Great shop for all types of sweet treats in downtown Pensacola! Tried three flavors of their ice cream (chocolate raspberry, pistachio, and graham central station) and it was super creamy and flavorful! Loved how they included plenty of mix ins in each flavor such as chocolate, graham crackers, and cookie bits. Highly recommend trying the Graham central station flavor! Big portions of ice cream too!! Also tons of candies, desserts, and drinks too. Nice outdoor street side and indoor seating to enjoy your treats. read more

Go Bubba go! He's as good at sweets as he is golf! Awesome spot! Got the ice cream and a few other chocolates so good!

Purchased half lb of the chocolate fudge and quarter lb of the red velvet fudge. Both fudges had very soft texture and tasted like frosting. Not my style of fudge. read more

Great ice cream! Super tasty every time. They also have a lot of other confectionery and candy available. Service is fast and quick. Slim to no seating. Definitely not enough for large groups. Brightly lit and inviting space. Space is clean and well kept. No parking lot. Street parking only. read more

Good service. Nice people. And a good location. I only tried the ice cream and it was good, not great. But the serving size was pretty decent. read more

Such a cute little spot in downtown Pensacola. If you're craving any kind of sweet treat, Bubba's Sweet Spot will most likely have it. Our five-year old chose the milk chocolate covered marshmallows and I tried a little piece-so good! I had a small piece of fudge which was okay. My husband got some lemon sorbet; it was very lemony and tart. I think the best was the chocolate marshmallow. Great option for an after dinner treat. read more

We were on vacation last month in Pensacola and decided to walk to the downtown area. We love Pensacola and the small little shops like Bubbas Sweet Spot. There is a small sitting area when you walk in and a narrow area to order and view the sweets. They have everything you might want from Jelly Belly jellybeans (all flavors) to ice cream to macarons .... Well everything! The staff was so nice and efficient!!! My daughter got a giant caramel apple which took her 20 mins to eat - it's vacation so let's get our SUGAR ON!!!! read more

Ice cream is amazing, but the service is awful. The manager, Christa, is very disrespectful. I was inside ordering (I was the only customer there, by the way), and the employee took my order and started making my strawberry milkshake. This employee was very polite and had a great conversation with me. Midway through our conversation, Christa approached and said, word for word, 'Not to be rude, but can you hurry up and leave? You're distracting my employees.' I find this uncalled for; I would never ask a customer to leave for talking with an employee while their order is being prepared. Friendly conversation is good for customer service, and it wasn't affecting anyone, as I was the only customer. Overall bad experience! read more

Sunday - August 8, 2021 - 3:30pm Orders were Butter Pecan Ice Cream on a Sugar Cone, Mint Moose Tracks on a Sugar Cone, Midnight Peanut Butter Marshmallow on a Cake Cone, 2 Vanilla Ice Creams one on a Cake Cone and one on a Sugar Cone. Absolutely delicious and very friendly staff. I highly recommend making a stop to this cute little dessert bar in downtown Pensacola. Sadly we didn't have enough room for their other many confections of chocolate. No fear. We'll be back. read more

LOVE this place!! It is actually cheaper than Marble Slab and Wild Honey and we thought it would be expensive because of the name. It is affordable for a family treat! This is not just an ice cream shop. This is a sweets shop with ice cream, chocolate, and the works. Come downtown and gotta get it. The Grand Central station is the bomb. This is as good as Graeters with better options for no -ice cream. read more

I don't usually write yelp reviews, I actually downloaded the app to write this, but this was one of the best food service experiences I've ever had. I have deadly food allergies to dairy eggs and tree nuts, and when my friends and I went into this shop I was not expecting to be able to order anything. However, I was met with the brightest attitude from Jackson, Lowry, and Lorena who went out of their way to accommodate and recommend CHOCOLATE vegan ice cream (which is rare to find in a shop) and made us all leave with a smile. I didn't even have to ask about getting a fresh carton or scoop to avoid cross contamination, they just did it. My friends and I haven't stopped talking about it since we left. "I want to raise my sons to be like these men" - my friend Love you guys!!! read more

Bubbas Sweet Spot - Peanut butter, cookie dough, caramel ice cream - Candy Stores Near Me - Pensacola, Florida

