Lily did well with commands at home, but was very reactive to people and animals (and also the occasional leaves blowing around) so we decided to look for another trainer and found Samy from Lubbock Elite Dog Training. Within the first lesson (which was a free consultation) he had her reactivity under control within 5 minutes. So of course we hired him! He worked with us on a payment plan, and scheduling (we had to reschedule several times because of my flare ups). I HIGHLY recommend him as a trainer!! Especially if your dog has behavioral issues. I can tell they enjoy the dogs and treat them with kindness as well. They seem sensitivity to the dogs and that fact that they are likely uncomfortable and scared leaving their owners. It's really comforting to know that your dogs are in great hands. The kennel is a little out of the way but well worth it to know that your babies are being well taken care of.

I spent two weeks trying to decide where to leave them, and I'm so glad we chose Tipton Pet Hotel. One of my favorite things was that the dogs have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces--it gave me so much peace of mind. The facility itself smelled amazing (which says a lot!), was very clean, and felt welcoming right away. The staff were warm, caring, and even let me check out their room with them, which I really appreciated. The absolute best part, though, was the communication. I truly felt like they cared about my girls. One of ours is a recent rescue, and I was a little nervous about how she would adjust, but they were so kind, patient, and genuine. I wish I had gotten the name of the person I spoke with because she was incredible. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Tipton, for taking such great care of our girls!

We first took her to another "kennel" in Lubbock and I cried the whole time she was there because it was dirty and I knew she was not happy. BUT after discovering Regal we have never taken our pets anywhere else! Todd and his family/staff are amazing and such great people. They love animals and you can tell by the way they run their business. We often took our lab for their "daycare" services so she could enteract with other dogs. They are great about getting information about your animal and careful to choose which other animals they can play with. She loved visiting her "friends" at regal and would get so excited when we got past 100th street because she knew where we were headed! Everytime I picked her up she was happy and tired! Which I SO appreciated! We use their weekend kennel services and it is fantastic. The prices are a little steep which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars. They are attentive when you bring in your animal and really get to know you and your animals. They always wrote down any notes I gave them for bones/treats/meds etc. I never worried about our dogs while they stayed at regal- I knew they were being well taken care of! Todd always knows our pups and us when we come in and is very patient with our sometimes hyper pups! They are also great about keeping records of the shots and such, Todd even called to remind me one week that our pup needed a second immunization for an upcoming stay! :) I can't say enough great things about Regal- they are truely a home away from home for our dogs and they love a trip to see Todd and the staff. If you're searching for a great place- Regal Pet Resort is it! Thank you Regal for bringing a great place for pets to Lubbock!
