I strung a set of lights around the not working ones. Last year the rest of the lights on that set went out. Puled the extra sting to make it look OK. This year another set stop working half way in the string. My last tree was from Walmart and lasted 14 years with zero problems! I replaced it with this and it was still working fine just figured it was time. Never again will I buy this trash. The only thing worse then the product is the customer service.

The balls we bought from Balsam Hill are way too heavy and make the limbs drop. We also used some of our other ornaments that are not extremely heavy, with the same drop issue. Spent a lot of time trying to position ornaments where they would not weigh down the limbs. Totally took the fun out of decorating which we have never experienced when putting up a Christmas tree. Way too much space between the branches, no matter how much you fluff. Also bought a multi-lit tree. The lights do not flash on and off. We have been trying to find a flasher, but a lot of the brands, specifically state, will not work with Balsam Hill. What is that about? Will live with it this year, but it was not worth the money. Wish we had done more research. We would not buy again.

    Broad Ripple

I stopped by Foundry 317 during a recent jaunt through Broad Ripple during unseasonably warm temps…read more I parked my car and just enjoyed wheeling around the area for a bit. Foundry 317 is along the canal right on Westfield Boulevard. Foundry 317 focuses on home decor and furniture. I clearly arrived right at the tail-end of the holiday season and a good number of the items either had a holiday theme or fit within the holiday season. Items included antiques, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, festive accents, candles, and other overall housing items. Foundry 317 has a parking lot, though I was actually wheeling there. There's a small ramp up to the sidewalk if you approach it from the right (facing Foundry 317). The doorway is pretty workable and I found the interior to be surprisingly accessible (though I will admit I was taking extra caution given some of the prices!). As I was wheeling, I knew it was pretty unlikely I'd actually buy anything on this visit as it would have been difficult to carry back to my car. However, I definitely saw some items I loved and can easily see myself returning in the near future. The employee I encountered was friendly, the environment was warm and inviting, and I really loved some of the smaller items. I'm a candle freak and definitely would like to return for those. I've always found this section of Westfield Blvd. a little hit-and-miss. The sidewalk is kind of cracked and it's somewhat uneven, however, there's much to love here and I loved the efforts toward accessibility. This is definitely a little gem. I'd seen it before, however, I've never been by when they were open. I finally got the chance to visit, and I'm definitely impressed. I'll be back.

Inhabit is a modern design enthusiast's dream!…read more This large, beautiful space is located in the soon-to-be hopping Coal Yard shopping district of Irvington. Here you will find a sprawling showroom filled with mid-century inspired sofas and credenzas, unique lamps and accent pieces, and locally-made wall flats, lighting and bedding that are produced onsite. This is definitely not a Value City Furniture or Home Goods, so don't come here expecting to spend less than a pretty penny, but the items they offer are stylish and comfy to boot. At the very least, it's a great place to stop in to gain inspiration for your own home; the showroom pieces rotate frequently. And it's always a plus in my book to celebrate local business!

Worst experience ever and have not been able to get a hold of a manager. Bed frame and headboard…read morewas supposed to arrive in 3-4 weeks. It took 3 months. I went and picked it up, the people working were clearly both under the influence. When I got home and opened it up it was the completely wrong bed. I called and told them and they said I needed to bring it back and pick up the other one. "Its your fault for not checking before you left". After continual calls and complaining the manager agreed to have it shipped. (I never spoke directly with a manager as he refused to call me back.) When it was delivered they scuffed the wall in 8 different places and not just minor scuffs. (Pictures to prove) They come off as a big company but do not do business with them. They are a small local store that doesn't give a crap about their customers. Maybe someday a manager will have the guts to call and explain the situation

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! The Location on E. Washington St. - Salesman Andrew Bledsoe…read more Me and my Wife was very happy when we left the store last night, We had been waiting all year to get our tax check and purchase a new sofa for our Living room. We Paid $725 cash, However today After paying a friend $20 to borrow his pick up truck so I could go pick it up from the warehouse over on Franklin Road, I got the Box home (The sofa was packaged up) and started assembling it and we realized THEY HAD LOADED UP THE WRONG SOFA in the truck!! It's looks like what we ordered except it is a 3 seat sofa and much longer, not to mention it didn't have the center console with cup holders and built in power outlet / USB cell phone chargers. ( We paid for a "Love Seat" with the center console) which we had been very excited about getting. When we walked in the store they had EXACTLY what we had longed been wanting In our home all year. However we got stuck with this couch they mistakenly had loaded up! I called and talked to the salesmen Andrew Bledsoe and of course informed me that Not only would they NOT give us any of our money back if we kept this couch (that we didn't want) but they also would not Deliver the Correct sofa we had originally paid $725 for or schedule a pick up for the couch we had brought home. Yet he made sure that we new about there $50 delivery they provide if needed the night before prior to receiving our $725. This company has delivery, yet won't deliver the correct couch we had paid for. It was basically either keep the couch that THERE COMPANY mistakenly loaded up in our truck, or we had to VERY INCONVENIENTLY box this thing all back up and lug it back to the warehouse because of there mistake!. I will NEVER do business with this place again. Matthew Bryan.
