All that to say I was super intimidated to take the plunge now, in my late 30s. I started with a Saturday afternoon line dancing workshop. I was immediately put at ease by the friendliness and the diversity of ages, sizes, and shapes of people that I found taking the class with me. After my wonderful experience at the workshop, I signed up for beginning modern jazz. Tracey Durbin is an amazing teacher! I was up-front with her about my lack of experience and nervousness. She put me at ease by reminding me that everyone is here to have fun, period. I have now signed up for my second session and I have no plans to stop!

Kirstie, the director, is such a joy to be around and has created a truly unique and special place. Note only Kirstie, but all of the teachers too are committed to the students and create a very positive learning environment. Finally, the students are wonderful providing positive support to one another and put in a great deal of hard work. As I said before, the studio is truly a gem. Went here for the pole dance teaser, which had a dirt cheap special on Groupon, and ended up buying the eight-pack of classes, which still equated to only about $16/class. They also have four packs available, sixteen, and unlimited for the month. In addition to pole dancing, they also offer group fitness classes and acrobatic classes, along with others geared toward fitness goals. I've taken classes at many other places (just not pole) and I've had the most fun here. Bring some friends and have some fun!

OK so let me first say that I have called this company several times to find out information about…read morethe classes they offer. I feel it is important to check service levels not only by using the service, but "interviewing" the potential service provider. Each call resulted in ok service over the phone until this last one. I called CC & Company because I heard that they were one of the best in the area. I think the key here is "in the area". Does not mean best of the best. The classes are not actual dance classes for the little kids. Creative Movement is not something I am interested in. My children can get that at a day care. I want a dance company to provide REAL dance classes. They say that they are not able to teach kids so young. Well I could put well over a thousand youtube links that say that yes younger kids can be taught and be exceptional. Just disappointing that the daytime classes are not available and the variety is truly not there. When I asked the person on the phone for a referral of a studio in Raleigh that taught classes during the day for 4 year olds, she told me that she did not know of any other studios. This company has been open for how long and they don't know of any other companies. Just a tip. Customer service is not just about getting customers to buy from you, but being able to provide them what they need. That is what brings lifetime customers. I say CC & Company needs to really step it up and get with the market of younger children and the talent they have. Get on the same level as Disney, America's got Talent, youtube, and many others who recognize that there is talent before 5.

You will most likely become as addicted to these classes as I have been. You'll get strong, lean and toned really fast while working at your own pace. All of the instructors are amazing and have very different styles. Try all of them to find your best match but you really can't go wrong with any of them. They push you to your limits but are extremely encouraging and helpful. The trampoline classes are a great workout (you will sweat the entire 45 minutes) and also so fun. I honestly never thought I'd take a trampoline class for cardio but now I'm hooked. It's been a joy to come to this studio.
