It was relaxing but I will say I have had better. They were really repetitive in their massage and almost like robotic, but a good touch...perhaps it was an off day. We were able to make an appointment for a couples massage over the phone. The person was helpful and friendly in making our appointment. They only have women masseuse which is nice - I prefer women so it's nice not to have to mention that. I got the deep tissue massage focused on shoulder and neck, which was just okay. My masseuse used her forearm a lot and I don't think she really felt for the knots in my neck and shoulder area and kept pressing, so I still had to come home and take care of some of them. You can't beat their affordable prices, masseuses, and service. I randomly chose Amy when I booked online because she was the first one on the list. I'm happy with my choice because she was amazing. I asked for medium pressure and she delivered. She asked me if the pressure was okay, which I appreciated. The stretching was one of the highlights. It felt great and I needed a good stretching. They have a plethora of massage services and options here, which I like, so it can tailor to your preferences. The 90 min deep tissue service was heavenly! I requested the therapist to spend about 20 minutes for scalp massage and foot reflexology and she listened. The pressure was on point and not rushed. Zoe focused on my problem areas (neck, shoulder, upper and lower back) for the most part with just enough pressure. I'm so glad I tried this place and will definitely be back again to try other therapists. If you're a first time new client, some of their services will have extra add-on's for a discounted price so take advantage of that! This was my first time seeing Tina, and I can honestly say she exceeded every one of them. She is, without question, the best massage therapist I've ever been to. From the moment the session started, it was clear that Tina has an incredible understanding of the body. She was able to identify areas of tension that I didn't even realize were contributing to my discomfort. Her technique is the perfect balance of therapeutic and relaxing--firm enough to work out deep knots and tightness, yet never uncomfortable. What impressed me most was how intuitive she was throughout the massage. She seemed to know exactly where to focus, how much pressure to use, and how to address problem areas without me having to constantly explain what was bothering me. By the end of the session, I felt noticeably looser, lighter, and more relaxed than I have after any massage in recent memory. This was the worst massage experience I've EVER had! They were extremely rude and were way too rough even when I asked them to be more gentle. They put roasting hot stones on my back that burnt so bad. I asked them to take it off but they told me "no, it's fine temperature." I had to take them off myself. They left me with a burn from the hot stones which burnt like hell for weeks. I applied ointment everyday thinking it would go away but 2 months later, It's now scarred and ruined my tattoo! Response to business: Thanks for the detailed explanation, but it doesn't change what actually happened. The stones were painfully hot.. far beyond "relaxing" and trying to explain that away by saying your therapists can hold them doesn't magically make my experience any less real. Clearly, what touched my skin was too hot. That's the issue. And just to get ahead of any assumptions, I don't have sensitive skin. This wasn't some mild reaction or me being overly sensitive. This was excessive heat, plain and simple. The whole "clients can stop the service" point is also a bit of a cop-out. It shouldn't get to the point where a client is in pain and has to speak up mid-service just to avoid getting burned. Monitoring heat and adjusting accordingly is literally part of the job. And let's not gloss over the biggest problem--my tattoo was affected. Actually, "affected" is putting it lightly. The heat essentially fried it. That's permanent damage to something that cost time, money, and care, and it's not something you can just explain away with your standard procedures. Saying that your methods don't cause the kind of burns I described comes across as dismissive rather than helpful. It happened. That's why I left the review. I'll pass on the 30% discount. I'm not interested in paying again to see if I get a different outcome. Hopefully this is taken seriously instead of brushed off again. read more
