I rarely write Yelp reviews, but they deserve it (and did not ask for it.) I contacted them at 8:30 at night via text and was able to set up an appt for the next morning. He came and fixed a badly stopped-up toilet at a very reasonable price. I wish I had called them a few months ago for the sink issued I had -- I'm sure their prices would have been much more reasonable than what I paid the other company! Live and Learn. The Drain Co. is my number one choice for plumbing issues from now on. Thank you, Star and Mark! read more

My bathtub was clogged. That was all. On the referral of a friend, I called the Drain Co. The woman who dispatched asked if it was a plumbing problem or a drain problem. This is important because the Drain Co. does not purport to be plumbers. I'm afraid that some people who rate the company on Yelp were hoping for that, even though the people who take the calls are incredibly clear. They will clear your drain. If there are plumbing problems they can give you referrals, but they don't deal with pipes, etc. A young man was at my house within the hour. How amazing is that? I read a review that described a man who didn't inspire confidence in the customer. This may have been the guy. He was soft spoken and a bit tentative in his manner. I said to myself, "awesome, I got that guy." Guess what? He went in there and did the job. Quickly, efficiently and I am now, once again able to take a shower in spite of the fact that I have thick long hair that over a few years clogged my drain. He suggested a better cover for the drain and I got one immediately. I have absolutely zero regrets about using the Drain Co. They got the job done, lightning fast, and the price was incredibly reasonable. If your drain is clogged, call them! read more

Let's get started. Started from the first person I talked to she was so helpful and made things happen. Simple project I was trying to accomplish on my own turned into a flooded nightmare. Master bath was a nightmare that they simply fixed and how much can I thank you. I was not over charged at all but I personally would of paid 4 times the amount. It's plumbers like this that make my life easier I would recommend this company all the way. Thank you so much for making my life happier. By the way looks better even before I thought I was the plumber read more

Came out with a more than a fair price, (I was used to 200.00) no upsells or baloney. My wife thinks she can put anything down the garbage disposal and it will go down. Fast and friendly service puts this company way ahead of the others i have used. You're not paying for radio spots, just the cleaning. I would highly recommend The Drain Company without a second thought. read more

The Drain Co is very honest and dependable. They are very quick in their response time and very knowledgable in their work. We have referred many people to them this past year and highly recommend them to you as well!! read more

The Drain Co. is great! We have an older house and need their services about every 3 months due to tree roots. Invariably, the stopped drains occur on a holiday or weekend - no problem for them. They come out within the hour, service the drain and make their recommendations and are NOT expensive. We love the service and price and the crew that come out are very knowledgeable, fast and friendly. read more

Our drain from our pool to the street was a little clogged. They came out the same week and cleared it out. They knew what they were doing and explained everything. Their prices are fair too. I've used them in the past to snake our drains and always had a good experience every time. read more

We had a backup and a clog in our master bathroom. I called and spoke to Star. Mark and George came out and were able to quickly asses and fix the problem by snaking the drain. They were very efficient, knowledgeable and professional. Mark gave us some tips on how to avoid this type of issue in the future. We were very pleased with their service and will definitely be referring them to others. read more

I am a real estate broker and have used The Drain Co. quite a few times for my clients or referred people to them with great feedback, but today was the first time that I actually needed to use them myself. Our water heater went out and we discovered that it was beyond its useful life and didn't make sense to repair. We called The Drain Co at 9 AM and they had someone out at 12:30 PM and our new water heater was installed by 3 PM. Alonso and team were very professional and did a great job. Thank you Star and Co for a job well done!! read more

Super responsive and excellent service. Solved the problem quickly and for a reasonable price.

