They even quoted us a price that was half the cost of a leading competitor. When they showed up, my wife said they seemed polite and professional. She's overall happy with the job they did, how quickly they got done, and how they spoke to her to her face. However, she didn't think she'd have to pick up after them, and was angry about hearing a loud, politically charged speakerphone call involving one of the techs that had highly offensive and obscene language. When she said something to the supervisor, he stated he would say something to the other tech about it. My wife says she'd use them again. However, I will need to be convinced. read more

This business is very responsive. I contacted them through Yelp and got a response within a day. I had a lot of work to do and they got it all done. My electrician was prompt and on time for my appointment. He was very nice and friendly. They charge by the hour and not by the job or jobs, which is somewhat of the industry standard, but I am still not a fan of because of the possibility of working slower than you can (not claiming this was the case with my job). I had a light installed above my tub, 2 lighting fixtures moved, a bathroom exhaust fan replaced and a switch added for ceiling fans in 2 rooms. It took about 8 hours to complete (and that was with me doing parts runs and the clean up). They got everything done and it works like i want it. I will say though that their were a few imperfections after each job was completed, such as over cutting on the exhaust fan install and on switch box installs. I had spackle them to cover them up. One of the holes for an outlet box was also cut slightly too large, but the electrician was able to make it work. All in all, I was glad to get all the work done in one trip. They are a decent full service electric service. I would put them in the mix for my next electrical job. read more

I needed a dedicated electrical line to my electric fireplace. Kelob arrived on time . We talked over the project which included crawling in the crawl space , working out how to bring a line to the panel. He had to replace the metal box and drive the line up to the main panel. In addition he replaced one light fixture, finished up an outlet installation, and replaced my outdoor outlet. We hired David Electric Service to install LED can lights in the ceiling of our great room and sun room. Their estimator was very thorough and offered suggestions on the project. Our great room has a vaulted ceiling so we chose the wafer LED lighting with built in gimbals that allowed the light to shine directly down rather than at the angle of the ceiling. The work was scheduled about 5 days from the day we were given the estimate. The crew of 5 showed up at 8am this morning and completed the job (including cleanup) by 2pm. They were very professional and efficient. We are extremely pleased with the work they did. We will use them again and would definitely recommend them for your electrical projects. David Electric was at my home replacing two receptacles in my house, troubleshoot a dead outlet on one wall of garage and add two weatherproof outlets to outside of garage. Pretty simple project for a pro, as the added outlets were to be fed from existing back-to-back outlet inside of garage with wood siding and no obstacles. Tech arrived @ 10:40am Receptacles in house took only 20 minutes. Once we went to the garage the tech took 2hr trying to find a problem with dead outlet with no completion. I asked him to just disconnect and cap off. He then explained he had no parts to complete the additional outlets and would need to go to Lowes. He returned 1 1/2hr later and began work. I explained to him that I had to leave promtly at 4pm. Tech stated no problem. At quarter till 4pm the Tech stated he wouldn't be able to finish, and I would need to reschedule. He then said he needed to collect for the day and parts. Upon receiving the $797.00 dollar amount I asked if he deducted for the time he was at Lowes. The Tech stated that he did not, and I owed the full amount. I have never paid for any contractors' time to leave and go get parts. I told the Tech that was BULL#*() and would not use them ever again. I handed the Tech my check and asked for my receipt. He stated it would be E-Mailed to me. More BULL....... A day later I had to call and ask for the receipt. This company has lost my business for good!!!! Anyone know a good Electrician to finish my added outlets? UGH! read more

I had a neutral wire loose in the control box. I had diagnosed a loose neutral wire, but could not find one in any of the switches on the circuit. Within a few minutes Kaleb determined that the problem was a loose neutral wire and found it in the circuit breaker box. I sent them a Yelp message requesting a quote to run new electric line in the basement, and quickly received a response to call them. After discussing on the phone, we were able to schedule an appointment for a couple days later. Based on the information I gave on the phone, they were able to give a realistic quote. My service tech was very friendly and personable. He walked me through everything he did, and answered any questions. He wore a mask the entire time, kept a safe distance, and came prepared with supplies to complete the job. One negative is the Company bills on total time, so if you don't give them detailed information when scheduling the appointment, they will come to your house, see what has to be done/supplies needed, then go to the store, purchase items, and come back. This entire time will be billed to you. Luckily I was specific (told many feet from the junction box I needed the new outlet and amp required), so he came with the supplies needed and finished the job quickly! Otherwise I'm sure the bill for additional time would've been significantly more; especially if you don't live near a hardware store. Just a tip when booking your service! I set up an appointment with a second company ( Mr Quick) who never showed up at the scheduled time. When I called them, they had decided to reschedule my appointment without speaking with me.
