I had to write this review after what my friends and I experienced . Does anyone notice that the dispensary dicriminates on hiring older adults for employment ? I applied at the dispensary in Henderson after speaking with Lexie and Nester at the store a few times. At the interview I waited over 45 minutes for Lexie to come out and greet me. Once at the interview she seemed too in a hurry to get done and hardly asked any important questions regarding my skills. I was told that there was positions open ready to hire. Both managers made promising offers but a bit cloudy on information of what to do next. I had to chase down both managers that don't return phone calls just to get the first and second interview. I needed a job really bad and was definetly qualified with my cannabis knowledge and previous experience. I was misinformed by Lexie and Nester and told great things about my skills only to be led on. It took a month and a half to get an answer. I kept persuing the job because they said they could use my skills. I was given two different answers by both managers on why they didn't hire me. Both of these managers wasted my time and treated the interview process very unprofessional. I also have some friends that applied there during the pandemic and they experienced similar treatment. If this happened to us, then I'm sure it has happened to others because you don't see older employees working there. Now, I go in and deal with a lot of new hires that hardly have knowledge in terps and specifics in what I'm looking for. This was their choice of hire vs someone that has real knowledge on cannabis. A lot of us depend on terps and strain info but some new hires fail to deliver information that is relevant. I have been shopping here since it opened but lately I have been going else where to buy too. My mistake was getting to know the dispensary too well because now I don't have a good feeling when I go there. You can say I lost respect after getting to know how the business is really run there. These two Managers are almost next to impossible in returning calls and giving accurate information or respect for that matter. After talking to a few bud tenders about it I decided to go somewhere else from now on. They didn't have good things to say about both managers so it strengthens my view of the dispensary being discriminative towards older employees. The only other dispensary that does this is Jardin. They only hire young model type of employees. The dispensary is huge now because locals like myself have been supporting it for years. Now they seem like a huge Walmart without the good deals, no rewards or discounts and flower that is old and dry. The specials seem like old bud that is in need of selling fast. They have tons of registers now but only 2-3 employees turning customers. Locals made that dispensary and now they take away the reasons why we loved to shop there. This dispensary has been my go-to dispensary for the past few months until my last visit, and sadly to say i will not be returning.. i had bought two refillable cartridges for my pen. One full gram and one half. After opening the full gram i realized the mouth piece wasn't secure. You could spin and spin and spin and the top wouldn't lock. After messing with it for a couple minutes a dollop of concentrate spilled over. I decided to put it back in the package and return the next morning. Upon checking in the following morning with the cartridge, i let the nice lady at the front know the situation and she assured me i would be able to exchange as long as i have the receipt and the cartridge, which i did. After she let me in the back i saw the guy that helped me the previous day (very nice man, can't remember his name) and i showed him the cartridge. I let him know i didn't want my money back, i still wanted to try the product that he had recommended the day before. He told me an exchange can definitely happen, he just had to get his manager. He brought over Noah who had taken a look at the cartridge and then went on to tell me since there wasn't concentrate in the box, that i must have broken it and he wouldn't do an exchange. Even after telling him that yes, pulling the cartridge out of the box it looked perfectly fine, once i connected it to my battery and tried to hit it i knew something was off. Yes, i gently adjusted the top which i realized wouldn't lock and after lifting it some concentrate spilled over and i decided i didn't want to deal with it and put in back in the box. For how expensive these things are, I'm sure people do some shady things but I genuinely bought a defective item and Noah made me feel like a shister. Even his employee was shocked. I did not demand anything and was polite, i did not blame anyone, and i did not purposely damage anything or use the products before returning only hours later. Noah did mention that i should have called but even if I did it wouldn't have made a difference..Noah does not know the first thing of customer service and his approach was all wrong. This dispensary has a great selection and staff but i won't ever return and I won't ever recommend anyone here. This used to be a 5 star establishment, however it is clearly using the pandemic to gouge its customers. Prior to the pandemic, and even months into it, The Dispensary consistently promoted itself as "Home of the $49 quarter", and typically offered options with THC content in the 20-26% range. Not only has any reference to $49 quarters been scrubbed over the last couple weeks, with the lowest price now $59, the quality has dropped into the 13-18% range. This is a 20% increase to the price for sometimes 50% less THC content as before. Further, 1/8s are now being listed between $35-$55. When you add the 20% tax, these prices are now higher than when it was an illegal black market product. If a liter of Jack Daniels was watered down from 40% alcohol to 20% alcohol content, and the price was raised from $20 to $24/liter, would anyone find this acceptable? Finally, The Dispensary has instituted a pick up process that consistently forces traffic to back up in both directions on the main road, with other drivers dangerously swerving around customers waiting to be be able to turn into the parking lot. This is dangerous not only for their customers, but for the surrounding community in which this store operates. Frankly the reason I'm writing anything here is because I already contacted the establishment about both of the above issues and didn't get a response. I don't begrudge a company making money, and completely understand supply and demand. But you don't get to petition the Governor to stay open as an "essential service" during a pandemic with one hand, then use the other to price gouge based on the demand caused by that pandemic. read more

