I have called on David for multiple projects and they've always been a treat. Caleb fixed a number of issues in my house - and was informative. punctual, and effective. We also enjoyed a great conversation and incident feel like I was slowing him down. 5 stars for sure. read more

Caleb came to troubleshoot a pesky intermittent short circuit in our kitchen and fix our back porch floodlights. He ended up finding the root cause and fixing everything in about 2 hours. The whole while he was explaining everything he was thinking through and made sure I understood the implications on cost. I had a great experience that was confidence inspiring. Soon after I booked a second job with David Electric to install some shop lighting in my basement. Thank you! read more

We hired them because our lights had been flickering and they recommended we replace a breaker panel and install a service cut-off. They even quoted us a price that was half the cost of a leading competitor. When they showed up, my wife said they seemed polite and professional. She's overall happy with the job they did, how quickly they got done, and how they spoke to her to her face. However, she didn't think she'd have to pick up after them, and was angry about hearing a loud, politically charged speakerphone call involving one of the techs that had highly offensive and obscene language. When she said something to the supervisor, he stated he would say something to the other tech about it. My wife says she'd use them again. However, I will need to be convinced. read more

We had such a positive experience with David Electric. First and foremost, communication was smooth and timely. Our assigned electrician, Caleb, did a tremendous job in explaining what he was doing and educating us in the process. We ended up having some patio electric work corrected along with adding new lighting to our basement. He also did a great job of cleaning up after the project. Overall, a positive experience. We would definitely hire them again. read more

Great communication & excellent service! My go-to for all of my electrical needs! Thank you!

Great experience. I definitely recommend them. I had a weird electrical problem that involved a light switch and a few random outlets. Sam was friendly, knowledgably, professional and he got results. The price was a nice surprise as well. No hidden add on charges, Im a very happy customer. read more

This business is very responsive. I contacted them through Yelp and got a response within a day. I had a lot of work to do and they got it all done. My electrician was prompt and on time for my appointment. He was very nice and friendly. They charge by the hour and not by the job or jobs, which is somewhat of the industry standard, but I am still not a fan of because of the possibility of working slower than you can (not claiming this was the case with my job). I had a light installed above my tub, 2 lighting fixtures moved, a bathroom exhaust fan replaced and a switch added for ceiling fans in 2 rooms. It took about 8 hours to complete (and that was with me doing parts runs and the clean up). They got everything done and it works like i want it. I will say though that their were a few imperfections after each job was completed, such as over cutting on the exhaust fan install and on switch box installs. I had spackle them to cover them up. One of the holes for an outlet box was also cut slightly too large, but the electrician was able to make it work. All in all, I was glad to get all the work done in one trip. They are a decent full service electric service. I would put them in the mix for my next electrical job. read more

This was my second time using David Electric. I was so impressed with my first experience, I immediately call them again. Caleb came to troubleshoot an issue with several plugs that went dead. He ended up finding the root cause and took the time to explain it all to me and what my options were before proceeding. He was polite, professional, and even arrived early (but not before he called first to see if it would be OK). I'm a total fan of this company and would highly recommend them. read more

Sebastian was punctual and cleanly. Real easy guy to work with. Go the job done quick, will use again.

We hired David Electric Service to install LED can lights in the ceiling of our great room and sun room. Their estimator was very thorough and offered suggestions on the project. Our great room has a vaulted ceiling so we chose the wafer LED lighting with built in gimbals that allowed the light to shine directly down rather than at the angle of the ceiling. The work was scheduled about 5 days from the day we were given the estimate. The crew of 5 showed up at 8am this morning and completed the job (including cleanup) by 2pm. They were very professional and efficient. We are extremely pleased with the work they did. We will use them again and would definitely recommend them for your electrical projects. I needed a dedicated electrical line to my electric fireplace. Kelob arrived on time . We talked over the project which included crawling in the crawl space , working out how to bring a line to the panel. He had to replace the metal box and drive the line up to the main panel. In addition he replaced one light fixture, finished up an outlet installation, and replaced my outdoor outlet. He was very good and accomplished a lot during the 5 hours he was at my house.I highly recommend him at David Electric. read more

Installed kitchen light with pull chain. The service was efficient, I should have been better prepared for work in the area. I was not expecting the cost to be so high. But everything cost more these days! read more

