During summer, this place is a top spot. The council keeps the beach clean and in order even…read morethrough the chaos of hundreds of people going here daily when the summer peaks. The beach is beautiful and is nice for long walks. I generally go from the jetty to the Port Noarlunga rivermouth. Swimming is nice and the ocean always glistens beautifully in the sunlight like some kind of heavenly beach. Going on a walk through the sand dunes (on designated paths) is also a great experience and you can see a lot of different fauna. The top of Witton Bluff also gives you a great look out over the ocean and there is really nothing better than sitting in the sun enjoying some fish and chips from the fish and chip shop down the road. Can't wait for summer again but then again, the weather we are having at the moment ain't that bad.

Port Noarlunga is a great local beach which all the younger teens seem to love to congregate at…read more Most of the kids from the area will do aquatics at Port Noalunga at some stage in their school years anyway so they become familiar with it then, if not before. It's a great beach with a lot of great local shops nearby. It is always patrolled between the flags by surf lifesavers who do a fantastic job all year round. It is also more often patrolled by a helicopter for shark sightings nowadays, especially in peak summer periods. Another initiative to try make our beaches safer. My kids love the sand bar that forms making it easy for the kids to go so far out but actually still be able to stand up.
