This is my second vehicle I've had tinted here, and the experience has been just as solid as the first. Nick was the rep I worked with--super friendly and very responsive throughout the whole process. About a month later I noticed a small cosmetic issue and reached out. He got me in the same day and re-tinted the window at no cost. That kind of customer service is hard to find. Highly recommend this shop if you want quality work and people who stand behind it. read more

Communication was quick and easy. Nick was able to get me in for an appointment the next day. He took the time to explain the differences in the ceramic tint and was so nice and honest. He did a great job on my Mercedes and his prices are very reasonable. I will be bringing my husband's Tundra in soon for a tint job as well! read more

Had a great experience from start to finish. They were very responsive on Yelp. I made an appointment for Saturday morning, and they were literally waiting for me when I arrived. They were knowledgeable and explained my options to me. Their waiting room had wi-fi and a TV. They did very quick work, and I've had no issues with the installation thus far. Very competitively priced, too. read more

This shop is fantastic. They have done five of my cars. I need to stop buying cars. I highly recommend them.

They've tinted two of my vehicles and they both came out perfect! Fast install and fair prices!

Awesome job tinting my Tesla model 3. Quality work at a fair price. Will definitely be back with my other vehicles.

Got a new car and did some research on where to go for a tint (a place I went to before had closed down). Requested a quote and Nick was friendly and really quick to respond - pricing definitely competitive with others so I setup an appointment. Customer service was great, he walked me through different options and pricing, and the job was done quickly and turned out really nice! I highly recommend this place, or at least at a minimum, reach out to Nick, get a quote, and walk through some options. I'll be recommending this place to my family and friends. If you need to work while waiting they have a comfortable office to lounge in with WiFi. read more

Experience was great! Nick was fast to respond to my inquiry on yelp, got scheduled for later that week and then when I got there they went over the different percentages and provided their opinion on the windshield, I went with 10% for the back, 20% for the front, and just the film for the windshield as my goal was to keep the heat down. They were done faster than their estimate and the truck had no signs of any applicator on the inside (the last place that tinted my car rushed through and left the car a mess with applicator that wouldn't clean off). Overall very happy with the quality and looking to take my wife's car in next. The first two photos are the day of and the full photo is a week later. read more

They did a great job! Got in the day I wanted, service was quick and quality you hope for.

I brought my 2024 Mustang GT here for tint. Nick answered all my questions, showed me multiple examples of product, and helped me make the right decision on transparency for my new car. The work was fast and professional. I couldn't find a single piece of film that was poorly cut or applied. It's literally perfect. Prices were very reasonable and inline with competing quotes I received for quality ceramic film. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. read more

The job looked great. The options were carefully explained and there was no upsell. In fact, when I discussed having the front "stripe" put on the windshield, the fact that the windshield was high and probably wouldn't do me much good for driving purposes was pointed out. Especially since I am short. I wanted it done anyway in order to mitigate the effects of the sun as much as possible. We keep our cars a long time so we put money into them upfront to lessen the wear and tear on interior and exterior surfaces. He also explained that I couldn't use my window ledge cupholders as that would scratch the tint and that I shouldn't wash the vehicle for 3-5 days or roll the windows up/down. Apparently there is a "curing" time. read more

Allow me to introduce you to one of the best kept secrets in San Diego. It's a unique and growing business called "The Local Tint Shop," owned by Mr. Nick Meehan. Nick's tint shop is located in Suite 106, 7945 Mission Gorge Rd., Santee, CA 92071. That's 2.5 miles west of Cuyamaca and Mission Gorge Road. Or, 1.6 miles west of 125's north-most exit. The nearest exit off of 52 is Mast Blvd. Better yet, just plug the address into your GPS unit and your good to go. What I like about Nick is that he is a true hands-on professional with years of experience, yet he comes across in a very humble, unassuming manner. He'll do a Blue Ribbon job on your favorite ride . . . be it Ferrari, Bentley, Bimmer, or Benz . . . Mustang, Corvette, Charger, or Caddy . . . lifted truck, project car, resto-mod, or even your daily driver. Nick'll use the best techniques, latest technology, and highest quality products on the market. No matter what wheels you bring, he'll do the same great job, guaranteed to meet your highest standards because he has the same high standards--as do the guys that work with him. I know, because he's done two or three of my rides. There are other tint shops out there but Nick gets my vote on all counts. I invite you to go chat with him and bring your wheels along to weight the options. Oh, I almost forgot, Nick's pricing is fair, competitive, and honest. He'll even work with you to arrive at a mutually workable plan. RM read more

I got a car and the front windows were not tinted. I reached out to many tint companies and this one was the only one that messaged me back and forth withing minutes. I made my appointment for Saturday at 2 pm and was there by 1:20pm, because a friend needed something for their car as well. Nick was great! Awesome customer service and even though they were busy he took the time to speak to us. Me not knowing anything about tint windows he told me what he was going to do and really made me feel safe since I was there with my 2 kids. He told me that they had a lobby where we more than welcome to sit. I ended up having my kids run around in the are. My son had to use the bathroom and I was VERY nervous because I've been to auto shops were the bathrooms look like you can get something from walking in BUT THIS WAS THE CLEANEST BATHROOM EVER!!! Thank you so much Nick for the amazing job on my windows and the customer service!!! You have a customer for life! read more
