Summer favorite, located on a quaint property nestled between many lakes and cottages. Breakfast served on the weekend with rotating dinner specials on Fridays and pizza Saturdays! Comfort food with great flavor and value. Could not recommend this place enough, stop by and give it a try!

Daily special, ham and cheese quiche on croissant crust with fresh fruit $9.95

Finally had the opportunity to try this place for breakfast. I opted for the special of ham and cheese omelet with croissant crust and fresh fruit $9.95. The waitress recommended trying the special, because one could always order off the menu. Made sense to me. It was really good. The fresh fruit was a slice of orange, fresh pineapple and blueberries. Perfect serving size. Look forward to returning.

Great spot near the croton hardy dam area.... currently not doing dine in, they post take out for M/W/F and some saturdays. they have a take out/drive up window to help with exposure. CASH/CHECK only - no credit cards. Mom & I got their chicken tiki marsala for take out, mom got GLUTEN FREE, I got regular. delicious! the prior weekend, we got the wood fired pizzas - SO YUM. Again, mom was able to get gluten free. They post menu on their facebook page. Easy call in/order, drivethru pickup. LOVE THIS PLACE

The ambience and service is outstanding. The food is ok, I had bacon eggs and hash browns and toast. The bacon was thin thin transparent, the hash browns were frozen prepared. The toast was ok. The whole plate had no color. My hubby went to order omelet asked for egg whites they said they could not do that being the omelet is pre made.

We had the 2 ribs, brisket, and pork. The 2 ribs and pulled pork paired with the BBQ sauces at the table were tasty however the brisket was a bit dry. I went a different I typically don't choose and ordered the quesadilla with smoked sweet potatoes. It comes with a southwest ranch, mango salsa, and chips. The smoked isn't an obvious feature, and the pairing of the quesadilla and the southwest ranch is a really nice bite. I liked the mango salsa on its own but didn't feel as if it was needed with the quesadilla given the sweetness coming from the sweet potatoes. As for the potato chips: no complaints from me! The dish came with a side, and I opted for the potato salad. That was quite nice, especially with some extra salt. I also had some bites of other folx in my party's sides, and they were all solid. All in all, I was pleased with the cuisine and would say "yes" to the suggestion of a repeat dining experience at Dr. Rolf's. It's a nice addition to the West Michigan food scene.

It's hard to describe the way they've carved out an entirely new BBQ flavor. I had the BBQ tacos with pulled pork, which was dynamic. The parfait is certainly a unique way to deliver the whole experience in a single convenient dish. Beans in the bottom, pulled pork, with coleslaw on top. Certainly the different types of slaw influenced the overall flavor but I think it was also the way the cabbage in the slaw was rough cut instead of shredded. Siracha and Dijon were in the driver's seat with one of the slaws I tried. The staff was super friendly. Although the restaurant is a humble place it was jammed when we were there. If I lived in the area I'd probably show up once a week too! Maxons clearly captured the rural area's attention and some folks from town were there too. What a great experience. From the moment see left our vehicle we could smell the fire and the smoking meat. Wonderful! Give Maxons a try!
