But what makes a difference is that everyone still had a smile on their face no matter how overwhelmed they may have felt! We've never received anything BUT great service. The food is delicious and came out fairly quickly considering it was a busy Saturday. We talked with the owner who's owned the place for the last 8 years and they try hard to preserve the restaurant. He shared that the bar top stools were the original nickel stools, they had the original coffee machines and the original grill/stovetop. Their goal is to make updates to the restaurant while still keeping some of the history, which I feel is really special.

Certain things weren't even available on the menu in this place is fairly new. The menu isn't even that big. The food wasn't terrible, but there was nothing that would bring me back either. The thing that turned me off, the most was as I was sitting at the picnic tables, homeless people were coming up to use their restrooms accessible from the street (since there's no indoor seating). This of course is not the restaurant's fault and it's very unfortunate but also un appetizing. This woman was in there, practically the whole time we were seated to eat. We also noticed people would just drive up and try to use the restroom and wasn't even patronizing the restaurant. I really hate it when I have to grab a key from a gas station when I'm on the road so I wouldn't want that to be happening at a restaurant where multiple people are touching keys after wiping their ass but something has to be done about people who are not customers using the restroom. I'd say a key code or something can be printed on every receipt. If the smartlock on my Airbnb's are changed with each new guest. Then the restaurant can come up with something like this as well.