Dannyo was an amazing bud tender! I have severe health issues and do not like taking sedative meds that make me feel gross or negatively affect my mind or body with chemical hang overs. I let Danny O know the basics of my conditions, told him what kind of meds I take, and what solution I was looking for at the Dispensary. Luckily for me; this guy really knew his stuff, and nothing just a couple minutes, he had me set up with what I needed to make it through the mornings, afternoon, evening, and bedtime. Everything was on point, as was his personality and professionalism. Not only do I recommend The Dispensary for it's great process and excellent products; but also for the quality, knowledge, kindness, and empathy of its bud tenders like Danny O. Of all the locations in town, not just the Dispensary; but more specifically, The Dispensary Henderson is the place you need to go for all of your medical and recreational neleds! BTW... SHUT THEM DOWN THEY ARE LIARS AND DELIVERY IS A SCAM. I was told my order would be delivered and it wasn't. The delivery driver came by, texted me he was out front and he WAS NOT. KEVIN the delivery driver LEAVES AND FAILS TO DO HIS JOB. deliver to a loyal customers order. I was told he would be back because "he wasn't supposed to wait after 5 or 10 mins of waiting he is supposed to leave if you do not come out". Soooo I went outside and your driver wasn't there so you leave and make me wait 2 hours after waiting 5 hours for my order to tell me I'm the reason why he left? after 7 hours of waiting. I'm the problem? Your driver left and didn't do his job. He was not outside my home. You lost good service. Thank you terrible management. This scam needs to be shut down. read more

This place always has great deals. I get multiple notifications of what's on sale everyday. Today they had a couple of sales I had to get. So to start off, The Dispensary in Henderson has always been a favorite place, because they have great deals all the time. Today's visit was great, I got what I wanted for a great price and the person that helped me, his name is Tim, is awesome. He knew the sales I was talking about and pulled out samples to smell and look at. Wow, this guy knows his stuff. This is always nice when ur trying to learn about new products. Fast, professional service. Top-notch product. Knowledgeable staff. Huge inventory variety. My man, Garret, hooked-it-up (If he gets a bonus for tricking a customer into writing a review, write that man a check). Got a huge discount for being a vet, and another $10 on-top, just for showing-up. How do they stay in business with deals like that? Well, you can bet that when the discount is more than $80, I shook his hand and said "I'll rate you highly on Yelp", and here we are. Totes, best place in Henderson. Every time I come here I get my questions answered with a smile, even my dumb ones. I can describe my issues or the experience I want to have and get exactly what I need. From, "I want to be catatonic," to "My back hurts and I have to watch the kids," they know what I need. Try all the strains your old street dealer used to say you were getting and know you're getting the best quality, and the real thing. The Dispensary's purchaser has spoken at several educational seminars I've been to. I trust him to bring only the best product to his stores. I can't say enough good things about the budtenders. got a discount for being first time customer, the "budtender" was friendly. As far as the product goes, it is the same stuff everyone else sells. Their prices are better than "The Source" another dispenser down the road. The girl at the front desk, checking ID, had a snotty attitude and copied into her computer, information from my drivers license without my consent. I will be contacting them to delete any name or address they have copied. Other than that, it is a nice dispensary with wide selection of products, they have a nice online page with their menu listings. Parking is tight. Will be back! thank you. read more

Good afternoon everyone today I went to the dispensary on Gibson to order a pre-roll that I found out was .5 instead of a gram. I brought the pre-roll back with the receipt in the bag and told them hey I buy a lot of pre-rolls from you guys and this one was short. I spoke with Erin the manager, and he was totally disrespectful. Secondly Erendan my name is not my guy so please refrain from calling that. I ordered for pickup and didn't know they changed the process for where to go. I also was on the phone and not reading the signage. A young lady came out to help me and I asked her if I was in the right spot. She said I should have stopped at the first sign before parking but told me it was okay and she would take care of me anyway (it was a slow Sunday in the parking lot from what I usually see here.) She got my money and ID and returned quickly with my order and was super friendly despite my mess up! Next time you visit this location ask for Frankie, she's awesome! read more
