They gave me an amazing estimate and once I signed on the dotted line they came, set up, did all the work, and cleaned up after only a week! What I loved is that they arrived on time every day, didn't stand around wasting time, didn't leave the job site for extended periods of time, brought their own portapotty, were friendly and respectful to our family, considerate of my kids (one of whom has severe special needs), explained what they were doing in a thorough but not condescending way, and they cleaned up every day after that day's work. Best of all was the quality of work. I'm no expert but I can tell when construction work is bad and I'm being BS'ed versus when it's good. And Clean Slate's work was very good. On another order I asked to have new bathroom viny, floor installer tells sales person they're is nothing wrong with the floor Denise, suggested a different idea for laundry rm.?! In fact the Bath lanolin had been water damaged, discolored, bubbling by toilet and when ripped up subfloor a wax ring needed replaced. I still continue to use Factory Flooring until the owner didn't like it when I I complained that installer wouldn't put old cleaned carpet in storage there, Installer saw a rattlesnake hissing earlier when retrieving materials for job there, he reused to put old carpet in covered storage so it was put in back of a truck. . I agreed too. Hers the topper he took left over laminate and key to storage, and Denise sales asked me what I want to do with it? Well since Factory Flooring is well aware I live in LA and Denise would hold key and laminate, That is when I said I don't want this guy installing my flooring on the next install, that was being placed. That is when Factory Flooring told me "lets part ways". Denise returned left over laminate and key at vacant home. Thank you Denise! I hired Clint to remodel my master bathroom and kitchen. I was taken advantage of and overcharged,…read morethe shower pan was installed incorrectly so it did not drain properly. He actually told me well, you can use a "squeegie" to make the water go down the drain!!!. The shower door was put on wrong and leaks all over the bathroom floor. The tile on the floor of the shower was the wrong type so had to be completely replaced, as well as the shower drain problem had to be fixed. The grout job was a sloppy mess. Attached are pictures of his finished grout work. He charges top prices but does shoddy, sloppy work. He asked to be paid ahead and then wouldn't show up to work. I ended up having to let him go and hire experienced professional contractors to finish my kitchen remodel and pay additional contractors to fix his mistakes and unprofessional work He is not as experienced as he tells you. I have had to spend way more to correct his unsatisfactory work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. He will take advantage of you if he can, especially elderly people and will ask for money ahead and then not show up for days at a time. If I could give minus stars I would.
