Great place. Austin greeted us at the door with a great smile and seated and waited on us. Very good waiter and the food portions were large and very good. All the train memorbilia is interesting and a train went by while we were there.

    Hot Turkey sandwich

Stopped on our way up north and the food and service was good . Had the hot turkey sandwich and chicken noodle soup. My son had the club car sandwich with fries that he loved. Everything was good on the way up. My son wanted this sandwich on the way home so we stopped again. Figured I'd try the hot beef sandwich and a bowl of chili and my son having the club car sandwich with chili. Well they didn't have the hot beef sandwich so had to have the turkey again. They had no chili so I went for Chicken noodle soup and then they didn't have that. Was extremely disappointing visit on way home.

The Depot is great at doing what they do. This is a family diner with very Michigan-country style food. It is exactly the type of food that I would expect to get at any diner in the Midwest. Their menu consists of Reubens, club sandwiches, fish and chips, homestyle breakfasts, fried pickles and more. You get a big ol' plate of food for a really great price. I couldn't believe how cheap their desserts and pastries were too. I had a giant turnover for like $2 or something crazy like that. The Depot is really cute inside with natural light, a beautiful wall color, comfy booths and regular bistro style seating. The servers are attentive and friendly. This is not usually my go-to style of dining, but it's definitely the type of place that you can go with your entire family and everyone will find something on their menu to enjoy.

Stopped here on our way home from our cottage. The restaurant is train themed, because it's in an old train depot. The place is peppered with charming old photos. There is even a caboose for the kids to play on near the entrance. They also have a toy train that goes around the ceiling. It's just a cool place if you have kiddos or love history. Was very pleased to see they have all day breakfast for my pancake loving kiddo! He got the Mickey Mouse pancakes. Had chocolate chips for eyes and a nose and a piece of bacon for the mouth. He ate every single bite. I ordered the taco salad and it was very good nothing to write home about but will definitely get again. My husband got the chicken fried steak and loved it so much that I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of it. They also have a ton of different pies and turnovers and cookies to choose from. Lemon Meringue pie is my absolute favorite and I was able to get a piece of that. They also have peanut butter pie, pecan pie, coconut cream pie, cherry pie, apple pie.... you name it is so good and you can tell everything is made from scratch. Will Definitely be back for breakfast again!

Yum. The service was awesome and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!

Manager was a cheapskate. Wanted to up-charge for their mistakes. Won the battle, but loss the war. I won't be coming back.

Good atmosphere. Food is okay and service is not the best if it gets busy. I'd try to go at non busy hours.

The staff was extremely friendly and vibe was perfect, not too loud where you can't hear a conversation but also not super quiet. I wound up ordering a flight of the ciders, because I couldn't decide which one to go with, and they were all delicious. The blueberry cider was probably my favorite if I had to pick just one. I also decided to order the beer cheese and pretzels, which were also very good. If you're in the Newaygo area, definitely stop by for a beer (or cider)!

I ordered a flight of 4 beers and cider; at around $9 for a flight, the price was more than right to enjoy a variety of flavors. My favorite was the passionfruit sour, but all were great! I was surprised to even like the spruce-flavored citrus IPA (after taking a sip of the sample my friend ordered) - which is something I might not have tried myself. Also, I'm not usually a brown ale fan, but I thought the Coconut Brown Ale was delicious (candy-bar-esque in the best way). My fiancé and I split the spicy beer cheese appetizer, which came with soft baked pretzels and was a yummy pairing. I did not know what to expect from this brewery and, after visiting, would absolutely recommend it and return here - noting the variety of drinks, food (much more of a restaurant environment than anticipated!), and seating (bar seats, high top tables, booths, regular tables, even outdoor seating).

The atmosphere they've created is cute, welcoming, and very family friendly. One of the servers argued about giving us a wrong sample, but a different staff member agreed and gave us the correct one. As I was reading the Michigan BrewTrail magazine I ran across their advertisement page, and was confused that it had a Grand Rapids address so It prompted me to do a little research. After a deep dive I found out that they are a farm/farmers market and a restaurant, cider/winery. If you Yelp search you won't find their restaurant, cider/winery because it pops up as Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm Market. This new Pink Barrel Cellars page should help separate this from just a farmers market, and help highlight some of their amazing food and drink. I went on their last day of live music according to their online schedule. When I showed up the parking lot was full and there was well over 100 people there. If you go inside you will immediately notice that this place is so much more than a farmers market. In the back they have a bar serving some amazing ales, seltzers, stouts, ciders, and wine by the glass. In the middle they have fresh donuts, wine by the bottle, fresh fruits and vegetables for sale. Near the front they have a food stand. All the employees were spectacular and very informative. I had many questions, and they were all very Knowledgeable. Found out they have a few beers that have won national beer awards. For lunch I wound up ordering the pretzel with beer cheese, and ordered a honeycrisp ale. The shareable size of the menu isn't joking. It's very large and you're gonna want to share. I was so full after my pretzel that I couldn't even think about a second beer. The beer cheese was the BEST beer cheese I've ever eaten in my life. It was out of this world. The beer was also pretty spectacular. The beer was so good that I couldn't resist the urge to buy some wine by the bottle with the hopes it was just as good. I enjoyed everything at their outdoor seating while listening to live music. If I had gone with someone I definitely would of taken advantage of cornhole and drank wine by the glass. After eating I couldn't resist walking around the farm that had a ton of people running and smiling. In the back I observed the piggies, Eddie and Joe, napping. Also got to say hi to their pony's and goats . I walked through the orchard, and also the pick your own pumpkin patch. They have a huge slidefor the kids, and a playground. Highly recommend following this place on social media to stay up to date on menu changes, and event updates. Such an eventful Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth the visit.

We were seated right away and our server was super helpful and had great recommendations. The menu is huge and everything sounded really good. I really enjoyed the food - the salmon bowl was a good portion and very fresh. I liked the veggies and the flavor was Asian-inspired. The Cudighi sandwich is basically a pizza sub with a spicy sausage patty that's been baked in mustard. It's unique and interesting, and Nate enjoyed it. We don't get to the NW side of town that often, but I would make a special trip to visit Roasted again. They have weekly specials and features, and a Saturday prime rib dinner!
