I was seated in the middle of the bar with customers on both sides of me. My server took my drink and food order, and after that, she never returned to check on me. I watched her walk past me several times while attending to the customers directly to my left and right. Not once did she ask how my food was, whether I needed another drink, a box, or my check. Eventually, another server noticed my frustration and asked if I needed anything. I told him I needed a box and my check and explained that my server had never returned to check on me. His response was, "We are all working the bar." That response was unnecessary and dismissive. If everyone was working the bar, it makes it even more confusing that I sat there for so long without anyone checking on me. A simple, "I'm sorry about that. Let me take care of you," would have been the appropriate response. I understand restaurants get busy, and I don't expect perfection. However, basic attentiveness and customer service should be expected, especially when a customer is sitting directly at the bar. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing.

We tried both the Buckingham Palace tea and the Lavender tea, and both were flavorful and refreshing. It's clear that the owner, who is from England, brings an authentic touch to the experience, making it truly reminiscent of a traditional UK afternoon tea. I can't think of a better place for afternoon tea and will definitely be back! Highly recommend! Just an fyi reservations for afternoon tea must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and you can only make a modifications 24 hours in advance to your reservation as well. although they are closed Monday through Wednesday, I was still able to make modifications to my Thursday reservation by email, which can be found on their website.
