    Linda's Breakfast Sandwich

Summer favorite, located on a quaint property nestled between many lakes and cottages. Breakfast served on the weekend with rotating dinner specials on Fridays and pizza Saturdays! Comfort food with great flavor and value. Could not recommend this place enough, stop by and give it a try!

Daily special, ham and cheese quiche on croissant crust with fresh fruit $9.95

Finally had the opportunity to try this place for breakfast. I opted for the special of ham and cheese omelet with croissant crust and fresh fruit $9.95. The waitress recommended trying the special, because one could always order off the menu. Made sense to me. It was really good. The fresh fruit was a slice of orange, fresh pineapple and blueberries. Perfect serving size. Look forward to returning.

Great spot near the croton hardy dam area.... currently not doing dine in, they post take out for M/W/F and some saturdays. they have a take out/drive up window to help with exposure. CASH/CHECK only - no credit cards. Mom & I got their chicken tiki marsala for take out, mom got GLUTEN FREE, I got regular. delicious! the prior weekend, we got the wood fired pizzas - SO YUM. Again, mom was able to get gluten free. They post menu on their facebook page. Easy call in/order, drivethru pickup. LOVE THIS PLACE

The ambience and service is outstanding. The food is ok, I had bacon eggs and hash browns and toast. The bacon was thin thin transparent, the hash browns were frozen prepared. The toast was ok. The whole plate had no color. My hubby went to order omelet asked for egg whites they said they could not do that being the omelet is pre made.

The first choice was unavailable, then the second, then the third. After joking with our server that if the fourth beer wasn't available she should just bring us both Cokes, she returned to let us know that one was unavailable as well. To her credit, she did bring the Cokes!! After placing our order, there was a lengthy wait before any food arrived. We were at the restaurant far longer than expected for a meal consisting of soup, salad, and a steak dinner. Unfortunately, much of the food was barely warm, and some items that should have been served hot were cold. My husband ordered the porterhouse steak with French onion soup, waffle fries, and coleslaw. I ordered the fried goat cheese salad and onion petals. The waffle fries and onion petals were cold when served. When our server checked on us, we politely mentioned the issue. The waffle fries and onion petals were remade, but while the fries came back hot, the onion petals were still cold. Beyond that, there was little effort made to address the rest of the meal or improve the experience.

This is a place that truly represented what a family restaurant was to me. It's changed a bit now…read more The giant painting of the city of Palermo no longer hangs on the western wall, the Italian colors in the form of curtains have been replaced. The exquisite fried zucchinis my uncle would buy me when I was a little boy have gone extinct, can no longer be found on the menu. But most importantly, the booth in the corner is empty, the booth where you would find the owner smoking a cigarette almost every night. Unfortunately he passed, a very serious fellow but he could cook wonders. A truly authentic feel and taste. The roast beef sub was in my opinion, the best in the region. And their chicken Alfredo was super creamy, a real delicacy. The Italian bread was the secret I believe. A very nostalgic place to me that is no more, the changes have been drastic. They say change is good but there's always an exception. The roast beef sub was perfect, it didn't need to switch from Swiss to cheddar cheese and definitely didn't need bacon. I did ask for the original which they gladly made, the taste was a bit off though. The Alfredo was a bit watery and the flavor was very mild compared to the rich, sharper flavor the older one had. The pizza wasn't bad, didn't change much. Service was pretty decent, no complains there. The updated menu was a real game changer for me, will no longer be dining here.
