I needed a neuromuscular/trigger point massage and was lucky enough to see Han at Thrive Wellness. I am so happy that I went! Some background, I am a massage therapist and I had injured my right leg somehow. Issues with range-of-motiin, a lot of pain with all motion including sitting. My sciatica nerve was angry, my lower back was angry, and my hamstrings were furious!! I spoke with Han and he was super knowledgeable, and quick to act. I could easily stay for a 2 hr because the therapy hurt so good! My right leg couldn't straighten in any way, and after only halfway into the massage I could feel my muscles release. My calf stopped cramping, and my core muscles felt much better. I will most definitely see Han again for treatment. His room is very spacious and just lovely with plants and a gorgeous antique desk that I'd love to have. The only slight issue is that the business is upstairs with no elevator it's only a short flight of stairs though, and the building is in the beautiful Stevens Square downtown Tustin. If you're looking for a massage therapist that can actually help with your pain, then Han is that therapist. read more

Super bummed that I had to cancel my Thrive Wellness couples appt due to provider inability. It's more annoying as I booked this massage back on June 16 but it wasn't until today, June 29, that Thrive Wellness called to let me know. They did offer to reschedule or have my partner and I go one at a time with the massager on staff but that defeats what I had planned for the 4th of July weekend and the spirit of a couples massage. After hurting my lower back while deadlifting, I searched Yelp and was lucky to find Rebecca. What stood out was that her specific type of massage is for injuries. I went once and was almost 100% better but unfortunately pushed myself too hard and made things worse. I tried looking up different stretches and exercises on YouTube/instagram but they only provided me temporary relief. Three to four weeks later things weren't improving so I decided to go back to Rebecca. I went back once a week for four weeks and each time I got a little better and a little better until I'm now pain free. It's pretty amazing how she can find your trigger points and as she says "it hurts so good". I still did stretches, some yoga poses, and continued to do exercises that didn't worsen the back pain.
