I stopped here with my cousin and one of our good friends, since we were in the area. There were not a lot of restaurants open on Sunday, but this place seemed like it would be good to try. It's one of those home cooking places that I've grown up with and always reminds me of going to grandmas house to eat. They had a lot of food choices and the prices were cheap compared to most places. The entree and side selection were great. I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich with onion rings. The steak sandwich came on a regular style bun and the onion rings were perfectly fried. The steak was thin style and it was cooked to an almost perfect medium. The onion rings were very good. Being that there was so much good food to choose from, I wasn't really sure what to get. My cousin and friend both ordered fried chicken. They both said majority of their food was cold. But, we were all too hungry to wait for anymore food. The service was good and friendly, but being that most of the food came out cold or not really warm, that's the only reason I took off a star.

It's a decent little place for lunch, friendly staff, and the prices are inexpensive. Give it a try sometime!!

Great country food. A staple of my small town. I prefer the hamburger steak. I don't eat here often but the food is the same every time.

The best tasting mom and pop restaurant i've ever gone too 100%. The mozzarella sticks and homemade sauces are spectacular.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Fabulous Greek chicken salad, and some of the best sweet tea and service I have ever had!

They have. Very good lunch menu with a wide variety of lunch portions of their typical dinner menu. Highly recommend the Chicken Athenian.

We were greeted quickly by a friendly server who got us drinks right away. We weren't ready to order and he did not rush us. He asked us to move our table number to the front of the table so he would know we were ready. I liked that touch! We went very traditional for breakfast. I opted for the French toast combo with bacon and hash browns. My friend opted for the spinach and feta omelet. Both arrived quickly and were fresh and hot. My food was tasty, the bacon was crispy as ordered and the hash browns were nicely shredded and not too greasy. The only thing that was a bit off was my friend asked for her omelet to be well done and she had to send it back for a recook. There was no problem with that and it was back quickly and definitely cooked much more to her liking. Overall I liked the place for a no frills but well cooked meal. The server was pleasant and we never had to ask for refills. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for a nice, affordable meal.

Both meals were delicious. The croissant was perfect, so fluffy and so fresh. The pastries looked really good too, disappointed I didn't grab one of those as well. Service was amazing also. I did notice people drinking while waiting on their table which is a plus. I ordered the savory toast and it was delicious. Light but filling. I also had a chai latte which hit the spot. My fiancé had the poppyseed pancake and omg let me tell you. It was perfect! Sweet but not overly sweet. Moist but not raw with a hint of honey in the mix. The syrup as well had a hit of honey and came out warm. This just added the cherry on the top. Walnuts decorated the tops of the pancakes with a nice crunch and lift sweet taste. The location is great, small yet cozy. If it were a tad bigger, I can see it filling up as well. If I could give this a 10, I would. Don't overthink it, come eat here.
