The technicians between Redding and Chico did a fantastic job in meeting our needs in a timely manner and a fair price. The office manger was able to coordinate with me the appointment times and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend this company. I had been calling since Oct 2018 to get them scheduled to come and service our fire extinguisher which have needed service now since Dec 2018- Gregg, the service tech, was completely rude. Rain and snow were the excuse then. After the winter, I called again and Gregg said he'd come out no later than April. Now, it is July 9, and still no call or word from Wilgus. I finally call the main # and get a very nice man, Craig, who had Gregg call me. He had every excuse in the book and made it seem like it was all too inconvenient to come out to BB unless he had more than 1 client. In the past, we understood that and he serviced us, the school and psea camps all at once. So, now, his excuse was the school is closed for the summer and he can't get ahold of the secretary, so he was going to charge us $150 an hour for the service call, since it was just us who are asking for the service. Now mind you, we.live in the forest in NOR CAL, where fires are a serious threat. To top it all off, Gregg hung up on me. You'd think they'd care. so so so disappointed. Craig did call me back and magically had a tech that was willing to come out the very next day. hmmmmm... (no $150 service fee, as Gregg, obviously pulled that figure out of his ass) . THEY LOST OUR BUSINESS. I opted to call Foothill Fire Protection and they immediately scheduled me for next week. I asked about the service call fee and they have none. They charge per extinguisher. BEWARE OF GREGG AT WILGUS. NOT A NICE MAN.

I paid (about sixty bucks) and was on my way! Excellent customer service, efficient work, and I am glad we chose to stick with the same company that we originally started with, even though it's a bit of a drive for me. I highly recommend them for all your fire extinguisher needs.
