fish, beer-battered fish, and one of each pierogi. The fish dinners came with potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and rye bread. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was the best version of itself I've ever had. Cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. What a hidden gem. Oh, and $3 pints of Labatt Blue to wash it all down? Perfect. Next time we're in Buffalo, we're coming back.

Fun. The menu is pretty big for a bar, a mix of regular bar food and a bunch of other options. Our waitress was really friendly and told me the French onion soup is one of their popular items, so that got me excited. It came out fast and it was pretty good. The croutons were honestly my favorite part, super seasoned and actually had flavor. This was only my second time having French onion soup though and I'm still on the fence... it felt like it was missing something, or maybe I just don't get the hype yet lol My friend got the chicken broccoli alfredo and I got the cajun chicken linguine. The portions are HUGE, like you're definitely not leaving hungry. She said hers didn't have much flavor even after adding salt and pepper and was already planning how she was going to fix it at home. My chicken was a little burnt so it was dry and kind of messed with the flavor, but the pasta itself was good. I loved that they added a little bread to soak up the sauce. The huge portions made up for the bland flavors. Not even gonna lie, a few bites in my stomach said "absolutely not" which is no fault of theirs, 100% on me for going all in on dairy, so my friend ended up taking both meals home. Overall I'd recommend it if you like a bar vibe, big portions, and solid food. 8.3/10

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it even more enjoyable. I ordered fried calamari along with single chicken wings tossed in an Asian sweet and spicy sauce--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The combination of crispy textures and bold flavors really stood out. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and truly great at her job. She made us feel welcome from the start. I always enjoy trying new places, and this visit did not disappoint. If you're looking for an American restaurant near Niagara Falls, this is definitely worth trying. We ended the meal with a delicious dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to a great experience.
