We thought it was time to get the Chimny swept so we called and scheduled a service date. Their technician came out. He was very nice and polite and after about a half hour, he came up and told us he's never worked on one of these inserts before and did not know how to do it and he'd have to reschedule. We rescheduled and he came back a second time, he took the Fireplace all apart, went up on the roof and put his tool down the chimney after about 20 minutes. He came back and said he's got some bad news. He got his tool And he could not get it unstuck he'd have to come back. He left the fireplace and all of the parts laying around, but we did we rescheduled for a third time, this time the manager came out. He was also very nice and polite. He got the tool unstuck. And put everything back together. I'm not sure I would recommend the Fireplace Center, at least for a Chimny Sweep

Karl took the time to ask a lot of questions about what we wanted, and was very thorough with explaining everything. After the lights were installed Karl was sure to keep in contact with us to make sure everything was exactly what we expected and there were no issues.

I have made several purchases through Everyday Paint and Wallpaper and have had wonderful…read moreexperiences with this business. The owner is particularly knowledgeable and has been very helpful when searching for the right product for each job. I have always preferred to use Benjamin Moore paints, but also appreciate being able to get qualified advice from an experienced professional. This is something just that can't be found at the big box stores. About two years ago I refinished my kitchen cabinets and painted my home's exterior. The gutters were covered in mildew and the kitchen cabinets had been hastily painted by the prior owner with cheap paint and had numerous finishing defects. The owner advised me on surface prep and recommended excellent products, including a paint that would minimize the need for multiple coats on my exterior. He even custom tinted a recommended primer (which wasn't a Benjamin Moore product, surprisingly) for my cabinets. Two years later, in a home with a young child, both paint jobs still look as good as they did on day one. I highly recommend them and will be buying all of my paints here.

My wife and I moved back to Indianapolis from Burlington, VT in 2014. Eventually we bought a house…read more- an old house. That old house needed some sprucing up. When it came to painting, we happened upon Everyday Paint and Wallpaper. This place is stashed away next to Ace Hardware at the corner of Westfield and 86th. They sell paint and wallpaper and the supplies to work with paint and wallpaper. That's it. So, they know a lot about it. We have walls with oil paint on them. A basement with brick. Our exterior is painted. Everything we talked to them about, they knew the best way to attack it. I have been painting my house (wherever that house may be) for many, many years and I thought I knew it all. But, when I talked to these people, they showed me that there was still much to learn. Need to paint or wallpaper? Go to the Indiana experts! Go to Everyday Paint & Wallpaper. (Independently Owned and Operated since 1979 - which is way cool.)

There was a competitor supply store right around the corner from my house, but they were quoting twice the cost of the switch ($14.25 at central supply). So I drove 30 min to the east side (I live on the west side of Indy) because they had been friendly on the phone and it was half price compared to the other store near me. Once I arrived, I quickly found the parts counter and was somewhat unprepared to order as I was unsure what I needed. I had snapped several photos of my pressure switch/tank to help me. That's when one of the regular plumbers (who was ordering parts also) looked at my pics and totally helped me order all that I needed to do the job. While we waited for our orders to get picked from the warehouse, I continued to learn more about pressure switches from the nice plumber who had ordered my parts for me. The staff and patrons were friendly, and very helpful. I was able to also purchase the wires I needed as well as a new pressure gauge because they have both plumbing and electrical supplies. Total bill : $27.38. Competition : $32.50 for just the pressure switch. I will definitely come back for my next plumbing/electrical needs. Thanks, everyone, for your help - it was a success made easy because of you.
