The manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) treatment that I have received from Angelica has been life changing! I have had a tough 3 years navigating an overwhelming increase with debilitating chronic pain and chronic fatigue, while also recovering from two laparoscopies due to endometriosis and pelvic pain. I thought I had tried it all (supplements, acupuncture, pelvic floor and posture therapies, yoga, meditation, various exercise programs, etc). She is so kind and patient, and truly educated me on what my lymphatic system is, why the lymphatic system can stop working effectively, and how to keep it healthy. She has a wealth of knowledge!! Angelica introduced me to compression garments and dry brushing and suggested a gentle walking routine. Like a good student, I followed my homework, and after the first couple of sessions I felt like a new person. Over the last two months of weekly sessions, I've truly had too many WINS to count. Here are the main ones: -My swelling is significantly reduced -I am more aware of my body, and what causes my swelling. I am able to avoid triggers and/or use my compression garments to control swelling -My WBC count is the highest it has ever been and in normal range for the first time! -I have not had the GI issues that I had prior to starting MLD (which I'm SO thankful for!) -While I can't say my chronic pain and fatigue are gone, they are significantly less debilitating and my flare-ups do not last as long and aren't as frequent Thank you, Angelica!! Angel is literally... an angel. I found her on yelp after desperately needing a lymphatic drainage massage after I naively went somewhere else and they ended up creating more trauma and bruising to my surgery area. (Please do your research when searching for post op care because not everyone knows what they are doing.) I wish I had found Angel sooner but I'm glad it wasn't too late for me when she started working on my bruised and hardened areas. Angel was honest with me and she is also very knowledgeable about post op care. I took all of her advice and 4 sessions later my hardened areas and bruising has gone down tremendously. I want to say it was magic but it was truly her skills. She really knows what she's doing and she cares about her clients. My MLD massage is painless and super relaxing. I always fall asleep during the session and I leave feeling better than ever. Also, at the end of my session Angel gives me a big bottle of alkaline water (that water is expensive!) that just shows she really cares about giving her clients quality. I found Angelz Spa through Yelp and decided to make an appointment to try out her lympathic drainage massage based on her good reviews. I am SO glad that I did because she is SUPER experienced, knowledgeable and caring! I got my first massage at about 10 days post-op and she gave me so much good information about healing, I feel like it has really helped me pay more attention to my body and how it is healing. I had some hardness in areas and some major water pockets that she has since then helped drain. I came to Angel for a lymphatic drainage massage, because I was sick with the flu. She said she could help me open up my sinuses and get things flowing. I was my first experience with this type of massage, so I wasn't sure what to expect. She focused on my face and neck; her gentle, soothing touch was very relaxing, and the soft pressure helped me breathe better. Her room is so beautiful and inviting, and the minute you walk in, you start feeling at peace. She uses oils and aromatherapy (which I love) to increase the benefits of the massage. I had my first session with Angel today doing lymphatic drainage and I can't wait to come back for another variation of massage. I felt so, so relaxed just upon walking in. I have had many massages in the past. After more than one visit I noticed I never got the same relief I did at first. That is not the case with Angel. I felt great after every massage. She always focused on the areas that bothered me the most. Even working areas that affected my problem areas. Don't let her pixish size fool you. I'm not much of a massage person but I was recommended Angelz Spa by a friend and thought I would check it out. The massage therapist was a cool dude name Moses. He said he was new to Angelz Spa but he has been a massage therapist for over 12 years and you can definitely tell he knows what he was doing. It was a great massage and I recommend Moses if you're really looking for a great massage. What's nice is that Angelz Spa is located in the less congested side of the District in Tustin. Take Tustin Ranch Rd. to exit/enter or even Warner Ave., just don't take "The District Street" you will be stuck on that road for a while. Park near Bluewater Grill Seafood and it's a short walk. So if you're near the The District/Tustin/Irvine area definitely check this place out and ask for Moses. No doubt ill be back! I got referred over to Angelica for a 60min deep tissue massage. Being a personal trainer, there are certain areas you cant quite get through foam rolling stretching, etc. I have a shoulder injury and have a tendency to be stiff in upper back and chest.
