I'm sure the groomer has had trouble grooming him because of his age, which is understandable. However, the last time I brought him, I thought everything was normal and it wasn't. I got the call, like usual, that he was ready to go. So, I drive up there, walk in and see him sitting there. Everything seemed normal, the groomer ran my card and I go to get my dog but he won't get up. She then finally says, "he's been like that since his bath". Now I don't blame them or think that they purposely hurt him, but what made me mad was that it was never mentioned to me till I tried to get him to walk with me. Why wouldn't they say something over the phone or even while I'm checking out? Makes me feel like they were trying to hide it. One lady ended up helping me carry my dog to the car, and I ran him to the vet. I think they just wanted him out cause I barely saw any concern for him from them. He's better now and it probably was just his old bones he was having trouble with but I feel like they were trying to deceive me by not saying anything. I won't bring him back there again, and I am so disappointed because I did like this place and have referred people to them. Anyhow, I've learned my lesson and will now ask if a groomer has experience with older dogs because this place does not seem to.

Very Displeased With This Mobile Grooming Service ... I have…read moreused this grooming business for a couple of years now. The groomers are pretty good groomers that for the most part I have been happy with and given several good reviews in the past, but their business ethics do not cater to good customer service. I have had no issues with this business for two years and all of a sudden they seem to think it's good customer service to change that customers appointment date just because they choose to do so? Beware: They make an appointments with you that's agreed upon four weeks ahead of time, text you that appointment day and time, and text you to remind you of that appointment time the day before, as they always do, only to have changed that time themselves from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm. That's four hours later than your appointment time agreed upon when you made the appointment. And not one person calls or texts you to ask you if you wouldn't mind changing that time. And when you ask why - they threaten to go up on the rate you have been paying to use their grooming services saying you have been paying much lower rates than what their rates are for your dog! Well, I just wonder why I was told that particular rate when I first began using their service two years ago and for those two years have been paying that same rate every four weeks. The groomer had not mentioned that rates had gone up. Hmmm I think I smell something kind of not right there when you call them out on their lousy customer service. So I go ahead and take the 1:45 appointment because I was in a situation where I had family coming in from out of town and my dog needed to be cleaned up before they arrived and I would not have been able to get an appointment for that day anywhere else because of no appointment. We just rearranged our schedule so I could get my dog groomed. Then ... Why would anyone think it's an okay thing for a dog to be groomed in this hot Texas 90 something degree summer weather heat in a grooming mobile unit that does not have a properly working AC?! If I would have been told that before the appointment for my dog I would certainly have canceled! Wasn't told that until my dog was brought back to me in my home panting like she had been running a marathon! Very dangerous possible heat stroke moment there for the animals you seem to claim you love Furry Land, yet only have a fan that barely cools when they are being dried with a high velocity dryer in that kind of heat!! OMG!! How can you possibly think that is a safe situation to put an animal in?! Not to mention your poor groomer which was very hot and flushed herself when she brought my dog in my home to me. How can you people think treating your customers and your employees that way is okay?!! Shame on you Furry Land Mobile Grooming! Yep Traci M. you have an answer to everything! Just to make some things clear... Your groomer told me after she brought my dog back in my home to me while we talked about my appointment being changed about it being best to make the appointment at 7:00 am to make sure of them not being late or changing it. She has never told me that before. And that was told to me AFTER she groomed my dog and brought her back in to me and I asked her why you do that to customers. (changing their appointment times by 4 hrs like that). Then I was told that you had new customers on the north side of town and that's probably why they changed it. So there you go! The groomer brought Josie into my home just like I said, and again, funny how Josie was not panting at all when she left out my front door before getting groomed. The groomer is the one that told me she was in an older mobile van and had to use a fan over the top of where she was grooming Josie to have air. How else would I know about that to even raise a complaint about it! Think about that one. That's just common sense. She also made the statement that it was really hot in there. We even talked about how hot the summer Texas heat can get. Josie went over to her bed and laid down panting and I told her it was nice and cool in the house. You can't get away from truth right in front of your eyes! You were not there Traci M. Your groomer can say whatever she wants to keep her job. I know what she told me and you cannot change that. You can kind talk all you want, and try to be real Entrepreneur like all you want, but lousy customer service is just that ... Lousy customer service! And your customers will praise you until they get a little of that stinky customer service themselves. So, you can make up excuses to cover all of that and to cover your butt all you want, but it is what it was, Just plain nasty customer service that has been covered up by you. I hope no one else has to experience the lies, and mean and rude lousy customer service that you and your employees are capable of after you put on your pretense of love and kindness until you flub up and have to try to make it something that it isn't.
