You guys really took care of us actually I have to give a big shout out to everybody that was working on 7-15-2025 was amazing.. i'm allergic to seed oil so they were very accommodating and didn't put any oils on what I ordered, I had a half pound of shrimp, boiled corn, boiled potato and crab legs. More bad then good, but I would go back. First off the peeled shrimp and corn was great. Second, the boudin balls were good, but didn't taste like boudin to me. The location is clean and service is friendly. I ordered the peeled slap daddy special, but the crab wasn't peeled as pictured. When I asked about the problem I was told only the blue crab comes peeled? Then what is up with the posted picture of the peeled slap daddy, which I am pretty sure shows peeled snow crab, even though the meat is huge, in the picture? Very disappointing, I would not have ordered that being on special or not...hate cracking snow crab. The potato was good, but a little undercooked. My friend got the gumbo and what started out looking great, quickly changed. Almost no soup whatsoever in this gumbo and the taste is off. He even complained of it making his stomach feel off, but I ate some and no issue except for it not being a gumbo and tasting weird. If I am ever back in town I will try them again, but overall my opinion is that it is not Cajun enough. And just to remind you, the peeled shrimp were great! I eat a lot of crawfish and this is hands down at the VERY TOP of my list of places that actually do crawfish right! I got 3 lbs of crawfish for $7.99/lb!! You can't beat that. My bf got the chicken, fries and boudain balls. The only item that was flavorless were the boudain balls. We came twice within 48hrs and I will say that the 1st time the crawfish didnt have seasoning on the outside and the 2nd time it did so that was inconsistent. I have been twice it is very good. They have a main room where you order and the fountain drinks are. You order there and have a buzzer to notify when your food is ready. I enjoyed the red beans and ice and a Cajun fish dish w sausage and shrimp on my first visit. I had a shrimp and snow crab plate my second visit. We went to a second room that had a view of the deck and pond area. There is another room when busy. They have a lot next door in case it is busy for more parking. There is seating out on the deck. The fried mushrooms and fried gator were yummy! It is a casual and peaceful feel to the restaurant. They also do NOT accept tips at all. Will be returning soon. read more

The food here in my opinion is mediocre. I got the crab bucket and the crab was very hard to get out and stuck to the shell and they want to use a plastic fork to get it out. It was not easy at all and it didn't taste that great after all that work. The service was almost nonexistent really. Just a person that takes your order at the register and then you do all the rest of the work yourself. It's pretty expensive for doing all the work yourself in my opinion. The saving grace of this place is that the back patio scenery although a bit dirty is really beautiful with fountains and turtles and ducks and just very pretty to sit back here. I gave it two Stars because the back patio is beautiful but I probably won't come back here. I forgot to add that when you open up the Styrofoam that they give you the food in there is about 1/2"inch thick of butter poured over everything. read more

I took out from this place a good while ago, but someone that I was with suggested it for dinner. So, we actually ate at the restaurant. Really large place with seating in multiple locations, including an enclosed patio on the night we went there. Line was only about six or so people in front of us but it did not move quickly. Turns out the person at the register was new. Everybody has to learn at sometime, and I'm just passing that on for explanation, not criticism. The menu is extensive and they have different specials on different days. We were a party of three and ordered a 2 pound snow crab bucket, an order of grilled shrimp, an order of alligator tails, an order of crawfish tails, and a lobster tail, along with some beignets for dessert. Normally I would be more descriptive, but suffice it to say that everything was delicious, and I would order all of these things again. I thought it was good value for the price, quantity, and taste of the food I know it might sound odd to go to a fish place and say this, but the potatoes were fantastic! Also liked the fried alligator, as it's usually served in small cubes and this was more like chicken fingers. The sauce that went with the alligator was also very tasty. The grilled shrimp were very good also and worth a special mention. The beignets were served hot and were soft and perfect! I'm a long time customer, but I will not be returning after my most recent experience. Very discourteous customer service from the moment we ordered our food with the cashier who seemed to be bothered by my presence. No greeting when I walked up and no thank you after I ordered. I chalked up the interaction to the employee having a bad night, moved on and found a seat. When I was called up to get my food I handed the pager to the employee at the counter. He took it, pointed to tray of food that was mine and then turned around. I could possibly understand this curt behavior if they were busy and he was rushed (they were not at all busy), but it seemed more of the same discourteous/unprofessional vibe I got from the cashier. I took my overpriced food to the table and soon noticed that I needed some crab crackers. I asked for crab crackers at the counter, wad handed some, said thank you and again am not answered. I asked if there was a manager working. The employee quickly answered "no" and turned around. They didn't ask if there was anything wrong or if there was anything that they could help me with. I always like to give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt before posting a negative review so I emailed Tejun to let them know about my experience. I wasn't trying to solicit an apology or get free food coupons, I was hoping to reach out to at least one person who works for this business that cares that a customer of theirs was made to feel less than valued in their restaurant. The lack of a response to my email only leads me to assume that whoever is responsible for reading and responding to critical emails cares about as much as the rude employees I encountered two nights ago. Is it possible that my expectations of customer service or just common courtesy in general have become too high for today's time? Was my first time here i was VERY excited, im not from texas so i didnt know what seafood place would be the best, my lyft driver on the way actually suggested killer crab and said tejun he heard was salty? I'm a little sad there are signs everywhere that say they don't accept tipping! It's late in the season so we weren't expecting to find crawfish, but Te'jun had em so we went to get em! I asked if they were live or frozen, and the college kid behind the counter responds, "they're already cooked." *awkward, blank, confused stares on both sides* I clarified, "I mean before cooking them," and another college kid chimes in, "I'm pretty sure they were live." Either way we wanted em so frozen or live, we ordered 5 pounds of the bugs, along with sausage, corn and potatoes. We found a nice spot on the huge outdoor deck overlooking a pond filled with turtles and a fake gator and before we could park our keisters, our buzzer went off signaling the food was ready. Well, he DID say they were already cooked! These crawfish were cooked perfectly, Cajun style. None of that buttery goop we so often get with Viet-Cajun crawfish in Houston. The only complaint was there were so many babies in the bunch! But this complaint is weak because it's late in the season so it's really time to stop serving crawfish (unless they're frozen.) This spot is definitely for crawfish lovers. Their crawfish are damn good size. You get about 10 per lb! Which is not a lot but packed full of meat!! It's delicious and their seasoning is on point!!! Their shrimp feels like they were those frozen ones that are small and doesn't have heads on it, I'm definitely not a fan!
