I have been using CleanPup Mobile Grooming for a little over a year now. While some would say this is pricey, the convenience is more than worth it. One of our doggos tends to be really nervous traveling to the groomers and does not do well in that type of environment. When the mobil groomers pull up, I walk the dogs out like they are going for a walk, the groomers take the leash and walk them into their little camper/van and they don't even look back . I don't know what happens once they close the door, but I have had nothing but positive reports. I have had a different groomer with each visit and every single one of them has been great. I will also add that my nervous girl does not do well with her nails being clipped, and each groomer has found a way to work around her resistance (without putting a muzzle on her). We've used these guys frequently. Each time is a pleasant experience with some of the sweetest ladies who you can really tell LOVE animals. I have them cut my Yorkie because she has skin allergies and cancer. I know they will respect and love her while she's in their care. Makenna is 13 and has a number of senior dog issues like warts and weakness. We discussed this ahead of time as well as the kind of cut I wanted. In a short time she came bouncing in looking great! Just want to give a big shout out for CleanPup Mobile Grooming! They groomed my 2 pups Luna and Koda recently and I was so pleased. Luna is a rather large older shepherd husky mix and struggles getting in and out of the car to go to the groomers and gets very anxious being there for hours. They are more expensive but so worth it for the convenience and happiness of my babies. When she came to the door we walked them to her van I was very impressed-a grooming shop on wheels! When she came to my door a couple of hours later they were wagging their tails and looked and smelt so good! My schnauzer Koda never looked so cute. We recently adopted our sweet Golden Retriever, Bella, who was very much in need of a *thorough* bath. We tried to get her in with multiple grooming salons but most of them were booked out 2-6 weeks already! I found CleanPup Saturday evening and was able to easily book an appointment on their website for today (Monday) at 8am! The process was so easy that I wasn't sure if I had actually correctly booked her appointment. Not to mention I felt extra lucky for having to get her in so soon! Received a message the groomer would be 20 late, which is okay. But she ended up showing up 50 minutes late. The hair cut was okay, there are places on my dog that are really choppy and abrupt as well as parts that look like the groomer just didn't get to or double check. I told the groomer that one part that needed attention was between his toes/paws and she didn't even touch them! It's been awhile since my dog's anal glands were cleared and he sometimes drags his butt on the carpet which is a sign he needs them done, she said his were fine and didn't need them cleared. There were no prices posted anywhere so even though she was an hour late and didn't seem to do all the parts of the service that it says is included, I still got charged $90. Definitely won't be using this service again. read more

Cleanpup may be the most unorganized business I have ever done business with, especially for grooming. The guy shows up 10 minutes late for the appointment, then has to leave because he can't find his cell phone (which he later tells me he dropped somewhere near my house). I made my second appointment 2 months in advance (2 months before my vacation) and a month later they contact me to say their groomer is going to be on vacation and they need to reschedule. Their first impression is not great. The groomer washed my dog, clipped her nails, checked her glands and it was $95...she is a short hair pity. Not worth the hassle... try a different mobile groomer. read more

I used this service for almost a year I paid with tip $110. I was happy with Melissa (who always cut his hair) I received a message Melissa was no longer with the company. I wasn't home when the new girl came my husband said it took her about 90 mins when I came home his hair was hanging in the left side of his face (Yorkie) over an inch longer and didn't seem to have done much cutting. My 18 month old Boston Terrier needed her nails clipped badly but I had not made it to the groomer. Yesterday I was at home and noticed the Clean Pup mobile pull up to my neighbors house. I went over and asked If there was any way she would be willing to trim Kona's nails. She told me that she was more than happy to do it as soon as she was done with my neighbors dog. I was beyond ecstatic. Once she was done, she came over to pick up Kona. The main thing I noticed at this point was that Kona was very comfortable with her. This was a very pleasant surprise. She carried Kona to her trailer and returned a short while later. Kona's nails looked great!!! They were no longer sharp talons that could rip our eyes out. She explained that she cuts the nails as close to the quick as possible without hurting her or making her bleed and then she grinds them down. Impressed doesn't even describe how well she did them. After she dropped Kona back off at out house, I went back to the trailer with her to pay. When I went inside the trailer, I noticed that her equipment was very clean and organized. She only charged $ 7 for her nails!!! I chatted with the owner, Angela, for a bit & then headed home. I highly recommend Angela to groom your pets, she is really patient with the animals and takes pride in what she does. Thank you so much, Angela! Angela was wonderful with Abby. Abby was nervous but Angela was very gentle and calm with her. Abby is fussy about her nails getting trimmed, but she was patient with Abby and got them trimmed. Her coat/grooming looks great and will defiantly be using Clean Pup again! read more

Our beloved German Shepherd, who is an incredibly intelligent and sensitive animal, was clearly traumatized by a groomer with this company a few months ago. A couple of his nails were cut so far back, that they bled for hours after the groomer left. Unfortunately, I never complained because I did not realize the magnitude of the incident at the time. Today, the groomer had to call me from the van, because my poor dog was out of control (something that has NEVER happened in his 7 years, and prior notes reflect that). He had peed and pooped ALL OVER HIMSELF AND THE VAN, and had actually broken the pole to which he was attached. He had scratched the groomer so badly on her leg when she attempted to cut his nails, that she was unable to do anything further with him. He had also hit his head/eye so hard (while writhing in distress), that I had to take him to the Emergency Veterinarian in Boise because his left eye was swollen shut. By the grace of God, his eye was not damaged; however, the entire ordeal was beyond upsetting for our dog, my son, and myself. To make matters worse (I am a single Mom battling to pay the bills as it is), the owner (Angela) would not accept any responsibility for this, and REFUSED to help cover the Vet bill in the amount of $165. I am appalled by the lack of empathy and accountability. I will NEVER use this company again and I caution anyone else who might consider them..... read more
