When I arrived, Tina was my massage therapist, and she did a fabulous job. I have severe lower back and neck pain from old injuries, so I requested medium pressure. Tina was spot on--I would describe the pressure as medium to strong, exactly what I needed. She also discovered a significant amount of tension at the base of my skull and applied firm pressure to both sides. That was an area I had never really considered, but it turned out to be a major source of radiating pain and headaches for me. Tina's technique was excellent, and her tempo and attention to pressure were just right. The facility was clean, peaceful, and quiet, with soft, soothing music playing in the background. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Garden Wellness Massage, especially if you're looking for a skilled therapist who really pays attention to where your body is holding tension.

I'm not walking with a walker yet, but my body's become rather tense because of some physical hobbies I took up this year. So why not get a massage? Luckily, Gardens Wellness Spa has a "Sports Massage" which combines different types with massages with stretches for the arms, chest, and legs. It was nice that I was able to get an appointment so quickly when I went to the website. It took less than an hour from booking the appointment to being on the table. Parking was ample, and the front staff was pleasant and welcoming. I was escorted to a dim room and given instructions to prepare myself before the therapist comes in. My massage therapist came in, introduced herself, and got to business. By the end of the session, I felt slightly better. The stiffness and ache in my back was definitely still present. But I wasn't expecting a full recovery after a 60 minute sessions so I didn't mind. I appreciated that she really tried using pressure on the back by literally using her entire body weight, because most of the massage therapists I get are significantly lighter than me, so I don't really feel much when they try to get the knots out. That being said, it would be nice to have an option online for a male therapist as I could have used more pressure on my back. The portion where you can book with certain staff members are only labeled as 'Therapist' for all the options. I understand from a privacy-focused perspective why they'd do that, but I never know who I' getting when I book with them. Decent service, would come back again if needed.

Thank you Letter to "Nancy and Dr Z from Body Therapy Center"…read more Dear Dr. Z and Nancy Thank you Doc for your wonderful Therapy Center and therapy team Thank you Doc for being open on weekends Thank you Doc for the flexibility with my needy schedule Thank you for being open during COVID But most of all, Thank you for scheduling me with Nancy during COVID Thank you Body Therapy Center Where does one start with a review after all these years at Body Therapy Center? A thirty plus year journey for me to find wellness has been found. Thank you Nancy From the start I felt I actually found a therapist who may help me, and during COVID of all times. It appears it took a pandemic for me to find the right therapist! I honestly did not believe I would find success on this journey at my age, but I now believe I have a positive future, and I firmly believe healing can happen as long as you do the work, and find someone who knows how to work with you and more importantly, find ALL your root causes as Nancy has done with me. God really works in mysterious ways. Amazing stuff for me. Nancy figured out I was a mess pretty quick so we began weekly sessions, and to this day, there has never been a session that is the same. Each week something new was found and worked on, eventually each year something new was introduced to help us continue progress with my wellness journey; Theragun, to a Bamboo Stick AKA Sheila (I hate Sheila. Shh), and at that point, I happily became a case study for her sister, Ms Hillary who is a future Physical Therapist in training. That was very rewarding to actually have a licensed massage therapist and a future physical therapist in training, assisting you on your wellness journey. We had a few sessions which provided me deeper understanding as to just how bad my condition is. Thank you Doc for allowing this too. So Grateful. In my thirty plus year journey for wellness, I have been thru five chiropractic programs (each a minimum of 3-6 months), two acupuncture programs (one program for 5 years), two orthopedic surgeons (no surgery), one physical therapy program, numerous medications, countless massage therapists and alternative eastern treatments; all satisfied the issues in the moment, but did not even come close to figuring me out, or even trying to figure me out. Timing is strange, but one thing for sure, Nancy is a healer. My wellness journey is far from over, but the ever difficult mystery to find a therapy center with the best massage therapist to support my mission has now been solved as we are looking forward to "maintenance" massages very soon.

He was a customer who ended up buying the lounge was very welcoming and informative. You can tell he really enjoyed and believed in the therapeutic aspects of floating. He explained everything in detail...took about 10 minutes to set me up for a successful float. I had my own locked private lounge which consisted of a shower, changing area and float chamber. I was impressed with the cleanliness and appreciated the provided towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and two different kinds of ear plugs. After entering the chamber of darkness and began floating, I did not feel claustrophobic at all, which was my concern. I think it helped knowing I was in a 7ft by 8ft chamber instead of the pod I initially expected. I floated for 60 minutes. It was like a scheduled nap without the guilt of doing anything. My only job was to just relax and be present in this moment. After the awkwardness of this new experience and being able to be completely still, I stopped feeling the water and air. It felt like my consciousness was suspended in a cloud. Only when I purposely moved was when I felt my body again. Surprisingly, I fell asleep and even more surprisingly, I learned I snore because my snoring woke myself up. Embarrassingly, my snoring was the only thing in that chamber with me. I wasn't quite sure what I thought of my first float experience. However, it wasn't until I went about the rest of my day that I started feeling the benefits of my float. I felt very chill, relaxed and centered, I had a sense of zen with me for a few days. Because of how I felt after, I am definitely going to return. It was like a great massage, but for your brain or consciousness.

My experience with Linda has been absolutely phenomenal. I reached out to her prior to my surgery, and she was incredibly informative, educational, and reassuring. From the very beginning, I could tell she is a genuinely kind and heartfelt person. She helped coordinate my first lymphatic massage after my tummy tuck as an in-home session. I was understandably nervous, as I had never had this type of massage before and was still feeling uncomfortable post-surgery. However, from the moment she arrived, her calming energy and gentle, knowledgeable touch immediately put me at ease and helped me relax. I highly recommend Linda for all of these reasons. She is not only an exceptional therapist, but a truly wonderful person. read more

I am able to avoid triggers and/or use my compression garments to control swelling -My WBC count is the highest it has ever been and in normal range for the first time! -I have not had the GI issues that I had prior to starting MLD (which I'm SO thankful for!) -While I can't say my chronic pain and fatigue are gone, they are significantly less debilitating and my flare-ups do not last as long and aren't as frequent Thank you, Angelica!! I already see a chiropractor weekly, and combining that with her massage was exactly what my body needed. I left feeling lighter, more mobile, and genuinely relieved. She tailored the session to my specific pain, incorporated gentle cupping and chakra techniques, and had such an intuitive, relaxing flow. She also made thoughtful accommodations for my growing belly, and I felt completely comfortable and cared for the entire time. The pricing for a full two-hour massage is fantastic, and I truly felt like she focused on healing rather than watching the clock. I trusted her completely and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The masseur, Helen, had wonderfully strong hands and the hour was a needed gift to my body and back and neck. The addition of hot rocks was amazing! I thought she would leave rocks passively but she slid them over the spots I with large muscles and it felt amazing! My husband like his massage so much he fell asleep haha. All in all would totally recommend this place for your own sake or for sharing with others. For the price it was 1000% worth it!

My personal was extremely rough I was starting to take it personal. She scratched my scalp so hard it burns. My neck feels bruised. My hair was pulled several times and not a slight pull either. Also I booked a full body massage I didn't know that came with rubbing oils aggressively on my face?? And then proceeded to drag my makeup I had on my face into my hair to scratch my scalp ?? There was nothing relaxing I felt worse than when I came in. It's hard for me to speak up which is why I didn't report it to the receptionist. As for my friend who was in the room with me. Her experience was great. She was relaxed and mentioned her face wasn't touched, so why was mine ? But because I am nice I will not be sharing her name. I just hope that they read this and fix it. Because you're getting paid for this job.
