We arrived just nine minutes later at 7:09 PM, but the host was missing from the stand for a solid 10 minutes. When she finally showed up, she told us the wait would actually be an hour and a half. We weren't seated until around 8:25 PM, and after ordering, we waited another 15 minutes for our food. Because the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM, we were literally the last people there. ​However, the front-of-house chaos was completely salvaged by the rest of the experience. Our server, Danielle, was amazingly kind, sweet, and incredibly awesome! On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing, tasty, and served piping hot, with 1 of the hurricane combo being really cold. My brother couldn't finish it. And the steak was dry, and needed more flavor. I will say the chicken tenders were ginormous and very juicy. My shrimp were fresh butterflied gulf shrimp and hand breaded. So good. Their manchego fries were selling like crazy, too. This is the sister restaurant to Calypso in Half Price books. Great little spot on the island that's worth a visit if you want a break from the bustling tourist scene. Note there is some road noise but it's not out of control.