David Electric was at my home replacing two receptacles in my house, troubleshoot a dead outlet on one wall of garage and add two weatherproof outlets to outside of garage. Pretty simple project for a pro, as the added outlets were to be fed from existing back-to-back outlet inside of garage with wood siding and no obstacles. Tech arrived @ 10:40am Receptacles in house took only 20 minutes. Once we went to the garage the tech took 2hr trying to find a problem with dead outlet with no completion. I asked him to just disconnect and cap off. He then explained he had no parts to complete the additional outlets and would need to go to Lowes. He returned 1 1/2hr later and began work. I explained to him that I had to leave promtly at 4pm. Tech stated no problem. At quarter till 4pm the Tech stated he wouldn't be able to finish, and I would need to reschedule. He then said he needed to collect for the day and parts. Upon receiving the $797.00 dollar amount I asked if he deducted for the time he was at Lowes. The Tech stated that he did not, and I owed the full amount. I have never paid for any contractors' time to leave and go get parts. I told the Tech that was BULL#*() and would not use them ever again. I handed the Tech my check and asked for my receipt. He stated it would be E-Mailed to me. More BULL....... A day later I had to call and ask for the receipt. This company has lost my business for good!!!! Anyone know a good Electrician to finish my added outlets? UGH! read more

Nick Hendricks came to my house to investigate and fix two bathroom switches and a ceiling fan and wall outlet that weren't working in my living room. He quickly fixed everything I was having problems with. He is very professional. He clearly answered my questions. (I do not have electrical knowledge.) In the future if I need electrician assistance I will definitely contact David Electric. read more

I hired David Electric to install a new panel, prep for a generator, and troubleshoot some circuits. The panel was replaced cleanly, generator hookup fully installed, and Jose even finished the lighting circuit I was working on. All in all the job cost about what we expected, did more than we expected, and came in lower than some other quotes. I would absolutely use them again! read more

Most importantly, they kept commitments, from the estimate to the actual service. Communication was easy. The job was done well. Caleb, the service tech, worked hard, and explained what was going on throughout the process. The job involved some trenching to run a line, and the dirt was replaced so that you hardly can tell. He cleaned up after the job as well. read more

I was a little apprehensive initially when I was told that they would use time and materials to determine the cost of my project. Unfortunately, my wiring was old and did not even survive the initial exam with crumbling wires. There was a suggestion made, which I initially rejected. I now believe that it was a good suggestion. I had a neutral wire loose in the control box. I had diagnosed a loose neutral wire, but could not find one in any of the switches on the circuit. Called and got the following estimates. They wouldn't come out to check the work you need done to give a more accurate quote unfortunately. $1000+ to install 3x outlets $150 first hour, then $100 after that. I was told they're not able to work on my project since it's a smaller project. read more

My house had little to no overhead lighting in the kitchen, living room, dinning room, and master bedroom. After talking to several electrical companies, I discovered David Electric. The second I talked to the office I knew I was is good hands. Caleb and Nick were sent over to solve my problem. Once they arrived we discussed what I envisioned. With their knowledge and expertise they completely went above and beyond my original vision. From replacing existing fixtures, outlets, and switches to installing several new overhead led lights, David Electric did an incredible job. Do yourself a favor and stop scrolling through reviews. Great company employees were very kind and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them

I sent them a Yelp message requesting a quote to run new electric line in the basement, and quickly received a response to call them. After discussing on the phone, we were able to schedule an appointment for a couple days later. Based on the information I gave on the phone, they were able to give a realistic quote. My service tech was very friendly and personable. He walked me through everything he did, and answered any questions. He wore a mask the entire time, kept a safe distance, and came prepared with supplies to complete the job. One negative is the Company bills on total time, so if you don't give them detailed information when scheduling the appointment, they will come to your house, see what has to be done/supplies needed, then go to the store, purchase items, and come back. This entire time will be billed to you. Luckily I was specific (told many feet from the junction box I needed the new outlet and amp required), so he came with the supplies needed and finished the job quickly! Otherwise I'm sure the bill for additional time would've been significantly more; especially if you don't live near a hardware store. Just a tip when booking your service! Quick, efficient, and good local business, I would recommend. read more

Had a problem with outlets & lights in our kitchen. The first company we called ( Frye Electric) could not fit us in for 2 weeks. I set up an appointment with a second company ( Mr Quick) who never showed up at the scheduled time. When I called them, they had decided to reschedule my appointment without speaking with me. I call David Electric they sent a gentleman over within 30 minutes and he fixed all of our issues in 1 hour. I am sorry I did not get his name to give him credit. He was fantastic. We have scheduled them to do more work at our house in 2 weeks. Great service! read more

David Electric came highly recommended by friends and their initial quote via email was very reasonable. They scheduled two techs to come replace a ceiling fan in a vaulted ceiling, and they were both very professional. They even called me the morning of the job to tell me they would be about 10 minutes due to traffic. Very much appreciated given how difficult it can be to get service providers to arrive on time or at all. They finished the job in a little over an hour. Great experience overall. read more
