It was a large project! We live in a neighborhood of 1.5M+ homes and were haggled and up charged by other vendors ..our advice, save the headache with other companies and just call Guardian. Their knowledge, skill, precision, punctuality and customer service is top notch. From the beginning to the end of the project they have guided us and have done an immaculate job. We had dark cherry woods to work with and wanted to tone down the color but also allow it to flow with our dark staircase and blend into the new. They aided in finding a match that coordinated and flowed without taking away from the home. It's rare to find the tenacity and quality this company exudes. Typically everything is subcontracted out with most companies which is not the case with Guardian. The owners are hands on and invested in the project just as much their team is. And an added bonus they have a veteran on the team!

They sanded, stained, and put the final coat on those old hardwood floors. They made those 157 year old floors look practically brand new!!

We had already decided that we wanted waterproof Luxury Vinyl Plank and we had already decided on the brand. However, before we purchased, I spoke with a friend at work and shared my displeasure with the lack of help that I received as my husband and I shopped. My coworker referred us to Blakley's and told us to look for Dar. My coworker said that Dar would take care of us. Dar lived up to her reputation! I did not think that Dar would want to bother with us because we wanted to install the flooring ourselves, but she was extremely helpful. We ended up purchasing the flooring from Blakley's. It took less than two week for us to receive the materials. The staff placed the flooring, quarter round, and transition pieces in our vehicle. I am glad that we purchased from Blakley's. They not only gave us better customer service, but also a better price than Prosource, the store from which we were originally going to purchase our flooring. I would recommend Blakley's if you are looking to purchase any flooring.

I had worked with Tish previously when buying our house as the carpet needed replaced. Our timeline…read morewas tight as we wanted to get it all laid before the movers started bringing all our "stuff". The carpet chosen was pet protect with a 20 year warranty - as long as we had proof of a professional cleaning every 18 months. Unfortunately, it appeared we got a bad lot from Mohawk and the carpet did not allow for stain removal as the guarantee had stated. I worked with Tish (who worked with Mohawk) and it was agreed it was, in fact, a faulty lot - which happens with carpet thru no ones fault - so all the carpet qualified for replacement. In the midst of planning the replacement, my roof had a substantial leak so needed that to get replaced. Following the roof replacement, the ceilings would need work in several rooms - including one being completely replaced - due to the large leak and subsequent damage. As we were nearing Winter - and life events in general - the timeline for the carpet kept getting pushed back as I wanted the ceiling work done prior to the carpet install to avoid damage/dust to brand new carpet. Tish worked with me and, even though it was an inconvenience to them, at a minimum, to continue to store the carpet, etc, they also continued to push their timeline back. Additionally, my parents live with me and my Mom has Alzheimers. Tish made certain their crew would arrive (during both days of install) once my Mom was at daycare to ensure they didn't agitate, upset or disturb her. They also made sure the area my parents live in was completed first so there was no possible disruption in the event my Mom might come home early from daycare. It is so rare to find anyone willing to accommodate all the needs that were (unintentionally) requested but Tish went out of their way to do so! In fact, Michael at Tish was the one who was considerate enough to ask when my Mom would be home so they could work around her schedule. On top of that, the warranty process was made as simple as possible by Tish and I now have a house full of brand new, pet protect carpet that cost me nothing this time around. The dogs have already tested it for me and so far, I feel good this isn't another bad lot :)
