We first took her to another "kennel" in Lubbock and I cried the whole time she was there because it was dirty and I knew she was not happy. BUT after discovering Regal we have never taken our pets anywhere else! Todd and his family/staff are amazing and such great people. They love animals and you can tell by the way they run their business. We often took our lab for their "daycare" services so she could enteract with other dogs. They are great about getting information about your animal and careful to choose which other animals they can play with. She loved visiting her "friends" at regal and would get so excited when we got past 100th street because she knew where we were headed! Everytime I picked her up she was happy and tired! Which I SO appreciated! We use their weekend kennel services and it is fantastic. The prices are a little steep which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars. They are attentive when you bring in your animal and really get to know you and your animals. They always wrote down any notes I gave them for bones/treats/meds etc. I never worried about our dogs while they stayed at regal- I knew they were being well taken care of! Todd always knows our pups and us when we come in and is very patient with our sometimes hyper pups! They are also great about keeping records of the shots and such, Todd even called to remind me one week that our pup needed a second immunization for an upcoming stay! :) I can't say enough great things about Regal- they are truely a home away from home for our dogs and they love a trip to see Todd and the staff. If you're searching for a great place- Regal Pet Resort is it! Thank you Regal for bringing a great place for pets to Lubbock!

They wanted to charge $8.00 / day for their food. I had my son take by food. When I picked him up he seemed fine. The next day he begin coughing and throwing up white, foamy, slimy liquid that continued all morning. Could not eat or drink without throwing up. Took him to the vet. All his shots and vaccines were updated even his BORDETELLA which had 2 months before expiration. I will never take my dog there again. They take in too many dogs and things are not communicated to owners. I believe they ran out of my dogs food because he was throwing up and it was not noted!

He has it all over his belly, and his face. His face has cuts all over, and is extremely upsetting. This isn't an untrained dog when it comes to grooming either, he has been groomed regularly (every 6 weeks) since he was about 12 weeks old. I have had a few times where he gets razor burn on his belly and I was willing to overlook it until I looked at his face and there are puncture marks from the razor under his eyes. There was a lack of care taken for my dogs eagerly and overall I would not return. Update: spoke to the owner today, and she took full accountability for the huge mistake and did her best to make the situation better. If he needed vet care she offered to pay for it. Overall I would recommend the shop because of the accountability of the owner but I would not recommend Melissa to do your dogs.

We've been using Good Paws exclusively for many years. They have always managed to find room for our two Yorkies, even on short notice. Our dogs are always clean and happy to see us when we return. They do not seem stressed. One great thing Good Paws does is give us a discount for the second dog when they are kept together. We just had a great example of the service provided, as we had to board our dogs at the last minute due to a family member dying of cancer halfway across the country. They got us in for what we thought would be a one week stay, but they we able to let us stretch that to fifteen days when the funeral was delayed. We never worry about the care and attention our dogs will receive. They are a bit outside of town, but conveniently located to the airport when you are flying. We would rather change our own travel plans, than to use another boarder for our dogs.

I parked here by accident. Visiting for the week from out of town. First time ever in Lubbock…read more There is a towing sign on the wall of the building but one would assume it applies to the length of the buildings (Brûlée Bakery is next door which is where I was for a couple of hours). I did not even see this sign when I parked but noted it afterwards. What I did see is a sign made for the shop in front of the parking space directly next to mine that is for time limited parking. If you are looking to make sure you aren't in the wrong spot that flags your attention and you think you're fine. If you happen to notice the sign on the wall you still think you're ok because you are patronizing that shopping center. When I was getting ready to leave the bakery I was on my phone sitting in my car in order to finish my conversation before I started driving. A nice lady stopped at my car and signaled for me to roll down my window. She said "just so you know, they normally tow people." As if I was lucky my car was still there. I sweetly smiled and said I was from out of town and wouldn't be back. By this I mean I will never darken their doors. I was going to go in once my call was done just to see what they had before I left. My mom's dog is spoiled rotten by the whole family and I might have spent too much money there. It has happened once or twice as he is the sweetest Malshi ever created. Now? No. If this is truly only their parking, I am sure the owner gets tired of people parking there. But I am a complete stranger to your city, and I do not feel welcome by your establishment at all now. Not to Lubbock and not to your pet store. It felt elitist and hair trigger punitive for a simple misunderstanding. I know I'm not the only person to interpret the signage this way, even for people who live here. What I learned quickly about parking in Lubbock is that there are many places you have to hunt for it. As long as I saw I was ok to park in the lot or shopping center of my destination I had to park and walk quite a bit. How about you as an owner get better signage? And what a way to welcome someone to your town - can you imagine if I were towed and had to go through the expensive and complicated process of figuring all that out? I looked at the city this week in context of if this is a place I would live, and if so what places what I frequent. I can tell you 100% this is not one of them. I believe in kindness and giving someone the benefit of the doubt. They obviously do not reciprocate this ideal if they "typically tow people". This is only the second negative review I have left on Yelp to my recollection. Obviously they do something right because they get good reviews from patrons. It may be unfair because I didn't go in, but so is towing people because you can't get your signage to make sense. Would give zero stars for their attitude but I did enjoy the parking.

He came to our house, showed us what his dogs can do, then worked with us on our new Border Collie puppy. Donnie doesn't read from a script like the big box store trainers do. He goes over the basics, then if an issue arises he stops and works with it right there. He has a great balance between firmness with the dog and fun.
