It felt as though the staff had a hard time being attentive to the demand. I did appreciate the glasses customized to the Cheshire Cat, as well as the ambiance. Lunch yesterday--my wife n' I visited for the first time--celebrating my birthday. Work colleagues had raved about the good food and service at The Cheshire Cat Pub. Our visit absolutely confirmed their perceptions--wow!!! Based on our experience we'll add an additional x15+++ to their 'rave' sentiments. A dedicated a top notch team effort from reservation, meal and final wrap up! The food, venue, the entire Cheshire Cat Pub Team working in unison made for an outstanding birthday celebration experience! We started our lunch with amber beer on tap, followed by Hot Beef & Yorkie, 2 piece FIsh n' Chips and Sticky Toffee Pudding & tea. To the The Cheshire Cat Pub...your teamwork and dedication to excellance is commendable. Kudos to all of you.

We didn't want chain fast food that would make us feel icky during our drive, and my mom quickly found this place. Had no idea what to expect when we walked in. Honestly didn't even know if it was open because the lights were off and not really any music was playing. But we were greeted and sat at a table near the window since we were the only ones in there. I ordered the Ashe-Reshteh soup and the Fattoush. I devoured both as they were incredible. That Ashe-Reshteh though... I still dream about that. It warmed not only my belly, but also my soul. Mom had lentil soup (very good, but mine was more my favorite) and fattoush as well. I'm sad as I'll probably never be in that region again, but if I am, I'm immediately returning to ParsItal. Thank you for the wonderful lunch. We loved it so much.

We were really happy with our experience. The lady who served us was very friendly and gave us helpful suggestions on what to order that would go together. We ordered the garlic shallot yogurt appetizer and the barbecue eggplant appetizer, and split the lamb shank. All were fantastic! The lamb came with a big plate of rice, and all the flavors were different yet melded well. We saved room for the homemade Persian ice cream for dessert that we heard discussed at another table. One order comes with three scoops, so it is definitely enough to share. The ice cream was flavored with saffron and other spices, and flecked with tiny crunchy pieces of pistachio. It was really delicious - fresh and herbal-tasting. We are so glad we stopped in to this place for dinner. Highly recommend.

Our server Lisa, was amazing and very attentive. We were lucky enough that it was a beautiful, sunny day and we sat out on the patio. The menu was interesting with a lot of choice and the drink specials were on until 2pm. I had my first Caesar in years. It was ok, a bit weak. I am very detail oriented and would have liked more garnish. We got a croissant sandwich, fries, zucchini sticks, a wrap... no complaints about the food at all. We had a great time and would definitely return.

The attention to quality was apparent in every tasty bite. My lovely bride ordered the honey lime salad. It was a veritable culinary ballet. The dressing danced lightly on the tasty mixed greens and fruit. I had the pleasure of the shrimp and scallop crepes. Perfectly prepared seafood and a mushroom sauce that complimented the dish. It is hard to get good seafood so far away from salt water but the shrimp and scallops were expertly prepared. Not over cooked and so tender and tasty. Service was on point. Timing was spot on. It was a beautiful, warm day so we decided to dine outdoors on their patio. Early on in the meal, it began to get brighter with the sun beating down on us, so our waitress was kind enough to set up a large umbrella to shield us from the intense sunshine. By the way, we had the best waitress ever here- I believe her name was Carrie. OMG- she was so funny and quickwitted. She did an amazing job waiting on our large party of 7. The menu had many options and pretty much had something for everyone. There were salads, burgers and so many other options. I chose the Mexi Bowl. Okay, this was next-level good! Every component of the bowl was spot on. Everything harmonized so well together. It was Mexican rice, black beans, diced tomatoes, grilled peppers and onions. I opted for the pulled pork and it was finished off with chipotle mayo and sour cream. It was sooo delicious! These were the best grilled onions and peppers. They were delicately diced and the peppers and purple onions were perfectly caramelized. You could not have asked for a more perfect Mexi Bowl. Being from Texas, I was impressed with the fresh ingredients and how it totally gave me Mexican-vibes. Great job! Throughout lunch service all the outdoor table filled up on a Monday, so that totally tell you how busy this place can get- but not surprising. The food here was great and to forgot to mention how delicious my citrus beverage was (I think it was lemonade, pineapple and soda water). Overall, Redneck Bistro was a true delight. Every aspect of my visit exceeded my expectations. Definitely make your way here if you're in the Greater Madawaska area for an excellent meal and experience!
