The only issues i can say we had were the booths were so low and it was freezing. The food was great. A lot of food for the price. The pancakes could have tasted a bit better. But the chicken and waffles were great. They're chicken fingers fyi. But def great. My chicken fries steak was HUGE i couldn't finish it. It was very crispy the gravy was great. The hot syrup was very nice touch. Had to get a slice of pie to go cause we're so full. Def get the pie though they are very good. Overall i would def recommend this place over an ihop. Everyone talks about their pies here and yes they are fantastic and you can often get less common pies that you would not find in your local grocery store. Think Rhubarb, Lemon Marange, French Silk or even a pumpkin pie in May. Service was fine and the food was excellent. Standard diner rules so you can have breakfast anytime you would like. We ordered club sandwich and biscuits and gravy that came out quickly and disappeared from our plate in short order. I will certainly be back as they offer daily specials and take note that if you are a veteran they also have a special for you as well.

I had heard this place was legendary online and by word of mouth. I knew I needed to try this place…read moreout. I went with my mom and it was probably fifty minutes after it had opened for the day. There were quite a few people already eaten and by the demographic (older crowd) I knew this place was going to slap. In addition to that, I heard some of the waitresses talking to the customers and most of them seemed to be locals and frequent customers. Due to that, I figured the food must be good. Anyway, we had a server who was very friendly and personable. I ordered the lunch special where I got the catfish, fried flounder, the vegetable of the day, squash, and mashed potatoes with country fried steak gravy. My mom got fried clam and fried catfish with a side of coleslaw. The ordering time did not take too long and our food came out relatively fast. The catfish was very tasty along with the fried flounder. They are were very well cooked and had a nice breading-to-fish ratio. I enjoyed the yellow squash as the vegetable of the day but I wasn't crazy about the mashed potatoes. I personally would not get them again. My mom enjoyed the fried clam as she talked about how she used to get a Howard Johnsons fried clam sandwich that she still dreams of. She said these fried clams were even better cooked than the ones she had in the past. She also said she really enjoyed the catfish as it was very tasty. Finally, she mentioned how the coleslaw was really good as it wasn't overly 'mayonaisey.' Now, I do have one negative thing to say. Although our waitress was very sweet and kind she was a bit slow on wrapping up our dining experience. We both wanted to get some desert to go, and waited at least ten minutes for her to come back to our table. There was a long period of time where I did not see her waiting on any tables and was in the kitchen. She eventually came back and we ordered the Chocolate Silk Pie and the Peach Cobbler. Then we ended up waiting another ten for the check. Other than that, we did enjoy our experience and this restaurant and would come back in the future.

Great food I love the greasy burgers, but I don't love the price if they had better operation times where they can make up for their pricing I think would benefit them. I've never spent so much on just a drink alone at a restaurant, but I will tell you, the owners are quite friendly and very lovable. I don't have a problem supporting a small town business, but it's not a place that I'm gonna go too often. I'm raking my stars off of pricing and for the last two times I've been there. It just looked very grungy. This place needs a little lift me up in a deep cleaning.

Everything was really flavorful, filling, and worth trying. My only small complaint with the food is that you can't mix and match the tacos, which would be nice since they have some fun options. The restaurant itself has a bar, indoor and outdoor seating, and a very nice modern style. The staff was friendly and seemed to be trying their best to keep up with how busy and hectic the restaurant gets. I took off a star because the air conditioning is definitely an issue, which made the experience less enjoyable, especially in this Florida heat. This isn't my first time here, and every visit seems to come with a wait. They also seem to be short-staffed most of the time, so service can feel a little stretched. I would say it's on the pricey side, but the food is worth it in the end. With better staffing and some cooling in the dining area, the overall experience would match the quality of the food so much better. With that being said, I'll definitely be back, but probably on a day when it's nice and cool!

Rodeo was one of the first places we found, and it's been a favorite ever since. This newer location may be an expansion, but it still holds tight to the heart and soul of the original. From the moment you walk in, you know you're somewhere special. There's nothing flashy or overdone, just honest, old-fashioned country cooking served with a smile. The staff is genuinely friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere is refreshingly simple and unpretentious. It's the kind of place where regulars are greeted by name, and newcomers are welcomed like old friends. We always go for breakfast, no reservations needed. Just roll out of bed and roll through the door. The specials are great, the prices are fair, and the food is consistently satisfying. If you're looking for a recommendation, trust me: the Rodeo Breakfast Special will absolutely make your morning. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. In a world that's constantly changing, Rodeo Diner is one of the last true vestiges of what old St. Cloud used to be. It's a comforting reminder of simpler times, where good food and good people came together without all the fuss. We're lucky to have it.

We happen to stumble upon Jimmy Bears BBQ and are glad we had the opportunity to try it! We came on a Friday night around 6pm, expecting the restaurant to be packed but as we walked in we quickly realized we were the only patrons there. During our time there we never saw anyone else come in either. We ordered our food to-go, and it came out relatively quickly! We felt the price was on par with similar restaurants, and very fair for the amount of food you received The food itself was overall decent. There were some items that we really enjoyed, like the Mac and cheese, three blind mice sandwich, and the Alabama white sauce!! Other items like the green beans or pulled brisket left us wanting more. The green beans did not taste fresh, and the brisket lacked seasoning/flavor. There were also a lot of fried elements like the tater tots, onion rings or even the mozzarella sticks on the three blind mice sandwich, which we feel like were all decent and not too greasy, but also know those are easy things to make regardless of where you're at! The staff was very friendly at the restaurant! They were available if we had questions, and got our food out quickly to us. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little out of date and worn. You could definitely tell this establishment/building has been here for awhile with little to no updates over the years. A few updates to the space I think would really transform it and make it look like it belongs in 2023 not 1993. We do see ourselves coming back in the future, as we saw a few other menu items we are curious about trying!
