Our little Tilly is paraplegic and we had challenges with other places wanting to provide the extra special care, time, and patience that Tilly needs and Coco, the owner, was so reassuring to accommodate us. Eko and Misty gave Tilly her spa day and Tilly not only looked amazing, smelled amazing but I could tell she was comfortable and happy! They messaged us as soon as she was done. I'm so happy that I've found the Pet Spa and that they are close to me. They do a great job, and my doodle is happy when I pick her up. I've been twice and both experiences were great. Even when I brought my doodle in with a few tangles and mats from summer swimming ‍, they didn't make me feel bad about it at all. I was more than happy to let them take her coat short because I just didn't want her in pain to get the mats out because I didn't maintain it well enough. Lauren groomed my Shorkie, Auggie so well and so beautifully! I'm so pleased to have finally found a talented groomer again! After our neighborhood lost our talented groomer Kristie to the lucky people of Medford, OR, I've tried a few others unsuccessfully. Lauren is professional, impressively booked out 5-6 weeks, priced competitively, is human and dog friendly. She asked about immunizations and skin allergies. Her shop was clean and she has a helper for bathing and front desk check in/out, etc. I almost want to keep her a secret but she deserves some bragging and I'm thrilled to have found a groomer that can clip hair clean on the pads of his feet again. She even checks their teeth. He had hair wrapped around his teeth from licking around his mouth like all dogs do. Poor dog-how annoying! We can't have his teeth bothering him in case there's a stranger he needs to attack!! Arg!! Auggie finished happy and gorgeously groomed in just over an hour. She did a great job with her wash and the cut is so cute! She was done in just over an hour. Also, I could tell my pup was comfortable with her because she was relaxed when I picked her up. I just recently relocated to Boise from WA and was looking for a new groomer for my two dogs. I called around but quite a few places were booked out for weeks. Lauren at Pet Spa texted me back after i left a message and was able to get my girls in. I was pleasantly surprised with the shop! It was incredibly quiet, even with three other dogs in there so they must've felt comfortable and very clean. I dropped off my pooch and they told me it would be about 1.5-2hrs. One hour later Lauren let me know she was all ready! Lauren was great and my girl was calm and still smells delish!! We will for sure be coming back!! read more

Full Disclosure: This review is in hopes of reaching the business owner for some completely unsolicited advice... We are looking for a place to take our three cats, and from the reviews, this looks like a real possibility. However, I cannot seem to find a website to get a better idea of what you are all about! Sadly, we often will not go to a place without checking their website - so it is likely we will go to one of the other options that have been reviewed on yelp that has a site. Perhaps I am wrong and you have a site that I cannot find. If not - it is really easy (and pretty inexpensive these days). Even just a simple page or two showing off some pictures of your location, some photos of the kitties after their grooming and your hours would be super helpful. If I could give 6 stars I would. I absolutely love this groomer. I brought in my very large and very dirty Kuvasz. It had been probably a year since her last groom (yes, I know bad dog mom) and they did an absolutely phenomenal job on her. She was beautiful and the grooming job was superb. They knew how to cut her so she was comfortable and clean and it showed. My pup was so happy!!!!!! I will be using this groomer from now on. I will never go anywhere else!! This is the best pet spa around. I was initially going to go to a corporate grooming facility but they left a bad taste in my mouth and was so unpersonalized. I decided to look around and compare local businesses around the area and was recommended to this place. My cat had a big problem with mats and was unable to get it resolved myself. Cosmo is such a scared cat and barley lets me comb him. Lauren was so gentle and loving. She knew exactly what she was doing, and did it in such little time! I was so concerned that this was going to be a traumatic experience that he would've never recovered from, but it was quite the opposite thanks to Lauren. If you need any help with grooming in regards to cats, or have a little scaredy cat on your hands go to this gal! She did wonders. And saved me a bunch of money which is always a plus! read more

I used to take my two small dogs to a large chain to get groomed. The pricing started out ridiculously high, but each time I took them, it kept getting higher! I found Pet Spa by doing a quick web search and couldn't be happier. After the initial appointment explaining how I'd like them groomed, I can quickly drop them off and ask for the same. I first discovered Lauren at Pet Spa when I moved to Boise. I have been taking all of our pets to her (even our cat) ever since and I am forever devoted to her. We have 3 pugs that require a lot of maintenance. For only $25, they get a bath, conditioning treatment, brushed, nails, anal glands, and ears. And every time they get groomed, they get a free nail trim for in between groomings. They come home looking so clean and shiny, and smelling so good. I also like that she uses a dremmel for their nails; it's the most effective method in my opinion. She also has air conditioning for the warmer months, which is a necessity for my squishy faced fur babies. I don't have to worry that they'll overheat and love that I can keep them clean all year round. She also has a friendly staff and a clean atmosphere. Be sure to book in advance for a grooming. I'm always able to get our dogs in for a quick nail trim when I call ahead. read more

One star is being generous. Last week I was driving by and I saw Pet Spa off of Emerald Street. I was very happy because it is only a mile from my office. I have a little Yorkie and thought this would be a great place to get him groomed. I walked in and set an appointment for today. The lady at the front counter wrote the appointment in her appointment book and gave me a business card with my appointment written on the back. I show up for my appointment on the date we agreed on to get my little dog groomed. When I pulled up the lights were all off. There was a lady in her fifties and also a much younger lady standing there when I walked in . The place was in complete darkness. I told the lady that set my appointment last week that I was there for my to have my dog groomed. She stared at me like I was the devil and said "you don't have an appointment", never once looking at the appointment book directly in front of her. I said that I set it last week with her and I am certain of the time. She told me "you never set an appointment with me" and just kept staring at me like I was somehow doing something wrong. I turned to leave and said "I won't be back again". I drove home, checked the appointment card and yes, I had the date and time correct. Never once did she say anything nice or even normal. She obviously had nothing to do as she was just standing around with another employee looking out the window when I walked in. It was a weird, rude experience. All lights off during business hours, dog hair everywhere on the floor, rude lady who I later verified was one of the owners of this place. I would never trust my dog with this person or give my money to Pet Spa. Very rude for no reason. I almost never write reviews but in this case I feel that I must. There are many dog groomers in Boise. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one. read more
