The steak was rubbery--cooked on the outside but red and underdone in the middle. The hash browns were mostly burnt and inedible. The sausage was unevenly cooked--one side was brown, the other side was burnt and crispy. His eggs were just okay, and the drink was fine. I ordered the chicken fried chicken plate. The pancakes were two different sizes--one was burnt and left a bitter taste in my mouth for over 30 minutes. The chicken had no flavor at all and was soaked in greasy oil that tasted like it had been reused to fry fish and everything else. My eggs were inconsistent--one almost over hard, the other closer to over medium. What made it worse is that no one even asked how the food was. Normally, when we pay, they ask. I was waiting, because I was ready to be honest--it was disgusting. We won't be returning for breakfast if she is cooking. I've been here before and the food was good, but I don't know what happened today. Actually, I do--it was the cook. All orders looked and smelled AMAZING!! I'm visiting from Phoenix otherwise, I'd eat here OFTEN. The food was so good, I literally used my bread to sop up any remaining sauce. No shame(Lol).
