Tyler of Total Tint & Detail did our job. He was recommended to us by a friend. I used him 2 years ago and he did an outstanding job! Bought a new car and it was time to call again. He answered my call within the hour and setup a time to perform the work. Unfortunately I had to change plans and cancel the appt for the following week. He was flexible and open to a new appointment when I called. Again he was responsive to my phone call and setup up an appointment for two days from time of call. He arrived on time with proper materials and ready to go without delay. He covered 4 side windows, 4 opera windows & rear window at an extremely reasonable price at my home. His work was as expected, outstanding. I would and will use him again the next time I need tint work done. read more

Tyler was very accommodating and his fellas made my boat look like new again. The boat had horrible water spots and some scaling under the swim step. It was pretty filthy. Carpet and upholstery were very dirty from long week of travel and being vacationing on the water for days. All beautiful now! It's showroom shiny! Had a really bad scratch that bummed me out . They made it barely noticeable! Soo happy with the outcome. Looks way better than I expected. They were very detailed, very friendly and professional. All the fellas that work for him were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend these fellas for any service they provide. We saw a beautiful tint job they were working on while we were there. Impressive! read more

Waste of money- we have now been back 4 times. We are currently waiting outside the shop for someone who was supposed to meet us at 9. It's 9:10. We called the owner who was completely rude over the phone and said "someone will be there just wait" and hung up on us. Not sure if he remembers he's in customer service. Tint job is crap. Has had bubbles since day one. Left a residue all over the interior light casing. We have brought it back 4 times in the last year and a half. read more

Tyler was super responsive and did a great job on our new car! We've brought several cars to him over the years and will continue to do so!

So happy!! I have had three different vehicles tinted with Tyler and also had paint protection film installed on my brand new suburban and I just couldn't be more happy with the outcome. The windows did have a few tiny bubbles the first day but Tyler assured me that it's all part of the installation process and I just needed to let them dry and sure enough two days later they were gone and the tint looks amazing!! He also powder coated my BMW wheels black!!!!! Thank you Tyler! read more

Tyler and his guys did a fantastic job! Easy communication to set up the appointment, left the car to allow them to tint and clean the outside, and picked up a couple hours later. Great film with lifetime warranty, excellent installation, and the best price out there! read more

I've been using this business for both work and personally for many years. Professional, outstanding quality and workmanship on every job.

They did the windows on my new car. Professional, very accommodating, and fair priced. The owner and I dealt with each other directly. I was referred by a friend. He was prompt, clear, and patient with me. I had about a million questions. Lol he even went above and beyond when I accidentally rolled my window down at a drive through. Even though I knew better. his staff is very professional and friendly as well. My tint came out amazing and I get compliments on it all the time! Definitely recommend him if you want a clean look! Thank you for all your help! read more

I bought a car with a beautiful paint job and I wanted to preserve it. I looked all around San Diego for the right group to take care of my car. Tyler at Total Tint was professional and right to the point. He answered all my questions and has great prices. I TOTALLY recommend Total Tint for clear bras or any other auto paint jon needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) My car looks amazing. read more

Tyler is the best! Friendly, honest, and straight forward. All around great business. He's tinted 3 vehicles for me over previous years and I'll never use anyone else. He also does clear bras, ceramic coatings, and all types of customization as well, so he's a one stop shop read more

This place is a complete joke they tried to tent my windows but could not get the job done the next day it starting to bubble they also damaged my vehicle I've been waiting for the owner to get back to me but every time I talk to him he gives me an attitude read more

Not professional, terrible service. He tinted my car and missed TWO front windows. It took three months for him to even show up after several appointments HE missed. He didn't even call, email text or whatever. When he finally got there to finish the job we paid for months ago, I discovered he cut into the molding around the small windows he just tinted. I would never recommend someone so careless and so unprofessional. read more

Tyler is the man! He turned my 2016 Taco into a better looking truck. Blacked out my grill and emblems, powder coated my stock wheels, and put vinyl on the roof. These minor changes made a huge difference in the appearance of my truck. Extremely happy on how it turned out. And it only took him a few days to do all of it. Super fast and reliable service! He also gave me a ride so I could pick up a vehicle to drive while he worked on mine?! Now that's awesome customer service! Looking forward to getting more work done from him in the future. Highly recommend. Rather than setting up separate appointments to get different things done, he makes things way easier by being your one stop shop. He turned a 1-2 week job into a few days..what more could you ask for! read more

I used Tyler 10 plus years ago to tint my car and the tint looked just as good as the day I had it done Just had another car tinted today. Still did an amazing job. Was done with the job in an hour! Great price and on time read more

Tyler did a great job tinting and vinyl wrapping the mirrors on my wife's Yukon. They look amazing. I highly recommend Total Tint & Detail to everyone I know. Also, about 6 weeks ago, Tyler tinted my class A motorhome and 12 windows on the front of my house. The tint looks amazing and has dramatically reduced the amount of heat that comes through the house windows when the sun is going down in the afternoon. Total Tint & Detail is the only company I trust for quality work in a timely fashion. Highly recommend. read more

Gave Tyler thousands of dollars of work on my racecar and another vehicle I own. Always paid in full immediately and with no disputes after he finished each job. A while ago, I had need for some additional work--called multiple times, many with no answer or when I reached Tyler he said he would look over his schedule and get back to me. The latter conversations occurred at least twice and he never called back. Also referred a friend who left multiple messages without getting a reply. I get the impression he's too busy to work small jobs for repeat customers, take on new customers or he's short on help...there are plenty of other options for this service and I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere in the future. Even a call back saying I should find another resource would have been better than just completely ignoring my requests to give him additional business. read more

