Wagbnb booked her into a spacious suite at a moment's notice, sent lots of photos and videos of my puppy's stay, and made sure she was comfortable and safe. When my puppy was a bit too nervous for playgroup, staff immediately contacted me and arranged to do individual play with my puppy instead. Staff puts dogs' safety first. Puppy came home without being overtired, hungry, or thirsty. I rarely board my pets. When I do, Wag is the only place in town that I trust.

We've been using Good Paws exclusively for many years. They have always managed to find room for our two Yorkies, even on short notice. Our dogs are always clean and happy to see us when we return. They do not seem stressed. One great thing Good Paws does is give us a discount for the second dog when they are kept together. We just had a great example of the service provided, as we had to board our dogs at the last minute due to a family member dying of cancer halfway across the country. They got us in for what we thought would be a one week stay, but they we able to let us stretch that to fifteen days when the funeral was delayed. We never worry about the care and attention our dogs will receive. They are a bit outside of town, but conveniently located to the airport when you are flying. We would rather change our own travel plans, than to use another boarder for our dogs.

After reading reviews I decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did. They were all so nice from the very first phone call. They treated my pupper with kindness, respect and compassion. The Dr. was so thorough and explained everything. It turned out one of her hips was like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. She was in pain when we went in and during our visit had a clear picture of what to expect in her future. 3 days later she was pretty much back to her old self. They were all so wonderful I decided to bring the other 2 dogs to make sure they were in good shape. Definitely would recommend them. They were so very different from the vets in Indiana. Lily did well with commands at home, but was very reactive to people and animals (and also the occasional leaves blowing around) so we decided to look for another trainer and found Samy from Lubbock Elite Dog Training. Within the first lesson (which was a free consultation) he had her reactivity under control within 5 minutes. So of course we hired him! He worked with us on a payment plan, and scheduling (we had to reschedule several times because of my flare ups). I HIGHLY recommend him as a trainer!! Especially if your dog has behavioral issues. He is the Ceasar Millan of west Texas!

I love the wild prairie dogs where I live in North Lubbock. Today I was outside and I saw a white…read morepickup with the words "Lubbock Prairie Dog Department" logo on the side of the door. I saw a man laying down flat, he appeared dead or injured. I went over to see if he needed help. He jumped up and yelled out to me. I couldn't hear him so he drove over to me. The white pickup truck had a water tank in back with a hose. He had a cage in the front seat. I thought he was poisoning them. He stated that he was flushing them out to catch the babies. I told him that the babies need their mother. He said "not anymore" He said that he sells them to Walter's world of Pets.I told him Walter's was the worse. I told him that this was illegal and asked for his name but he refused to give it. I went back to get my cell phone to get pictures but he took off before I could get back. I called animal services, texas parks and wildlife rangers, as well as the police to make a report. I also called Walter's and asked where they buy their prairie dogs and the guy on the phone answered trappers. When I went on my speel, a lady grabbed the phone out of his hand and stated "we buy them from a mating facility" the first store clerk had already told me the truth. So if you own a prairie dog, think about how it was stolen from it's mother right out of nature. Walter's is a horrible place. Wildlife deserves to be free.
