Food was great, service good. You can eat inside or out. But, it was hot outside so inside we went in.

I love The Daily Grind's chicken salad, curry chicken salad. I have that every time I go there. It consists of shredded chicken breast, pineapple, golden raisins almonds, celery and Curry Mayo which you can get served on a bed of greens or a baguette. I always choose the baguette. It's delicious! The service is always great. They have a lot of young kids that work there but they're very attentive and professional. The ambiance is great, especially out on the patio which is my favorite place to sit outside in the summertime. I love the chairs that they have there. My grandmother used to have the same chairs at her house in my childhood.. It gives me good memories of her when I see those chairs. I would definitely recommend the Daily Grind.

I brought a couple friends here who had never been here before, for brunch. The food was excellent. I had the Buffalo Chicken sandwich with blue cheese coleslaw and crispy fries. This is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had anywhere. The fries were cooked to perfection. I also opted to get a strawberry refresher, which was...well, refreshing! The service was stellar. Our server checked in with us, but was not overbearing and gave us time to visit, which was nice and appreciated. The ambience is outstanding. We sat on the patio and all the tables are covered so there's plenty of shade. There are also bug fans on the table to keep the critters away. It's spacious and there are lots of tables both inside and outside. This restaurant has one of the most unique menus I've seen in town. They have some really creative and delicious offerings and I highly recommend them if you're looking for something unique to satisfy your taste buds.

We tried The daily Grind for lunch today. We had tried them in the past but it had been years. I got the Cheddar French Toast BLT with a fried egg and my husband got a Philly cheesesteak and fries. The food was so amazing. My food was just the right amount of savory and sweet. My husband said his was good quality steak with the ratio to meat, cheese, onions and peppers. The fries were crispy and salty. We got seated on the patio which was so nice and shaded. Our service was on point. We will definitely be back. I am going to try and make my dish at home it was that good.

ABQ Sandwich - Aka the Albuquerque Turkey! This version is Turkey, cheese, green chile, grilled tomato and avocado all on a baguette.

First time at The Daily Grind and I loved it! My ABQ Sandwich (Albuquerque turkey) was delicious. The dining room was busy but never seemed overly loud. Staff were very attentive and our table's drinks never went empty. Will absolutely be returning! ABQ Sandwich - The Grind's version is Turkey, cheese, green chile, grilled tomato and avocado all on a baguette. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

We haven't been to Daily Grind in many years. We just don't get over here often. The food was good, flavorful and served hot. I really like their menu. They have unique combinations. The cafe has a lot of art on the wall and is very open and airy with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good. Our server was very busy so it took a little longer for drink refills. He was very nice and friendly. Bathrooms are clean too. Definitely recommend them but be patient. They are definitely popular. I was a little disappointed their limited baked goods. In the past (like 5+ years ago) they had this Carmel cake that was amazing!

Yesterday, we stopped in for breakfast and everything was excellent. I had an omelette with green chiles, spinach, and cheese. Friends had huevos rancheros and another egg dish. Excellent food. We loved it so much we came back today. The staff is amazing, the owners are on site and truly the nicest people. When in the ABQ, do yourself a solid and eat at The Daily Grind!

Very nice ambiance and beautiful layout on the menu!

Let's me start off by saying that our server Cole was very attentive, friendly and responsive! High five to this guy!!! The Inside is inviting and clean! The omelette was as expected.. fluffy and well stuffed! The Cubano brought back that island feel! Good job Daily Grind. And let's talk parking.. HUGE parking. Spots were large and very safe! Highly recommended! next time I gotta get the shepherds pie!

Big selection of coffee drinks. After I ordered an Americano I kinda wished I had gotten a Dirty Chai. Next time. Good service. The portions are really big. Got the Breakfast Burrito David's Style, cheistmas. Wasn't too big a fan of their red chile, I'll get green only next time. Big dining hall type atmosphere. Local art on the walls.

Been here quite a few times, and to be honest, it has kind of become a breakfast go to for my boyfriend and I. The service is among the top for friendly staff. We're always greeted with a smile and are given ample space to enjoy each others company but yet still be appropriately waited on. We've only been for breakfast. The chile pocket is good for something a little but not too light. I also enjoy the avocado toast, with a side of over medium eggs please. If you are really hungry, I opt for the Cheddar French Toast BLT. It's quite gluttonous in appearance, but you'll be glad you ordered it, lol! Should tie you over until lunch. I think they are open for lunch too. I just haven't tried it.

Service C- Got water. Came back and took our drink order, iced tea. Didnt ask if we were ready to order food, we were. Back and forth looking over at us 3x. Ran some food though 2 others were running food. Wasn't busy an hr before closing. Cleanliness - F- DISGUSTING...like shocking Real bummer. Used to be so much nicer.

    Inside the cafe

This place has really great food and service! The green Chile had great flavor & the portions were large. The specialty drinks are a little small for the price, but very well done!

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

Directly across the street from University of New Mexico's main entrance, this place is packed when school is in session. This place is huge, but not at first glance. Walk into the retro-looking, Western themed dining room, and you'll see a huge menu board above the order counter. There is are several freestyle soda machines in the middle of the room. There are little digital screens in the corner where you watch for your order number and a counter in the corner where you go pick up your food. It's not until you go into the next room that you discover there is another "next room," and then another. There is a lot of art on the walls, including several John Wayne pictures. The girl at the counter who took our order was an absolute ray of sunshine--so friendly and sweet. We ordered the green chili cheeseburger with onion rings and the daily special which is the "green pile-up" (beans, hash browns, scrambled egg, and green chili beef). The good came our talented quickly, and was quite yummy. Frontier is an Albuquerque classic. If it old? Yes, but it has a huge faithful following, not including the things of UNM students that pack this giant diner during the school year. It may not be a "must try" for some, but if you want Albuquerque nostalgia, this is your place. Btw--it's pretty darn cheap,!

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner.
