The birds can be a bit annoying, but guess that comes with the great outdoors. Definitely a nice spot to chill, take a walk and get those steps in. This area feels safe and well maintained. When I went, there weren't too many people, so it was pretty peaceful. The trail can get busy and there are bathrooms along the way (I didn't use them though) There's plenty of parking here, but just be sure you leave on time for closing. I've heard they lock up and it can be an issue with getting out. (not sure how true this is but I won't chance it) There is more parking elsewhere with trail access too, I just personally haven't found it.

The boat was clean, comfortable, and perfectly warm even with the breeze on the water. Super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a memorable experience for my friends bachelorette party. Do not be discouraged by the other ratings on this site, I highly, highly recommend and think this is the perfect addition to any plan in San Diego. It will create a lifetime memory. When we first arrived, most of us needed to use the restroom (since there isn't one on the boat), and the girl working at check-in seemed a bit annoyed by that. However, once we got on the boat, she was totally fine and helpful. A few things to note: someone in your group does have to drive the boat, so plan ahead for that. You can bring your own 21+ drinks as long as they're not in glass containers, and you'll need to bring your own ice. Once you're out on the water, it's pretty lively with lots of other boats and people. We played our own music and just hung out--it was a really fun, chill experience. The two hours definitely go by fast, so keep an eye on the time. They're strict about going over, even by a minute, so we set a timer and started heading back 30 minutes before our end time. Overall, a fun and unique experience we'd recommend!

Most of the sites are completely barren with dead grass and bushes, and the view is primarily dead-brush-covered hills with the occasional view of the city below. The campsites are raised on a hill so the lake is barely visible. Even if it is, you are not allowed to interact with it except for fishing, so there is hardly a point. The sun relentlessly beats down on the ground, with the only shade being from sparse trees. The only reason this is not a zero star review (besides the app not allowing it) is for the staff, who were polite and very helpful. Never again.

We Made it to Montana!!!…read more I can't say enough good things about Henry's Trailers. The weekend before a family trip to Montana, one of my trailer axles failed catastrophically while I was loading up to leave. What made it even more frustrating was that another shop had recently inspected and repacked the bearings, yet the axle still smoked and failed shortly afterward. When I called Henry's, they were already slammed with work and initially didn't have room in the schedule. After hearing my situation and understanding that I had a family trip planned, Holly and the team went out of their way to fit me in. That kind of customer service is rare these days. They replaced my axles, got everything taken care of quickly, and gave me confidence that the trailer was ready for a long trip. We successfully made it all the way to Montana and back down the west coast, 4300 miles without a single issue. Holly was amazing throughout the process, and the entire team was accommodating, professional, and clearly takes pride in their work. The fact that they're so busy is a testament to the quality of their reputation and workmanship. If you need trailer service, repairs, or axle work, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Henry's Trailers. They turned a potential trip-ending disaster into a great family vacation.