In and out fast. Friendly and fixed our tub in a jiffy. Decent pricing. We had to reschedule our appointment do something that came up, and they rescheduled politely without complaint. They even give you a little welcome packet as a first-time customer. The only question I have is... what is that sponge thing in the welcome package? It says "dip in water to see what happens..." and the result is underwhelming. LOL But anyway, with service like theirs, who cares?! ;) read more

I join the other reviewers in praising The Drain Company. My plumbing problems began on Saturday night and I made calls on Sunday knowing it would be more expensive, but I nearly had a heart attack when the Roto Rooter guy told me it would be an additional $40 per guy, and $495 just to snake my system via the roof. That was not what I was led to believe on the phone, and it was already an hour and a half past when they said they'd show up, due to scheduling mistake on their dispatch part. So on Monday a friend suggested The Drain Company and Star's quote was way lower, back in the reasonable range. The time window for Tuesday morning was between 8 and 10am, the two guys showed up at 8:20am, did a quick and efficient job, were very professional and nice and were gone in under an hour. I liked them so much I made them breakfast. Since its an older house with invasive tree roots, I know I will need this service again in a year. I look forward to calling The Drain Company again. read more

My HOA uses this company for drain problems and now I know why! Tom has been to my apartment twice for various reasons, mostly attributed to my horrific, loud, obnoxious neighbors upstairs who seemingly dump whatever the eff they want down the drain. Tom, who is pleasant, has always been very fast, efficient and fair. When you have an inconvenient drain problem, that's all you want from your plumber: great service! read more

No wonder this company has a 5 star review! I just spoke to Vicky, who was super sweet and friendly! She gave me a referral for a plumber because I couldn't use their services. Their referral was half the price of any of the other plumbers I've called (I've called about 5 of them). Thank you SO much Drain Co! read more

Great service, reliable and on time plumbers... what more can you ask for!? I really appreciate the this company is run by a woman and they focus on customer service and satisfaction. Nothing seemed "shady" and all went as planned. read more

They were perfect. We had a clogged drain in our only shower and after spending all Saturday trying to fix it ourselves, we finally called The Drain Co based on their stellar Yelp reviews. I got through to a live person who took my information and said the on-call technician would call me back. Five minutes later, I got his call. He said that since it was Saturday night, it would be double time ($110), but that was fine with us because we couldn't wait until Monday for normal rates. He said he could be here in an hour - and he was, even with Sunset Blvd Saturday night traffic. Cleaning out the clog took less than 10 minutes and he even cut us a deal on the price. Overall, couldn't have been faster or more pleasant to deal with. I like that their pricing is published on their website (the technician even showed us on his phone). They even offer a 30-day guarantee if the problem comes back. We will definitely call them the next time we have a drain backed up! read more

Worst plumbing service I've ever experienced and I use to work as a property manager for 8 years Before I had my kids. They are liars. My sink was clogged and they never fixed it, they won't come back out to see what they missed, etc. Do Not Recommend them AT ALL! I wish I could give Zero Stars!! Negative Stars! read more

I had a major issue with a blockage of the main sewer line to my home. The company sent JC to help fix the problem. He was communicative and let me know exactly when he would be arriving. He was courteous and patient and understanding and, most importantly, he was incredibly knowledgeable. He identified the issue immediately and advised me regarding next steps. He went above and beyond to ensure that the issue was resolved as quickly as possible, and left my home only after he explained exactly what had happened and how he would resolve the problem. He was just awesome. If JC is any indication of the caliber of expert employed at The Drain Company, then I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to the Drain Company (and specifically to JC) for responding to my plumbing emergency so quickly, for fixing the problem within 24 hours and for being genuinely concerned about what was happening. I am truly grateful. read more

The Drain Co - Plumbing Near Me - Winnetka, California

The Drain Co. inspected our sewage line prior to buying our new home. They found a small crack in the clay line and we completely forgot about it until it got worse. The "getting worse" part came in the form of sewage spilling in our front garden. We called a rooter company because we thought it was a clog. It turns out the pipe was broken and roots were completely blocking the line. The rooter company gave us a very high quote (several thousand dollars) to fix the issue. We called The Drain Co. with our original quote from a year ago and they said they would honor it. Today, two plumbers arrived to take care of the job. They excavated very carefully and removed a large section of pipe then replaced it. They were careful to replace everything back to the way they found it and the price was 1/3 of the quote from the rooter company. In the past I've used TDC for one of my facilities in Northridge and they did a great job then as well. They have a customer for life! read more
