I am very upset by the rude behavior that I got from the service man who called me roughly 3 days after I called in asking for questions about expenses for a job like this the girl told me over the phone that it would be $225 just to look at the job and I said unless the wall is ripped open, how can you see the job now you would think her reply to that would be well. We use cameras but no, she didn't say anything like that. She also didn't say that the $225 would apply towards the job and now this guy calls me and says that I upset her that I was rude to her and I'm just trying to see how I can afford to pay these people to do the job and again she never said they use cameras when they come out. I was entirely open to hiring these people why it is they couldn't just have a conversation with me and explain to me the camera system instead of blaming me for having done something. I mean, let's say the worst case scenario I was having a bad day and I was less than adorable to her since she didn't tell me anything about the camera system and she was so fixated on the $225 that I had to pay with no promise of anything. How am I the consumer the bad guy clearly you'd be better off having no knowledge of anything not being an inquisitive person, not asking questions that are within your rights, but there are simple answers to like that they have cameras but no if you do that, you're gonna upset the lady on the other end and then you're gonna get scolded by her boss three days later on a perfectly beautiful day . It's ironic that he told me I was being rude when he was more rude to me on the phone then I think I've ever been treated by anybody including the insurance agent in India that had no answers for me. My business is almost always entirely on the phone so first impressions are important. People need to listen to each other and I listen for details and that girl said nothing about cameras, which would've completely put me at ease, but now I'm the bad guy so unless this boss of hers is open to the idea of bettering themselves figuring out a way for his employee to not get upset by innocent questions Then I don't know the answer. I am extremely sad. The idea that someone I've never met or a business I've never worked with can have such an effect on me to have me write this review just to prepare the next person to have a tougher skin than myself. If after now this business is upset with me I will only say that I'm a forgiving person, and I will presume that we all are just having a tough time this morning and I would still as of yet be open to them doing the service for me I don't hold grudges, but there are two sides to every story, right . I would happily change my rating if there is any sort of resolve and I'm not blamed for everything. I'm a real estate broker and we just had a home inspection that found a leak in the chimney of a A framed home in the Bend Area of Red Bluff. Tanner was here at scheduled time and was very personable.Tanner cleaned my free standing stove and took precautions to eliminate excessive dust from entering my family room. I had several questions regarding how to use my stove more effectively which he happily answered. He was knowledgeable and helpful and I appreciated him taking the time to explain each of my questions thoroughly. Tanner also scoped the fireplace after he was done and supplied a report with photos to my email address allowing a visual of work completed. I'm very satisfied with the work and will ask "The Fire Place" back again next year. We bought a pellet stove several years ago from a place in Redding. Have had NOTHING but problems with it. Started working with a place here in Red Bluff to get it fixed. The person we were working with no longer worked there and they gave us the name of the company they now use, The Fire Place (530)999-5444 and they came within 3 days of the call. We have had our wood stove for 18 years. It had never been professionally cleaned or inspected. Tanner came out and completely cleaned my stove, exhaust pipes and the floor around the hearth. Phil does a great job cleaning our woodstove chimney, even on a horribly hot day! Despite the messy nature of the work, he has never left my house dirty. We are very comfortable having him in our home. He also is either a dog lover or exceptionally patient (or both), because my German Shepherd barks at him the whole time and he does not seem to mind.