We had Total Tint and Detail out to detail the outside of our 35 foot trailer. Bryce was professional and a hard worker. Our trailer is now gleaming with shine after the hours of waxing and Bryce's careful attention. Would definitely recommend this hard working and professional company to get your car, boat, motorhome or trailer detailed! Thank you. read more

They provided me very good service and high quality of tints. I am very satisfied with service

Bryce did an awesome job on my detail! He was very professional when he walked into my place of work and met the receptionist. Bonus, I didn't even have to leave our building to have him get started. Once he was finished he returned my keys to me and showed me his work. I was really impressed with the whole process and will definitely be using Total Tint again. read more

I have used Tyler over the past several year at myAuto & RV Collison repair business. He has always been prompt and professional with his service. Although not without flaw, Tyler has always remidied the situation and made myself and my customers extremely happy. His field of work requires a great deal of talent and patience, and sometimes perfection isn't acheived, if you want your work perfect, tell him, get out your wallet and pay him the extra for it....he can do it. I find that people on yelp that give bad reviews, are the ones that haggle for a very low price, and say hey are not picky, are generally the ones giving bad reviews. I have be in the Auto Rv repair business all my life, and if there is a business out there that deserves a solid 5 star rating........its Tylers, "Total Tint & Detailing"......!!!! read more

*****Updating feedback with more detail and information. Over the years I have worked with Tyler on numerous cars and an RV, for detailing and window tinting, establishing myself as a repeat customer, and I recommended him to friends, family, and acquaintances alike. Tyler's work ethic and attention to detail was fantastic. Tyler's service area and availability accommodated coming to my area fairly regularly. ***** On one occasion, Tyler came out to try to detail out what turned out to be a really bad touch up paint job on my car. Tyler gave it his best effort, but the paint was just too messed up to be saved, and needed to be repainted. Tyler was honest and sincere, and left without charging me, after he had spent time trying to repair the foul-up. ***Stand up guy. Lately, his business appears to have grown so much, that his ability to get to my area is really, really limited - unfortunately for me. Tyler and I have spoken on the phone and we will continue to try to coordinate getting together and getting my tint-warranty work completed Update November, 2016 - finally was able to coordinate, schedule, and complete getting my failing window tint replaced. read more

Tyler is amazing! I recently bought a 2014 Lexus ES 350 which comes with NO factory tint. Tyler did an amazing job and my vehicle looks top of the line. He also just detailed my car. I used the Armor All wipes and it left streaks everywhere on the interior. Tyler was able to get all of that out and put my car back to new. He is VERY affordable and fast! I love that he is mobile and will come to me while I work. I can enjoy my weekends and not spend them at a car wash! This is the third vehicle Tyler has tinted for us. read more

Did a good job, had two vehicles done. Have an issue with vehicle, called 4 times to try to get it taken care of, never got a call back, now I will need to take it to someone else to get it fixed. read more

Not very pleased! Will not be getting my tint redone. There was bubbles and dirt particles in the tint which are very Visible when you have dark black tint. He has redone it once and when I tried to set up another appointment for the same reason. He said that along the lines that I'm a difficult person to please. I know tint will not be perfect but I have gotten many cars tinted before with other tinting groups who I had no issue with me and their tint never looked like this and I never had to set up a fix it appointment. But I heard this guy was good, so I thought I should try something new but so far no good! I'm done! Now he won't take the tint off or anything and is not answering my calls. So now I have to pay my old guy to remove the old tint and replace it with the new tint which will be 3x as much if I just stuck with my usual guy it's ridiculous. So much for customer satisfaction and lifetime warranty on tint. read more

Tyler did a great job on my 2014 Subaru STI hatch. Only spoke with him over the phone but he was extremely helpful and provided me with great detail about the product being installed. He came down and installed the tint while my car was getting some vinyl wrap done and I was at work. I got several quotes from other tint services and Tyler offered very competitive pricing. I highly recommend Total Tint & Detail!! read more

Tyler did a tint job on my BMW E30 and it came out nasty. I noticed right away that bubbles were present at the corners of the glass but he told me to give it a few days to "dry up" and the bubbles would disappear. After 5 days, I called him and told him the bubbles never went away and he promised to stop by and re-do the glass. All he gave me was "LIP Service" and he never showed up for the appointment. I end up spending more to re-do the tint job. I you want a good tint job, go someplace else. read more

Tyler is awesome! He's also old-school, i.e. prompt (actually he was 15 minutes early), professional, courteous, and isn't in too busy to be personable. I've had the pleasure of having him tint three of my vehicles on separate occasions and will hire him again in the future. His work has been flawless. He doesn't treat you like a number and I've even witnessed him take an apprentice under his wing to show him the trade. He takes care of folks and will take care of you. read more

Tyler did fantastic work tinting my car! He also did our garage door windows and they look beautiful! It's a pleasure to work with someone who is so professional and meticulous. I highly recommend him! read more

I had Tyler tint all 3 of my vehicles & the tint was coming off on the top of the driver & passenger side window of two of the vehicles witch he had to redo & one of them after the second time now has bubbles in it. The other vehicle the front windshield in different areas specially on the driver side is blurry. He said the water under it needs to dry, the blurry never went away. Shortly after that I had him tint the hole house. Every window in the house has bubbles in it, again he said the water needs to dry and it could take a mouth to go away. Then he did my parents truck, also the tint on the top was pilling off. He redid that, & that to come off. So they took somewhere else & had it redone. He kept blaming it on the film. So I had two other companies come out to take a look @ my house & trucks. They couldn't believe the workman ship. they said he cleanly didn't clean the widows good enough. There is sand on the film or windows & that why the bubbles never went away. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY BUDDY AND I THINK HE IS WAY OVER PRICED. Because the to companies I had come out for my house was $500 & $800 dollars cheaper. read more
