On July 19, 2026, I had an 8:00 PM Thai massage appointment and didn't request a specific therapist. When I arrived, I waited until about 8:15 PM before anyone came outside to greet me. It seemed like no one was aware of my appointment, which was confusing. While I was waiting, I even called the business from inside to see if anyone would answer the phone, but no one did. Once the massage started with Cleo, it felt rushed and wasn't the relaxing experience I'd had during my previous visits. I'm not aware of massage therapist techniques, but I felt like something wasn't right during the upper body portion of the massage. My positioning wasn't corrected until halfway through the shoulder and neck work, which left me feeling uneasy. It was also fairly loud because of the restaurant next door. I understand that's outside the business's control, but if you're able to choose your room, I'd recommend requesting one that's not along the exterior wall facing the restaurant. Unfortunately, the biggest issue came afterward. Since that massage, I've experienced ongoing neck pain and nerve pain. As of August 1, I still can't fully turn my neck left or right and have had to begin physical therapy and chiropractic treatment. I understand that there are inherent risks with massage therapy and that every person's body responds differently, so I'm not suggesting this was intentional or that there are never risks involved. However, I do think it's important for the business to be mindful of therapist technique, proper client positioning, and overall client safety. I genuinely wanted to continue supporting this business because my first two visits were great, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, reviews what happened, and ensures clients receive the same level of care and attention that originally made me want to come back.

I've been in constant pain for 1.5 years, and had gone through 15 PT sessions elsewhere that actually made me feel worse. I had to get a steroid shot and 10 acupuncture sessions to help with the pain. After all these things, certain movements still caused stabbing pain on my shoulders, and my movements are so restricted that I need daily help reaching for things. I was not able to sleep without my pain in my shoulder either, which impacted my quality of life. Dr. Alison Wu has worked on me since March. She is so approachable, and she manually works on different areas of my body to help my shoulder heal. She does not ignore my pain tolerance during treatment sessions, and explains what she is doing and what I should feel as she works. Her exercises and recommendations are so helpful to maintain the progress at home. In June, I finally started sleeping through the night. I continue to sleep without pain since then, which is so very important. Each week, my range of movement continue to improve, and most importantly, the movements are not accompanied by restrictive pain. Last week, I was able to finally move myself off the couch without needing help, and I was not in pain. I cried because it was such a relief to be able to do simple movements independently without pain, and finally being able to get consistent, restful sleep. I also started acupuncture with Dr. Rebecca Chou. She listens really well and assesses my acupuncture needs during the visit. While the focus is to help my shoulder heal, she also helps my body rest. Trisha at the front desk is so welcoming and friendly, and always so accommodating. My family had to make the financial commitment to pay out of pocket for these visits, but it's worth it to regain mobility and live without pain. I have a very physically taxing job that often leaves me feeling beat up and exhausted by the end of the week. So I do plenty of exercise and stretches. But I've been struggling with pain and discomfort in my neck and lower back. My mobility suffering. I'm so glad I came to Rebecca. I have been to many different massage theraphists over the years and was always experiencing certains levels of pain discomfort during the sessions so I was hesitant going to Rebecca at first. However, I was very lucky to be proven wrong, as during the first session, Rebecca was alble to make me feel completely relaxed and pain free while working her magic on me. She was very attentive and methodical about all of my concerns and was able to release some of my trigger points in one session.