This is definitely an upscale dessert/candy shop in downtown Pensacola off Palafox street with homemade fudge, chocolate, candy, and gourmet ice cream. Everything in there, from the bagged candy, to the delicious desserts on display, to the ice cream look excellent. For a family, it's definitely not the least expensive place to go, so watch the prices, but the price matches the location right at Palafox next to a restaurant like Jackson's and almost on the corner of Main Street. I'd recommend it for an ice cream cone after dinner at a restaurant downtown, or after walking and enjoying the area. Locally owned pushes it to the five stars. If I had a recommendation I'd encourage a few more low cost items for large families. They have chairs outside for seating on a nice Pensacola evening to enjoy your dessert. read more

We stopped in for ice cream on our last day in Pensacola. Our server was quite friendly. We ordered locally made craft ice cream. I had the raspberry cream and my daughter had strawberry balsamic. They were equally good, but the bill came to $7.50 for 2 single scoops. I'm not sure that I will pay that much for ice cream in the future but it was a much needed treat for a warm Florida day!! read more

The place is lined up with customers and three of the four help are standing around talking to themselves. The fourth guy is helping a customer with ice cream. Bubba you need to deal with the employees!!!! OMG the chocolate selection is incredible. My favorite is the chocolate covered espresso beans. They had chocolate covered everything including candied pineapple slices. The Carmel apples looked delicious. And all that fudge!!! Truly it's a chocolataholics paradise. They also sold a selection of ice cream for those hot summer days. I did not get to see it since the line was too long. The only problems I saw was the size of the customer area. There was barely enough room for two people to pass each other. read more

Bubba's is a cute little candy and ice cream shop. Got a scoop on a cone and got the mondo scoop, courtesy of the gentleman behind the counter! Very kind! Will certainly return. Great little spot for a date night--or if you just want something sweet while strolling up and down Palafox! read more

This place is dangerous. Wall to wall candy, fudge, candy apples, ice cream and more! Yeah, I could never work here- I'd eat the inventory. We were wandering downtown when we came upon this cute little shop and decided to pop in. What a delight! They have candy all along the wall that you can mix and match and they also have a wide selection of homemade candies and they even have samples! The samples of the fudge I tried were really good- soft and not overly sweet. David decided to get some fudge and I kept it simple with a chocolate and M&M covered pretzel. My treat was really fresh and tasty. This adorable shop is worth checking out, if you're in the area. The staff is friendly and there's a wide selection of goodies. read more

Exactly what one might expect for a celebrity endorsed/owned sweet shop in the heart of a downtown: delicious, super tasty treats with high prices to match. This is a once in a blue moon or rarer treat for my family due to the difficulty in finding nearby parking and high prices. Staff is super friendly. read more

I got ice cream when we visited back in July 2023. It was amazing! Some of the best ice cream ever. It was also very reasonable. Two very large scoops in a waffle cone for between $6-7 (sorry I can't remember exact price). They had so much to offer with candy, fudge, cookies, and ice cream. The people working were very nice and it wasn't very crowded. We took ours to go, though. There isn't a lot of seating inside and it was way too hot to eat ice cream outside. I really want to go back if we are ever in Pensacola again! read more

We used Bubba's Sweet Spot for a wedding. Eric helped us and did an amazing job! He had 100 strawberries dipped in white chocolate and dark chocolate; then drizzled each one with a different colored chocolate. They were beautiful and delicious! Just walked in. Nobody behind the counter. Waited 5 minutes and left. Will try one of the other ice cream shops downtown.

This place is a rip off. The "homemade" candies are old. We bought over a hundred dollars worth of stuff and they crammed it all into one tiny bag and then expected a tip. No.. how about you offer fresh stuff instead of what's been sitting for weeks on end and give me a couple bags instead of crushing everything into one bag and then you might get a tip. Won't be back. read more

The wait was pretty long for an ice cream shop. But when I did get my ice cream it was very good. I got an old fashioned ice cream cone with rainbow sprinkles. The ice cream was nice and thick but the cone was a little crumbly. It was a little pricey but cheaper than the place on the peir which is like 5 minutes down the road. It was a cramped space and we were packed in pretty tight but I guess everyone wanted ice cream on a hot Florida day. read more
