They are all smiles until you ask for a simple accommodation like slicing a donut in half. Then they become unfriendly. They lack in-depth customer service and should be trained to be more helpful to serve the community that keeps them in business. On their door says to leave them a review and when I let the lady behind the counter know that because I was dissatisfied, I was going to leave a negative review, she started yelling at me saying "You are so rude! You are so rude!" U.S. Donuts on Highway 70 is where I will keep my business even though it's a further drive. Theyre friendly and very accommodating. Also their donuts are better. read more

HOWEVER.. on NATIONAL DONUT DAY they were completely sold out of donuts 4 hours BEFORE they closed and stated they were not making anymore... customers were coming in and out without donuts, so it made no sense as to why they could not have continued making donuts if they were still going to be open? I can understand if they sold out and there was a wait for more or if they sold out and didn't make more closer to closing but 4 HOURS before closing? Waste of my time and gas. Bad customer service. Not to mention, I have been here twice in the last week and both times the lady was rude and they were sold out of donuts one of the times as well... Owners or management need to adjust their hours to accommodate the amount of donuts they're willing to cook OR cook more donuts to accommodate the time they are open. read more

Really love their donuts. Yeast based donuts and very fluffy and big. The center hole is small so you can tell you're getting nearly the whole donut. They do have good sized donut holes so they must make them out of a separate dough rather than from the punch out of the regular donut center. Purely conjecture on my part. Whoa, Nelly! These donuts are the real deal. As indecisive as I am when it comes to food -- especially sweets -- we let the very friendly employee select a variety of donuts for our dozen. I sampled as many as my stomach would allow, and my favorites were the glazed and the plain with chocolate icing with sprinkles. Call me a purist. The donuts are light and fluffy yet very filling due to their larger size. They aren't overly sweet, which I found to be a nice change of pace compared to other donuts in town. The donut box became an instant success from the day it opened, and all these years later a line still forms on Saturday and Sunday morning. That's uncommon in Bartlett and speaks volumes in itself. What keeps me coming back is the fact that everyone I've interacted with at The Donut Box seems to take great pride in their work. The restaurant is always clean, service is fast, and they seem to always be ready to put out more donuts as fast as they come off the shelf. The donuts themselves are not the best I've eaten (nod to Voodoo in Beaverton, OR), and they are certainly priced on the high end. I can only base this review on ONE visit, so take it with a grain of salt. It was close to 2 PM on a Saturday, and they were out of nearly everything. I was able to get a few pastries but not what I wanted. The store wasn't very clean but the staff was really nice. The biggest hit is for the 4% up-charge for using a card. I should have told them to put the items back but I'll just go somewhere else. I was under impressed to say the least. read more

So what? Bartlett is nowhere near Gibson's Donuts. Have no fear! Not only do they have donuts to rival those at Gibson's....they also have "The BOX Biscuit"! I had read the reviews before I went and it suggested to go early in order to get the best selection so I went at 6am thinking that they would have everything, but they had barely any selection!
