Had the chicken empanadas! The pastry dough taste homemade and the filling was amazing. As good as any I've had in Miami. Definitely worth coming in

I'll start by I am only speaking about breakfast. This is 100% not Cuban and/or prepared and cooked like a real Cuban restaurant would cook. The food was not bad but very disappointing it wasn't Cuban style. The bread is not Cuban bread either. I cannot speak for the lunch food but breakfast was disappointing. I won't return here. The service was fine. There was only one employee working at the time. I was the only customer there. The building is attached to a gas station so I didn't really care for the ambiance.

This little hole-in-the-wall spot completely blew me away. It might look unassuming from the outside, but the food tells a whole different story. The Cuban sandwich was phenomenal--perfectly pressed, loaded with flavor, and honestly one of the best I've ever had. The pork was tender, the ham was just right, and that crisp bread with the tangy pickles and mustard... absolute perfection.

Who would of thought that a restaurant in a shady gas station plaza would be so dang delicious?! Don't let the looks fool you!! My friends and I stopped here after drinking at a bar nearby around 11. We were a bit sad that they were out of most sandwiches but we ordered empanadas and yucca fries instead. The empanadas were kind of small but packed a lot of flavor! They had the olives and raisins just how it should be when having a beef empanada! The yucca fries were amazing! They were so crispy and flavorful! The cilantro garlic sauce put them over the top! They took our order fast and it was cooked as ordered. Loved the Miami vibes in a parking lot. I looked at their Instagram and the full plates look absolutely delicious. I will definitely try more the next time I'm in Savannah!

Attached to a gas station, small outdoor tables, clean environment. In reality this should be a 3.5. Sadly, This "Ventanita" left a little to be desired for my Cuban heart. The guys at the counter were both quite friendly, after chatting with one of them I learned one was from Havana, so we spoke about where we were from. I asked about the coffee as a coffee lover at heart, I wanted to know about the "cafecito". Here I ordered a colada and a cortadito. A colada is meant to be shared and therefore served with sharing cups - IYKYK. That was not the case here. The cortadito, which comes in sizes? Was too large for a cortadito and I got the small. Flavor profile was ok, but I missed the espumita. Quick counter ordering, no true seating but great for a grab and go option. For food I got the pork , white rice with the black beans and sweet plantains. I will say the Lechon was on point, it was moist and flavorful. The beans and rice were ok, heavy on cumin on the beans and a bit drier than desired. The plantains were ok. We also got empanadas ( both beef and Chicken) and Cuban sandwiches. The bread on the Cuban was not right, but the sandwich overall was ok. They were out of croquetas, so if you want to try that go earlier. ( We were there around 5pm)

Great hidden gem off the tourist track. Well worth the Uber to try this lunch counter attached to a gas station. Everything we had was delicious, especially the chickpeas. The sandwich's were exceptional and the cilantro garlic sauce that came with the yucca fries was the star of the show.

We were heading back home and saw this place. The inside was retro with records hanging on the wall was pretty cool idea. We got their sandwiches and it was good. The service was good and will come back here.

It's the only cuban food around. Definitely a hole in the wall best of its kind! Food is generous portions.

This takeout embedded in an urban gas station offers Cuban cuisine, with a few vegetarian options. I stumbled into what was billed as black bean sliders. These turned out to be a pressed bread-based sandwich cut into smaller sandwiches for some reason, and filled with a large black bean pattie vaguely reminiscent of falafel, along with some lettuce, tomato, and a vigorous garlic sauce. Salty, but delicious. Curry chickpeas and some pastries and drinks were available as well, and the place had a few tables to sit at and is open long hours.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! Absolutely outstanding Cuban sandwich and plantains! Great vibe, great music, fantastic staff. **Highly recommended**

Cuban Window is one of the best holes in the wall places in downtown Savannah. Not many places are putting out Cuban food in the area, in fact really only one other that isn't worth the time stopping. These guys put out some amazing Cuban pastries and dishes that truly reflect authentic Cuban cuisine. Once you've experienced true Cuban dishes there is no replica and these guys are nailing it. Some of the best croquettes I've had came from them and hands down the best empanadas. All their dishes are a hit but don't forget to order a cafe con leche to go to top off the meal!

Visiting for the weekend and had to come twice. The food was too good and the staff were so friendly. Will be back every time we're in Savannah!

Food was Cuban, just like I remember it from my childhood. The service was maso-meno. The environment is a bit tight, but the food is good.

Quick service. Tasty food. Large servings. Hole in the wall place just a short walk from Ball St. If we lived nearby we'd come frequently.

I got the bowl with everything, off yellow rice and black beans ( NO RICE AND GONDULES, not made here) roasted pork, salad and avocado and corn ( which I didn't want but was added, even though it was told...‍). Good thing I don't have an allergy to corn. Very nice girl at the counter but i guess was distracted. Although it's a nice size bowl which I couldn't finish in one sitting, I was disappointed with the pork. Yes it should be tender like pulled pork but not mushy. Not only that it could have used more flavor, in our culture we love to use numerous spices. Our food is definitely not bland. All I can think is that maybe at one time in the beginning the food was on point and over time it's lacking. The dining area is a nice size for eating indoors and they share the space with a Bolivian establishment which serves meat Pattie's and fresh juice drinks. The food is mediocre and not an option for me. I will continue my hunt for some Spanish food that will please my palette.
