The groomer also did a good job, and she would come out clean, cute, and smelling much better. The only complaint I had was that they don't express the anal glands, which was part of every service she'd gotten before (or so I was told). I got a call from the owner/manager of the groomer's business, and he said that the veterinarians in the area recommended that groomers not do it, because it's usually taken care of by the natural processes when the dog poops. And if, for some reason, the dog gets them impacted, it's best for the vet to take care of it. I'm a little suspicious that the vets just want to preserve as many treatments as they can for themselves because it helps their bottom line, but who knows? Anyway, hopefully, my dog won't and that service in the near future (although she has needed it in the pst due to impacted gland, which the vet did take care of because she had been incessantly licking her butt and I was worried about her.
