It wasn't incredibly busy, but a large group came in ahead of us for lattes and such, so it really backed everything up. We waited at least 20 minutes, if not 30, for our food. And it is coming from a counter-ordering style restaurant that you expect to be quick. The menu and selection sound really good. They have sandwiches that you can build your own, and they have baked goods. Obviously, they have coffee. We both built a breakfast sandwich. And mine was far from good. it was plain and poorly built - I honestly had a hard time eating it at all. My friend's apparently tasted good, but it was an open-faced "sandwich" without warning and ended up being incredibly hard to eat with his hands. I also got a chocolate pistachio muffin. That was good, at least, but it wasn't incredible! Even though it could have been a bad day, I will not be going back. There was not one single piece of that experience that was pleasurable enough to get me to spend my money there again.

The Whisker Room is a partner with Big Lake Humane Society (Local Cat Shelter). Big Lake Humane provides kittens looking for a home. The whisker room gives people a chance to see these cats, and not just at the rescue, but thriving and living in a great environment. How it works? Unfortunately due to kittens having finite amount of energy, we have to limit how many people can see them at a time. Currently we have six kittens and are allowing 10 people during the hour time spot. Walk ins are welcome, but not guaranteed. The best way to established your spot before coming in, is to make a reservation on thewhiskerroom.org Is the whisker room making a change? The whisker room has been open for a little over a month, and has been averaging 3 cat adoptions a week!! Upsides of adopting a cat? Cat adoption is a hard process. Finding your forever friend can be difficult especially not knowing the kitten before hand, however at the whisker room we provide the experience to meet the kittens first hand, and get to know their personalities. Another great advantage is all kittens have their vaccinations, are micro chipped, and fixed. Come see the Kittens today!
