We noticed this cute little shop when we went out to eat at the Burrow. So glad we brought the kids back to try it out. It is in an old hospital building with beautiful architecture. The inside is decorated so cute and clean. The staff were absolutely amazing and knowledgeable and let us try samples. I had the Belgium chocolate and pistachio- both with amazing flavor- the pistachio was spot on. My kids had mint chocolate chip and Bischoff cookie butter and both loved it. My husband tried a few sorbets and thought they were great. The waffle cookie on top was so crunchy and good! We will definitely be back.

I love this gelato/coffee shop! The gelato is very creamy and the espresso was amazing!! I sampled multiple flavors and I liked the salted caramel the most! Located in the old Sacred Heart Hospital! Definitely worth going to! Prices were cheap!! Probably one of the better ice cream places in town!

The Ice cream was the bomb! Service was great and the atmosphere cozy! I really can't say anything but it's a great little ice cream shop with a great product. If ever in East Hill on a date night and looking for a great way to end the evening this is it!

How lucky are the citizens of Pensacola...the only real gelato I have had in the US. Amazing...better than a lot of the gelato in Italy. The Florentine cream is so beautifully balanced and perfect. The pistachio a real symphony. Homemade cones that border on stroopwaffles. I thought that some serious culinary genius was at hand and read later it is owned by a sommelier and a Michelin chef. It all makes sense now. The panini's are amazing as well. Thank you for creating such delicious beauty!

My favorite Gelato that I've ever had! They have many different flavors for whatever you're craving, and they always keep you coming back with new seasonal flavors. The gelato here always has perfectly balanced flavors and that smooth, creamy texture that you like for. The staff is always very kind and provides service with a smile every time and they also give out free samples if you want to try the flavors. It's located in an old hospital building right next to A Mano Panino, which is the best sandwich shop in all of Pensacola! I'm addicted.

Hidden gem! The prices of their coffee are the best in town. I really appreciated this! The ambiance is decorated so nice and the ladies working were absolutely lovely. There was a decent sized line for gelato when we arrived and they didn't make us feel rushed. You have to check this place out! We rode our bikes from our air bnb down the street. & There's multiple restaurants and cool spots attached to this historical building. Such a great find!!

Yum! Pretty good gelato, but what I really love was the set up of Lamonte. It's in a very unassuming building through a tiny doorway, but is decorated beautifully! The best part was the sweet wafer cone they put on top. Delicious to scoop the gelato with! I will probably get a cone vs. a cup next time so I can get more of that wafer. I would love to come back and try the coffee (they had a HUGE coffee menu / selection) and sandwich. It's definitely worth a try if you're nearby.

Cute little ice cream joint. Gets busy on weekends but open late which is nice. The gelato is good. They have some strange flavors that I tried but didn't enjoy. The gelato is smooth, not super sweet. The cones are good and seem to be made in house (no paper and glue to ruin a good cone)

Delicious, creamy gelato in a variety of flavors that you've never tasted before in Pensacola. They have tea, coffee and espresso which means they make AFFOGATOS! When I passed on the affogato because it was a bit late in the day Ashley offered to make it decaf. As we were there people just piled on in and everyone had the same reaction we did when they took the first bite. Tastes like pure heaven!

Sweet Victory at Yumm Twister & Ice Cream!…read more After an epic dinner at Pho-Mo (seriously, go there), my sweet tooth started throwing a tantrum. Lucky for me, right next door was Yumm Twister & Ice Cream, just waiting to save the day! I strolled in, had a nice little chat with the server (because ice cream decisions are serious business), and what did I land on? A milkshake. Because honestly--who doesn't crave a creamy milkshake while cruising on a Harley? Yeah, I did it. And yes, I had a drink holder... safety first, friends. My flavor of choice? Salted Caramel Pretzel. Sweet, salty, crunchy--basically a party in a cup. Do yourself a favor and order it; your taste buds will send you a thank-you card. Meanwhile, my better half went for a sophisticated gelato cone (because she's classy like that). Of course, I had a bite... and yup, it was as good as it looked. Smooth, rich, and worthy of its name. So, if you're anywhere near Gulf Shores and your sweet tooth starts whispering, head over to Yumm Twister & Ice Cream. You'll leave happy, sticky-fingered, and maybe a little addicted. And hey, if you stop in, tell them "The Harley Rider--aka 1/2-Time--sent ya." You won't score a discount, and I won't get a kickback--but at least they'll know I kept my promise and shared the scoop. Bottom line: This place is dessert heaven. Don't miss it!

Rolled up here for a dessert after a long day of conference-ing. I'd had this spot bookmarked for…read morea while and I was excited to try it. It's in a small shopping center that has lots of dining/dessert options. I only managed to make it about 45 minutes before close, so parking was easy and it wasn't busy. It smelled nice inside and looked clean. They offer a lot of different gelato desserts; the main draw I think is the twister cone, which is a baked cone that seems to be a donut-like pastry. This looked really good, but I was still too full from dinner to want anything quite that large. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. Two employees were there; one was a friendly young man who was clearly new as the other employee was teaching him how to ring up orders; the other was a surly older woman who seemed annoyed that I'd stopped in. I'm somewhat sympathetic since I did come in a little close to COB, but I don't think ~45 minutes is too unreasonable. I asked if they could make one of their signature cones in a cup instead and they agreed. I got the tiramisu variety, which is tiramisu and coffee gelato with coffee syrup and a ladyfinger. It was made in a reasonable time and I was rung up and headed out to my car to bring it back to eat at my hotel. The price was a little high but the portion was absolutely massive. You could easily split this treat. I certainly was unable to finish it. Overall, I thought it was only okay. The texture of the gelato was lovely, but the flavors were just kind of muted. I thought it should've been a bit sweeter, but not because the coffee was too strong; indeed, the coffee flavor was also just sort of light and unobtrusive. The syrup had an artificial taste that I wasn't crazy about and I was relieved when I'd eaten down past it to just spoonfuls of gelato. Lastly, the ladyfinger was sadly very stale, and even an attempt at ice cream rehydration didn't help it much. If I were to return, I'd definitely try one of the twister cones and would probably opt for a different flavor. Curiosity sated, for now!
